this is one of the most popular scenic spots inside of the national park! first you have to pay extra 40 bhat for the entrance if you would love to visit this 2 pagodas and the beautiful garden. and depends on the weather condition, we couldn’t really enjoy the view since it was cloudy and rainy on the top. After experiencing the cool morning air at the highest point of Doi Inthanon, drive to visit the pagodas. There is a parking lot available, and a free shuttle service to the pagodas. Tips can be given in the Tip box. Entrance fee for Thai adults is 50 Baht, which is a donation for the maintenance of the site. Reaching the pagodas is easy with an escalator available for going up, but you have to walk down. There are beautiful flower gardens at the top, and the weather is cool and pleasant. If you visit during the right season, you might see a sea of mist.

Phra Mahathat Naphonphumisiri is a pagoda with a 12-sided base and a glass balcony around it on 2 levels. It is the place where the Buddha's relics are enshrined. Inside the pagoda is a Buddha statue in a contemplative posture, standing on a lotus flower, carved from white jade. It is a place for ecotourism.

The gold one is for the King, purple for the Queen. To reach the pagodas, you can walk up a flight of stairs. Both pagodas are impressive. Do check out the inner walls of the pagoda which tells stories of Buddhism & Thai history in the form of carved art. 📸 The views at the top are surreal, like drawings out of a picture book.
