Provence-style wine dinner at UNO MAS restaurant on the 54th floor of Centara Grand at Central World
Provence, or the southern region of France, is an all-time dream destination for many people, especially during this summer. Imagine the beaches of Nice or lavender fields in Aix-en-Provence.
Ingredients from Mediterranean coastal cities, from France to Italy, have been transformed into dinner menu items created by Chef Luca Rosso and Benjamin Simadja, combining both Italian and French cuisines, such as pasta gnocchis from Nice, petit boullaibaise fish soup from Marseille, and a dessert that will wake you up with the sour taste of lemon from Menton. We also tried the Calissons d'Aix pastry, which uses almonds from Aix-en-Provence. It was incredibly delicious.
Each course is paired with world-class rosé wine from Château d'Esclans, which is the name of a castle. Located in the heart of Provence, in the town of St.Tropez, the birthplace of Rosé wine, Rosé Renaissance is a well-rounded, light-bodied wine that perfectly brings out the flavors of each dish. Plus, I slept very well that night.
