I recently stayed at the Boston Marriott Copley Place. The location of the hotel was really great, and the surrounding area was very safe, so I was able to stay there with peace of mind. The hotel was close to Boston's major tourist attractions, and it was very convenient to be able to walk to anywhere, such as the Boston Museum of Fine Arts and Boston Common. In addition, there were many restaurants and cafes around the hotel, so I was able to enjoy delicious food. There were a variety of options, including American food, Asian food, and Italian food, so it is recommended for gourmets. And there was a large supermarket (I forgot the name) just below the hotel building, which was very useful when I wanted to buy drinks and snacks. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff service was polite, and I had a comfortable stay. It is a floating museum with live reenactments, multimedia exhibits, and a tearoom, dedicated to the Boston Tea Party of 1773. On a recent trip to Boston, one of the highlights for me was whale watching! If you’re visiting during a period of time when the whales or migrating (we went in April) you have a pretty good chance of spotting a lot of marine life. The tickets for the boat are cheap and easily available from the pier area. The city itself is very pretty with great architecture and a nice buzz. A place I visited every morning while in Boston! Wonderful girls’ trip to Boston and Salem. Enjoyed the fall colors and we absolutely LOVED the fog and comfortable temperatures. My favorite place was the crypt tour in the Old North Church. We were the last tour of the day and our tour guide took extra time to tell us her personal experiences and answer our questions. It was so personalized and fun. We also booked seats to Hairspray in the Citizens Bank Opera House. Beautiful venue! We rode the T (Boston’s subway) to and from our hotel, Copley Square, and felt fairly safe, even at night. One of the days we rented a car one of the days to travel to Salem. We visited the week before Halloween; Salem was full, but fun. Parking was at a premium, so we paid to park at a small, independently owned gas station. We appreciated our Boston city pass which included entrance to many attractions both in Boston and Salem, including a hop-on, hop off trolley tour of the Freedom Trail. Pro Tip: Be sure to download maps and have a general idea of where you’re headed as our Verizon navigation service was spotty in both Boston and Salem. Turn by turn driving instructions were almost non existent. We did, however, find individuals very helpful and kind when we asked (multiple times!) for directions.

No trip to Boston would be complete without visiting the home of the famous patriot, craftsman, businessman and entrepreneur Paul Revere. Built around 1680, the Paul Revere House, owned by the legendary patriot from 1770-1800, is the oldest remaining structure in downtown Boston and also the only official Freedom Trail historic site that is a home. This is my second time visiting this place but this time I was able to see the structure and relics of Paul Revere’s life.

Deer Island is a peninsula located in the capital of Massachusetts, City of Boston. Although an island by its name, it is actually connected to the mainland of Boston by the Shirley Gut channel. This bridge separates the island from the town of Winthrop. Today, the island boost its location of the Deer Island Waste Water Treatment Plant, whose 150-foot-tall egg-like sludge digesters (as seen in one of the photos) are major harbor landmarks in Massachusetts. #fallingforfall #spooktaculartrip
