A trip to Bangkok is all about eating, drinking, and staying in hotels~
I've been to Bangkok many times. I've been to Chinatown, the Grand Palace, Khao San Road, Wat Arun, and various night markets many times, but I still come to Bangkok often because it's so comfortable. Plus, it's less than a 3-hour flight from Chengdu, Thailand offers visa-free entry, and the plane tickets aren't expensive, so you can just take off whenever you want.
This time, I stayed in a suite at the Sofitel Bangkok Sukhumvit. Because the Airport Rail Link is so convenient, many travelers choose to stay in Sukhumvit. It's also only two stops away from Central Chidlom and the Erawan Shrine, so it's very convenient for shopping.
☕️About dining:
❶Italian restaurant: You must order a steak and Italian red wine at Bella Sera, the Italian restaurant on the second floor. Breakfast is also served here. It's a buffet with a wide variety of dishes.
❷Japanese restaurant: Maison Mizuki, the Japanese restaurant on the first floor, combines a bar and Japanese cuisine, so I ordered two cocktails and some Japanese dishes. Everything was so delicious that I ate it all, even though I was so full. Highly recommended 👍~
❸Executive Lounge: Because I was staying in a suite, I could use the Executive Lounge on the 31st floor. It's very quiet here, so you can come here to relax and have a drink. There are cocktails available every day at 5pm, and lunch and dinner are also served, so I ordered several cocktails here. Every one of them was great. Suite guests can also have breakfast here and order from the menu, which has more upscale dishes.
❹Rooftop terrace: The 32nd floor is a bar with an outdoor terrace. It's super comfortable to have a drink here in the evening and watch the sunset. I saw a radial sunset glow that day. I was so lucky~

🏨About the room: The suite is very large, with 180-degree views. You can see the large swimming pool below. The room design is very upscale, combining Thai and European styles. There is a tablet in the living room and bedroom that can be used to control the lights, air conditioning, and TV. You can also use it to order food, laundry, transportation, and many other services.

🏖️About other things: The hotel's swimming pool is very large and makes for great photos. If you like to work out, you can also go to the gym, which has complete facilities. You can walk directly to the train station from the third floor of the hotel, making it easy to take the train to the city center, which is only two or three stops away. There are spas, bars, and supermarkets nearby, which are all very convenient.

💳About entry preparations:
❶Bring sunglasses, sunscreen, and flip-flops (sandals) to Bangkok.
❷You can buy a data SIM card in advance, or you can roam with your own card for a maximum of CNY 25 per day. Of course, you can also choose other methods.
❸Visa-free entry. The airport has signs in Chinese. You can get your passport stamped directly upon entry without being asked any questions. The hotels and shopping malls in Bangkok have signs in Chinese, and many service staff also speak Chinese, making it very tourist-friendly and easy for Chinese people.
❹Almost all places accept Alipay and WeChat Pay, including the subway, so you can have a completely cashless trip. However, it is recommended that people who travel abroad frequently bring a credit card.
