📞Hello Hello, I heard it and answered.
There are many Wat Chaengs, and the origins of their names are often similar. Wat Chaeng in Prachinburi, near the train station, is also one of them.
This temple was built during the reign of King Rama III by Chao Phraya Bodindecha (Singha Singhaseni) when he led his army back from the war with Cambodia and arrived at this temple at dawn.
This temple has a Lanna-style chapel, beautifully built, enshrining Luang Pho Phet, a Chiang Saen-style Buddha statue.
Wat Chaeng’s chedi is similar to Phra That Phanom in Nakhon Phanom Province, and is also built on the riverside, which is very beautiful.
