1. Tiger God Shrine
Located on Tanao Road, intersecting with Phanom Nop, Tiger God Shrine is a Chinese temple that is popular for asking for blessings for work and solving bad luck. In front of the temple, there is a shop selling worship sets. Here, they focus on oranges, fresh pork, and chicken eggs. The area is not very large. You have to take turns going in to worship. It is only during holidays when there are a lot of people. We recommend going on weekdays.
2. Wat Phra Chetuphon Wimon Mangkhalaram or Wat Pho
It is a first-class royal temple. It is a popular temple among Thais and foreigners. It is famous for its beautiful location. The highlight here is the 4-reign pagoda and the large reclining Buddha. The back of the temple is also connected to Tha Tien Market, where you can go for a walk or find something to eat.
3. Wat Rakhang Khositaram Worawihan From Phra Nakhon side, take a boat at Tha Chang side to hear the results at Wat Rakhang pier. Wat Rakhang is popular for praying for smooth career from Somdej Phra Buddhacarya (To Phrommarangsi) who is enshrined on the banks of the Chao Phraya River. Another highlight is the white pagoda of Wat Rakhang (Somdej To Phrommarangsi) which is tall and magnificent.
4. Wat Arun Ratchawararam Ratchaworamahawihan
Famous for enhancing charisma, eliminating bad luck, and supporting destiny.
This is another beautiful day. Thai people get in for free, while foreigners pay an entrance fee. The highlight of Wat Arun is the prang of Wat Arun, which is popular for both Thais and foreigners to take pictures. At night, the lights are turned on beautifully, especially the pier on the Chao Phraya River, which is very beautiful.
5. Wat Hong Rattanaram Ratchaworawihan is a temple with a history related to King Taksin. It is popular for praying for career, studies, and exams.
How to get there: Start from the Bangkok side at the Tiger God Shrine and Wat Phra Chetuphon. About 1.5 kilometers apart, travel time about 10-15 minutes, then cross to the other side of the Chao Phraya River, Thonburi side, cross
