Mountain climbing
KhaoTakiab and KhaoKrailat are two mountains, 4 kilometers from downtown Hua Hin. Because the two mountains stand side by side, they look like a pair of chopsticks, so they are called chopsticks by the locals. Play with naughty monkeys There are many monkeys on the mountain, and there is a small temple, the mountain is not high, and you can climb the top of the mountain in about ten minutes. When climbing, you should take care of your carry-on luggage and some small items. Some monkeys will come to grab the bag; daring tourists can also buy a plate of bananas to feed the monkeys. Indulge in Hua Hin's coastline. From the top of the mountain, you can overlook Hua Hin's beaches. The scenery is very good. There are not many tourists here, so you can enjoy Hua Hin's beautiful coastline to the fullest. There is a small fishing village at the foot of the mountain, and there are some small local restaurants where you can eat.
🏞️ Wat Khao Takiap, also known as the Chopsticks Hill Temple, is a famous temple located in Hua Hin, Thailand. Perched on a small hill, it offers stunning views of the coastline and surrounding scenery. This place is not only a serene religious site but also an ideal spot to enjoy spectacular views.✨
💞 Reasons to Visit:
🕌 Temple and Buddha Statues
Although Wat Khao Takiap is a typical Buddhist temple, it features numerous Buddha statues both inside and outside the temple, perfect for photography and admiration.📷✨
🌊 Breathtaking Sea Views
From the temple's elevated position, you can overlook Hua Hin's beaches and the azure sea, offering a mesmerizing view. The panoramic view of Hua Hin is especially refreshing.🫶🏻
💡 Tips 🐒 Monkey Alert
There are many monkeys around the temple. While they are lively and cute, be cautious and avoid feeding or touching them to prevent any accidents.

Khao Takiab Beach, sit and enjoy the view, take a leisurely walk and listen to the sound of the waves.
#Sea near Bangkok Say Hi 👋 to all sea lovers. Today, we are at Khao Takiab Beach, a beautiful beach in Hua Hin. Its highlight is the area with mountains jutting out of the sea, which is Khao Takiab. The beach is crystal clear and has fine white sand, about 1.5 kilometers long. The water level is still shallow, so you can play in it. However, there are some small rocks along the beach, mostly at the end of Khao Takiab. The atmosphere is quieter and more private than other beaches.

Krua Baan Kru, a famous restaurant in Hua Hin, with a nice atmosphere by the sea.
#Hua Hin attractions #Hua Hin great restaurants, nice atmosphere by the sea 🌊
Krua Baan Kru & Good Afternoon Teacher Bar
#Moo Burin Confirms both the food and the view are very good 😁
.
Another restaurant that Moo and my family have been frequenting since childhood and is a #Hua Hin restaurant that has been around for over 30 years by the sea at Khao Takiab. There are a variety of menus, fresh ingredients, good taste. Anyone who comes to #Hua Hin and is looking for a delicious local restaurant, #Moo Burin Sai Daek recommends this restaurant. What Moo likes the most is the fried sea bass with fish sauce and the grilled seafood set, eaten with spicy seafood sauce, very delicious. In the evening, watching the sunset and eating with the family is very good. In addition, for those who want to drink crunchy drinks, they also have a cute bar.
The shop is in Ao Hua Don, Soi 9. If coming from Hua Hin, drive a little past Khao Takiab. Travel to #Hua Hin, a trip to find anyone who is looking for a good restaurant, come here. It's definitely good for your heart, both the taste and the price. Especially if you come with a lot of people Order a variety of things to enjoy together. It's great.

Khao Takiab Temple, Hua Hin Beach Viewpoint
#Entering the temple to make merit #Mountain temple #Beautiful temples in Thailand #Hua Hin #Visit Hua Hin #Pray for blessings #Sea trip #Sea trip #Review of Hua Hin
Wat Khao Takiab is located on Khao Takiab, not far from Mueang Hua Hin District. It is a viewpoint of Hua Hin. You can see the mountain view, the sea view and Hua Hin city.
A brief history: It was originally an abandoned temple. Then, there were wandering monks who came to stay at the temple. The temple was renovated. A road was built on the mountain to make it more convenient to travel to make merit. On top, there is a pagoda that contains a tooth relic or "Phra Khiaw Kaew", which is a sacred object that is believed that if you come to pray and make a wish, it will be granted as requested.
There are many monkeys in the temple. It is recommended not to feed the monkeys or carry food while walking up to the pagoda. It may be dangerous from the monkeys. There is a place to feed the monkeys, but there will be staff in the temple to take you to feed them. They are familiar with these monkeys.
Hello! Happy Time

monkey temple!
Getting There - we rent a scooter for 200bhat/day, it took us around 15 mins to there from Hua Hin city centre
Attractions - famous monkey temple. you will see thousands of monkey just cruising around, and jump from one tree to another.
we were surrounded by at least 50 monkeys. and the signs says no feed after 5pm, because the monks want to have the monkeys go back to the mountain after sunset. we didn’t bring any food, which was quite smart tbh. they can be a bit aggressive sometimes. anyways, it was really lovely to enjoy the view on the top, and watching monkeys teasing each other.
it could be one of the best sunset viewpoints in Hua Hin, we spent almost 2 hours up there just taking some drone videos and pics. strongly recommended #passionpassport #staycation #gooutside #mountainview #temple#urbanexplorer #urbanexplorer #本地遊

Khao Takiab Temple, Hua Hin
Wat Khao Takiab is located on Khao Takiab, Hua Hin District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province. It is a beautiful temple and has sacred objects for worship. Wat Khao Takiab also has a viewpoint where you can see Hua Hin Beach and Hua Hin City. In addition, there are “monkeys” all over the area (don’t accidentally feed them because they will come and attack you in a group). #TeamSouth #WaitingforTravelDay #MissingNature

Khao Takiab (Chopsticks Hill):
This iconic landmark offers breathtaking panoramic views of the coastline. Hike up the hill to visit the Khao Takiab Temple, home to a large golden Buddha statue. Keep an eye out for the playful monkeys that inhabit the area. The hill itself is shaped like a pair of chopsticks, hence its unique name. You can find vendors selling souvenirs and refreshments near the temple.

Making Merit on Father's Day: Taking Dad to Make Merit
This Father's Day, we visited Wat Khao Takiab in Hua Hin, Prachuap Khiri Khan. The temple has several zones for sightseeing, including a shrine on the hilltop where you can pay respects to the Buddha, Guan Yin, and Guan Yu, among others. This famous temple, located by the sea, has fewer than 10 monks. Situated on a hill, it offers multiple viewpoints of the sea, with good weather and beautiful scenery. There are quite a few monkeys around, so bring some coins to use for ringing the temple bells, which is both fun and enjoyable. After ringing the bells, you can donate the coins to the temple. This trip offers both merit-making and sightseeing, making it suitable for both adults and children. Bring your family, including your parents and kids, to enjoy this experience together.

The Perfect Spot to View Hua Hin Beach
A great spot offering a breathtaking view of the entire Hua Hin beach from a high vantage point, especially since much of the beach is occupied by private hotels. It's a place where you can comfortably enjoy the beautiful beach scenery.
Enjoy the peacefulness of the buddhist temple and dont forget to put a smile on your face. : )
Be Aware: Slippery roads to the temple and monkeys

Worship the Buddha in the posture of calming the ocean at Khao Takiab Temple @ Hua Hin
#GetDiscountsWithoutLuck#VisitHuaHin #KhaoTakiab
Today, Dokbua Khao would like to recommend a place to worship in Hua Hin, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province. It is a temple by the sea.
There is a Buddha statue in the posture of calming the ocean standing tall in front. That is Khao Takiab Temple.
👏 The large Buddha statue in the posture of calming the ocean is 16 meters high and is located at the foot of the hill, facing the sea to protect the Khao Takiab area from natural disasters.
🛺 Traveling to worship is not difficult.
For those who do not have a private car, you can take a green songthaew.
From Hua Hin Night Market, locals like to call it a green car or a takiab car. The price is only 15 baht.
❌ Special precautions: Khao Takiab is still a forest and rich with monkeys living there. Please be careful everyone who comes. Because along the way from the green car park to Khao Takiab Temple, we saw many monkeys.
📍Wat Khao Takiab, Nong Kae Subdistrict, Hua Hin District
Prachuap Khiri Khan Province
⏰ Open for visits: 08.00-18.00 hrs.
🏖️Environment/Facilities: Cool atmosphere next to Khao Takiab Beach. There are food and beverage shops downstairs. Or after praying, walk on the beach. Guaranteed to get beautiful photos back. Especially in the evening, the sunset is very beautiful.

Peaceful Wat Khao Takiap
In 2 days Hua Hin, I chose to visit Wat Khao Takiap, which has a different name as Wat Monkeys. It’s far 12km from city center. A hundred of monkeys are live here and friendly with tourists. They’re also very smart and so lovely when they play together. The Wat also has a spectacular view that help you to check-in a thousands of pictures. I feel free and peaceful when I came there.
