Wat Khun Samutrawat: An unseen temple in the middle of the sea in Samut Prakan that is about to disappear
History
Wat Khun Samutrawat or Wat Khun Samut Chin is located in Phra Samut Chedi District, Samut Prakan Province. It was built on July 17, 1967 by Mr. Pratuang Charoennak and Mr. Han Kheng Samut as the initiators. The land was donated to the temple by Mr. Songsa Soncharoen and Mr. Chalo Huadsuwan.

This temple has a long history with our country since ancient times. The highlight here is the old church. It is in the middle of the water and there is a black Buddha statue facing the river. Wat Khun Samutrawat
Wat Khun Samutrawat, a temple in the middle of the sea, is truly surrounded by the ocean. Originally, the temple was located on land, but as the sea level rose, it eroded the coastline, and the temple was affected as well. Nowadays, there is a road leading close to the temple.
The atmosphere inside the temple is peaceful and serene, with a cool breeze blowing. There are two ordination halls: the old one houses a principal Buddha image in the Mara Vichaya posture, while the new one is made entirely of golden teak wood and enshrines a replica of Phra Buddha Chinnarat.
The temple is quiet and adjacent to the sea, with a cool breeze. I appreciate the fact that you have to walk in (there is a shuttle service), as private cars must be parked outside. This prevents noise from vehicles from disturbing the temple, making it more peaceful and less chaotic. Both the new and old ordination halls are beautiful and worth exploring.

📞Hello Hello, I heard it and answered.
Baan Khun Samut Chin used to be accessible only by boat, but now there is a road that can reach it. This is an ecotourism attraction with homestays and food.
Wat Khun SamutRawat is about 1 kilometer from the pier, or you can ride a motorcycle.
The temple was originally located on land, but was eroded by the sea until it became an island. The temple raised the floor of the chapel, but you can only visit the temple during low tide.
