Wat Luang, the first temple in Ubon Ratchathani Province
Wat Luang, Ubon Ratchathani Province, is a temple that is a symbol of Ubon Ratchathani, built by Phra Prathum Worarat Suriyawong (Chao Kham Phong) or Ya Thao Luang, the first governor of Ubon. It is located on the bank of the Mun River. It is home to the Phra Chao Yai Ong Luang and Phra Kaew Paitoon, one of the most important Buddha images in Ubon Ratchathani Province. Inside the temple, there is the Wat Luang Vihara, which is an architectural imitation of the Vihara of Wat Xieng Thong in Luang Prabang, Laos, which has now been demolished. Wat Luang is also another important temple for the people of Ubon Ratchathani, where Buddha images are enshrined and worshipped, such as Luang Pho Pak Dam and Phra Kaew Yai Paitoon. In addition, there are also interesting tourist attractions around the temple. And it is very much worth coming to experience.

Charoen Milk: Grilled Chunky Bread with Fresh Milk.
A retro fresh milk shop newly opened on Phrom Ratch road in the old town area of Ubon Ratchathani. What's cool about this place is the bread cabinet; there are various kinds of bread, particularly chunky bread, which is spread with real butter and grilled over a charcoal stove, giving off a delicious aroma. There's also steamed bread with custard and pandan leaves. The milk is creamy, tasty, and not too sweet, perfect for groups who come to hang out and meet friends, or for couples to enjoy together. It's even more beautiful at night as it's the only shop open late in this area. Milk lovers should not miss this.
