As part of the Ayutthaya Historical Park, it is highly recommended to add this place to your list of places to visit in Thailand, and there's another eight or nine temple complexes within spitting distance! You could literally spend a week looking at them all. It is only an hour and twenty minutes from Bangkok by taxi and expect to pay around 2,000 baht☺️ If you find a good English-speaking taxi driver, they'll even give you a guided tour and get you around town.
