📍Thao Wessuwan sitting on a treasure chest in the middle of Chiang Mai city.
Come to Chiang Mai, walk on the Sunday walking street and pay homage to Thao Wessuwan at Wat Muen Tum. On Sundays, the temple is open for worship until 23:00. Thao Wessuwan here will be in the posture of sitting in a treasure trove, which is believed to be the posture of bestowing wealth and fortune. The temple has offerings for worship at a reasonable price. There are also various corners to make merit. At night, this area is decorated with beautiful red lanterns. Anyone passing by can stop and take pictures. It is a great and beautiful spot. I would like to invite you to visit at night. It is really quiet and beautiful.

📍Thao Wetsuwan: Wat Muen Tum
📍Location: 45 Phra Pok Klao Rd., Phra Singh Subdistrict, Mueang Chiang Mai District, Chiang Mai 50200
🙏🏻 If you are a true spiritual person, you must come to this temple. The temple has invited a very large statue of Thao Wetsuwan to be in the heart of Chiang Mai. You don't need to prepare anything. The temple has flowers, incense, and candles for sale, all ready.
🙏🏻 If you bring your own to worship, it will be red roses.
📷 In addition to praying, the temple also has beautiful corners for taking pictures. There are many beautiful architectures, starting from the front of the temple.

'Wat Muen Tum', a temple with beautiful arch architecture
#Beautiful temple Wat Muen Tum is another temple in the central area of Chiang Mai that is beautiful and attractive to visit, from the moment you see the beautiful arch architecture. When you go there, as usual, I would like to tell the spiritualists that you must not miss it because there is a statue of Thao Wessuwan for you to worship and ask for blessings. Don't worry about the garlands of offerings because the temple has everything available. Just bring your intentions and the blessings you want to ask for.
In addition, inside the temple, there are also sacred twin brothers in the Mara-Vijaya posture for you to worship according to the prayers that will help grant blessings from the Buddha of good fortune and the Buddha of prosperity.
If anyone goes to walk on Tha Pae Walking Street on Sunday, you can walk in the Wat Muen Tum area. It is very beautiful.
Open for visits every day from 06.00-18.00 hrs.

The main pagoda of the temple is a white pagoda with recessed corners. At the base, there are Lanna-style lion statues guarding all four corners. The top of the pagoda is decorated with geometric colored glass. The throne is covered with gold sheets. The top is covered with gold and has an umbrella. Wat Muen Tum
Wat Muen Tum was established in 2021 and received the royal charter of the boundary of the temple in 2200 B.E. It was built during the reign of Phraya Kaew. The word "Muen Tum" was originally a nobleman with the title of Muen, named Tum. He had faith in Buddhism, so he brought his relatives, followers, and the faithful people to help build this temple. When the construction was complete, the temple was named after the person who built it. It is said that whenever a new king of the Mangrai Dynasty ascended the throne, he had to go through the Buddha Abhiseka water pouring ceremony first. The ceremony was held at three important temples. The king had to wear white clothes, which was done at Wat Pha Khao. Then he went through the bad luck warding off ceremony at Wat Muen Tum and ended with the water pouring ceremony at the pond of Wat Chet Lin.

See the lanterns | Wat Muen Tum | Chiang Mai
Wat Muen Tum is located on Phra Pok Klao Road, Phra Singh Subdistrict, Mueang Chiang Mai District. It is another temple in the old city of Chiang Mai with a long history. Although it is now just a small temple that few people know about, in the past, this temple was very important as one of the places where the Buddha image was poured into water for the King of Chiang Mai during the Mangrai Dynasty. Every king of Chiang Mai had to wear white at Wat Pha Khao, which is nearby, for 3 days. Then, they would perform the ceremony to avert bad luck, practice the precepts, and practice Dhamma at Wat Muen Tum for 3 days before performing the water pouring ceremony at Wat Chet Lin, opposite the temple. #TravelingAroundThailand #MissingNature #WaitingForTheDayToTravel #Thailand #SecretCoordinates #NatureTherapy #WinterTravelNorth #TravelNorthWhenTheFlowersBloom #ChiangMaiRainySeason #BeautifulTemplesInThailand #ChiangMaiWorthVisiting #WhereToGoInChiangMai #CheckInEatTravel #Buddhism #HistoricalPlaces #HistoricalPlaces #OldTemplesChiangMai #VisitNorthInTheHotSeason #WhereToGoInTheWinter #WalkAndTakePhotos #AdmireTheBeautyOfNature #Chiang Mai attractions #Worship at 9 temples #Where to go

Worship at Wat Muen Tum | Chiang Mai
Wat Muen Tum is a temple of the Mahanikaya sect, located in Phra Singh Subdistrict, Mueang Chiang Mai District, Chiang Mai Province.

The only twin Buddha statues in Chiang Mai
#Chiangmai in the rainy season Wat Muen Tum, the temple, is an original Lanna architecture. It is a low temple with a layered roof. The main structure is made of wood, but the walls are plastered with cement. The front of the temple is decorated with beautiful golden patterns. The pediment is like a horse, which shows the ancient identity of Lanna architecture.
In addition, there are two Buddha images in the main hall. The villagers like to call them the twin Buddha images. One Buddha image is called "Phra Phuttha Chok" and the other Buddha image is called "Phra Phuttha Mang Mi Sri Suk". They are next to the main Buddha images in the hall.

The only temple with two principal Buddha images in the same chapel.
Wat Muen Tum stands out from the entrance. It is a small but very beautiful temple and has quite a bit of importance. It is one of the three temples used for the bathing ceremony of the king who rules Chiang Mai. The king who rules Chiang Mai must wear white for 3 days before performing the bathing ceremony at Wat Chet Lin, which is opposite the temple. If you pass by, you must stop by. It is in the center of the city. Just a little past Wat Chedi Luang, you will find it. Go straight to Chiang Mai Gate. The temple gate is prominent and easy to find. The temple's viharn is built in a low Lanna style with a layered roof. The back structure is made of wood. The ordination hall has two layers of roofs. The pagoda of Wat Muen Tum is a white pagoda with recessed corners. At the base, there are Lanna-style lion statues guarding all four corners. The top of the pagoda is decorated with colored glass in a geometric pattern. The throne at the corner is covered with gold leaf. This temple is famous for being the only temple in Chiang Mai with two sibling principal Buddha images (Phra Phuttha Chok - Phra Phuttha Mangmi Sri Suk) side by side in the same viharn. Hurry and come to Jomporn. I believe you will get double luck. This is one of the charms of the temple. It is a peaceful temple, not many people, and parking is very limited. #Beautiful temple in Chiang Mai #Beautiful place to take pictures #Make merit and worship Buddha

Worship Thao Wessuwan to eliminate bad things at 'Wat Muen Tum'
#Mu travel destinations Thao Wessuwan is another sacred figure in the Mu trend that must be worshipped to prevent bad things from entering life or to eliminate invisible bad things that make life confusing with hardships and sadness. In addition, it also helps with luck and money.
If anyone is interested in this line, you can go to worship and ask for blessings at Wat Muen Tum. The temple has incense, candles, flowers for worship and complete services. We just need to prepare ourselves to be relaxed, have concentration, mindfulness, and a steady mind when asking for blessings.
Location: Wat Muen Tum is in Chiang Mai city, opposite Wat Tedi Luang. It is open to visitors every day from 5:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Wat Muen Tum วัดหมื่นตูม วัดหมื่นตูม
The wat muen tum is over 500 years old .
the most interesting feature of this wat, to me, is the front wall, which has some of the most dramatic and elaborate sculpture I've seen. The tongues of the dragons actually have saliva dripping from them, and the mirror work on the peacock tails are exquisite. The electric wires in front spoil the view somewhat .if you can catch it at night when the lights are on it's amazing.
