One of the most beautiful unseen tourist attractions in Thailand
When Isan kids want to travel to a mountain in the north that is not well-known to tourists, let's just say they get lost, gasp for air, and fall to their knees 🤣
📌 Location: Wat Phra That Doi Ngum, Lamphun Province
Review: Nature tourism, a running route with a beautiful view that is ranked at the top...🍀
See a high angle view of Chiang Mai, including Doi Suthep. The route is 42.3 kilometers from Chiang Mai city.
It takes about 1 hour to travel through San Kamphaeng District.
⛰️Doi Ngum is quite steep, so tourists don't like to travel there.
In the past, cars couldn't go up at all, but now the villagers have helped to renovate the route. I want everyone to go, it's really beautiful.
Now there is a concrete road mixed with gravel. 🏍️The only vehicles that can go up should be 4-wheeled four-wheel drive vehicles only. And the driver must be really skilled at driving because the road is very steep and scary. If it's a motorcycle, it should be a dirt bike or a car with gears.
Personally, I drove a new 1-year-old Filano 125 cc, alternating walking, pulling, and walking up some parts because I read the reviews and prepared myself to walk. The road is steep and very narrow. Cars can't pass each other, so I have to stop. Let me tell you, at the sharp curve, I jumped out of the car without thinking about my life. It was really crazy 🤣🤣🤣 The distance is more than 4 kilometers for the car route from the point where there is a sign warning that the road is steep. Let me tell you, if I had known, I would have walked up because I had to pull the car and walk up the mountain. Oh my!
📍If you drive and don't want to encounter a sharp elbow coke, there will be a warning sign first. If you can't handle it, walk up. Drive to the parking lot and you can walk up the mountain. The distance is about 1 kilometer. The road is quite steep.
For those who are interested in walking up the mountain Without driving up, it took about 3 hours round trip, the distance is 11 kilometers (I repeat, 11 kilometers). Practice your legs well, hehe 🤣🫶🏻
