Wat Phra Non Chaksi Worawihan
Wat Phra Non Chaksi Worawihan, Singburi Province
👍It is assumed that this temple was built before Ayutthaya was the capital. Inside the temple is a large reclining Buddha statue. It has a beautiful Sukhothai style Buddha image, measuring 47 meters and 42 centimeters long. The face faces north and the head faces east. Inside the temple are Phra Khan, a gilded stone Buddha image, and Phra Kaew, a molded Buddha image sitting in a diamond meditation posture, built during the reign of King Rama V. Both of these images have beautiful Buddha images. In the past, they were used as the principal Buddha images for the royal oath-taking ceremony for government officials.
🦁According to legend, there was a wealthy man who had a beautiful daughter who was famous for her wife, a skilled weaver. She had a golden shuttle that was very valuable to the daughter. When the golden shuttle went missing, the daughter of the wealthy man said that if anyone could return the golden shuttle, he would marry her. Unexpectedly, a lion suddenly brought the golden shuttle to the daughter of the wealthy man, so she had to reluctantly go live with the lion. The lion took the daughter of the wealthy man. Back in his cave in Singha City, time passed. The daughter of the rich man had a son with Singha, a boy named Singha Pahu. Singha loved his son very much and took him out all the time. Until the villagers knew that Singha Pahu was Singha Pahu's son. His friends often teased Singha Pahu that he was an animal's son. This made Singha Pahu feel ashamed, hated his father, and thought of killing him. Until finally, Singha Pahu killed his father. 🦁 Later, Singha Pahu became the lord of Singha City. He felt sorry for the wrong he had done, so he built a large reclining Buddha statue, which later was called "Phra Non Chaksi" and the place was called "Sarabap Sap". This reclining Buddha statue had been worshipped for many generations until the Buddha statue collapsed into a mound. Later, Thao U Thong brought a cart merchant to see it. He was impressed and saw the benefits of religion. So he invited the cart merchant to build this Buddha statue again. He used the gold bars found as the core of the Buddha statue as before.

Worship the temple of the city's most important temple for the people of Singha.
The atmosphere inside the temple is shady. It is a large temple with many places for monks to organize activities, including a place for meditation. And what is indispensable is praying because 20 years ago, I had the opportunity to come and worship here. And when I was in trouble, I thought of him and received a surprisingly good prayer. I recommend you come. #Worship and ask for blessings #Singburi #Worship Singburi

There is a big market at Wat Pho in Singburi
#Thailand Attractions
There are relatively few foreign tourists in Singburi, Shinburi, and those who go there are generally locals. In fact, it is not too far, about two hours or so drive north of Bangkok, which you can try on your next drive across the continent.
Wat Phra Non Chak Si Worawihan is the local Wat Pho, although not as famous as Wat Pho and the Buddha is not too big, but is called the largest in the area. Also dedicated to Luang Pho To, familiar Buddhist amulets will know this master.
It doesn't matter if you don't like walking around the temple, because there is a big market where you can have lunch and buy souvenirs. There is a stall of fried pork skin and salted fish sauce, which is famous. There is also salted lemon, which is a big bottle of HK$10. I really want to take it back to Hong Kong. Lunch ate beef boat noodles, satay, their D sauce sauce is specially made, different from outside.
