Phra Sri Ariya Temple
There is a golden chapel worth a hundred million baht. The chapel is in the style of late Ayutthaya art, decorated with stucco patterns, murals of the Mahajanaka, the Ten Lives of the Five Kings, and the principal Buddha image in the chapel is a Burmese style Mara-Vijaya Buddha image made entirely of white jade, brought from the Republic of the Union of Myanmar. In addition, there is a pair of Buddha images at the temple, namely Phra Si Ariya, an ancient Buddha image in the style of Phra Si Ariya, which has distinctive features: a palm leaf fan in front of the Buddha image, and pleated robes similar to Buddha images from the Gandhara period. #WinterAttractions #WatPhraSiAriya
