Later, the villagers helped to renovate it to use as a place for making merit together. The art of the temple is in the style of Chiang Rai folk art, designed and built by Sala Nok, which took 11 years to complete. The temple is decorated in blue tones, representing the Buddha's teachings that spread throughout the world. It is a teaching that has reason and logic, like a bright sky. The contemporary art style is imbued with Dharma. In front of the temple is a graceful and beautiful Naga in the style of Lanna art.
