Wat Sri Komkham, Phayao Province
It is a third-class royal temple, enshrining the Buddha image of the Lanna Kingdom, “Phra Chao Ton Luang”, a gilded stucco Buddha image in the Mara-Vijaya attitude, Chiang Saen art style, the largest in the North, with a lap width of 14 meters and a height of 16 meters, built between 2034-2067. Interesting things in the temple include the Ubosot in the middle of the water, Lanna art style in a modified style, located on the edge of Kwan Phayao. Inside the Ubosot, there are beautiful and intricate murals.
