#summerdream
Wat Sri Rong Muang, originally named Wat Tha Khan Noi Burma, was built in 1900 by Pho Tao Chong Ta Ka In Ta, a Shan tycoon. Inside the temple, there is a golden teak chapel, the most beautiful in Lampang Province, which took 7 years to build, from 1905 to 1912. It is a wooden chapel with a gable roof layered in small layers, with 9 spires in Burmese art style. There is also interesting Burmese art, especially in the decoration of every pillar in the chapel, which uses glass with alternating colors and gold patterns from the base of the pillar to the tip. This is another beautiful and interesting temple to visit.
