Amazing temple in the border of thai-myanmar
I had crossed Myanmar- Thailand border to go Thailand by road. This border is located in Myawaddy from Myanmar side and Mae sot in Thailand. I stayed at that temple for a night, near the border side in Thailand. It's a beautiful place to stay and the people from authority were very kind to me. It's near the road side that's why the communication way is so good, I feel lucky to have been there.

Thai Wathanaram Temple 🙏🙏🙏😇
Wat Thai Wattanaram is located in Tambon Tha Sai Lot, Amphoe Mae Sot, Tak Province. It is another beautiful temple in Mae Sot built in the style of Burmese temples, with a dazzling golden yellow color. This temple was originally named “Wat Mae Tao Ngio” or “Wat Tai Yai”. This temple was built in 1857 by Mr. Mung, a Burmese man from Shan State who migrated with his family to live in Mae Sot District and was the first village headman of Mae Tao Village. He was later given the name “Muen At Khamhaenghan”. In 1957, the Ministry of Education announced that this temple was a Buddhist temple under the Department of Religious Affairs. The upper swan is a female swan and the lower one is a male swan because there is a legend that the city inscribed in Mon language says “When the Lord Buddha arrived in this land, he saw two golden swans playing in the water and predicted that in the future this city would become a metropolis called “Hongsawadi City”. After that, the land where the two golden swans played in the water became a metropolis and later became the capital. And the story about the two golden swans was added, telling that the swans flew to perch on a small piece of land in the sea. This piece of land was so small that the female had nowhere to perch and had to perch on the back of the male swan.
Mahamuni Temple The roof is a square shape with many levels, each level decorated with different patterns according to Burmese art. The base of the roof of the temple is decorated with small pagodas all around. Inside the Mahamuni Temple is the enshrined Phra Phuttha Mahamuni, a large Buddha statue in the Mara-Vijaya attitude, which is a replica of the real Phra Phuttha Mahamuni, which is a sacred Buddha statue of the people of Mandalay, Burma. It is a sacred Buddha statue that the people of Tak Province have a lot of faith in. In addition to Phra Mahamuni, inside the temple are enshrined Buddha statues of various styles, influenced by the Tai Yai art and culture, for worship.

Merit-making in Mae Sot 🎖️ in the western direction
On the big Buddhist holy day, we, the merit-makers, go to the temple. This year, we made merit in Mae Sot, Tak Province.
🛎️Wat Thai Watthanaram is located in Village 1, Tha Sai Lot Subdistrict, Mae Sot District, Tak Province.
⭐️Wat Thai Watthanaram was originally called Wat Mae Tao Ngio or Wat Tai Yai. It is over 100 years old and stands out with its golden temple, golden swan statue, and Konawin pagoda, built in Burmese architecture with intricate and beautiful patterns. It is very elegant and golden.
🛎️🛎️ Our merit-makers arrived at the temple and visited its beauty. Inside the temple, there is the Phra Phuttha Maha Muni, a Buddha statue that is a replica of the sacred Phra Phuttha Maha Muni, a symbol of Mandalay, Burma. It is a sacred Buddha statue that the people of Tak Province have a lot of faith in. 🎖️No matter how hot the weather is, we, the merit-makers, do not give up. We walk around the temple to admire its beauty. At the back of the temple, there is a large reclining Buddha. The length of the reclining Buddha is about 40 meters, enshrined in an open-air chapel. Walk around the temple, make merit according to your faith. Come around and see the God of Promptness. Pray for your wish to be granted immediately. Amen. 🙏

Mae Sot, two cultures
Wat Thai Watthanaram is a well-known temple. It is a temple that people who travel to Mae Sot, Tak Province like to go to worship and make merit.
The temple is very beautiful. The golden color reflects the sunlight beautifully. I recommend going in the morning. The light is beautiful, there are few people, and you can take pictures from every angle. Inside the temple, there is also a Phra That Than Jai. You can go and pray and whisper to him for blessings.
If anyone comes to visit Mae Sot, don't forget to go and make merit. 🙏

Mae Sot Burmese Temple
I came to Mae Sot again on a business trip this time, and brought my friends to visit the Burmese temple here. Although it is still in Thailand, the style of this temple is based on Myanmar, and it is also very beautiful. This is my second visit. There are not many people today, which is not bad. The Luang Pu here is from Myanmar and wears dark red, which is also very good. I think it is quite nice to take pictures and experience the Burmese style.

The Bodhi Tree Watering Ceremony of the Shan People
Every year, there is a Bodhi tree watering ceremony for the Tai Yai people. This year is the year that we joined. Mae Sot District, Tak Province organized a tour. It is a tradition that has been passed down since the generation of our great-grandfathers. We are Mae Sot people who grew up elsewhere. We still don't forget to come back to join the Democrat Party.

I am from
I am from Mae Sot but grew up somewhere else. I have had a few opportunities to come to Mae Sot. This temple is a Thai temple. The architecture is very beautiful. Every time I come here, I feel that I must come to this temple. If I ask for a blessing or pray, everything is perfect. Every time I travel to Mae Sot, I have to come to Wat Thai Watthanaram every time. Personally, I like the Shan culture. I like the way they dress and speak. I feel that they are gentle. The Shan people are gentle. This is my personal feeling.
#Wat Thai Watthanaram, originally named "Wat Mae Tao Ngio" or "Wat Tai Yai", was built in 1857 by Burmese people from Shan State who migrated with their families to live in Mae Sot District.
