📞Hello Hello, I heard it and answered.
Walk from Ekkamai station on the Green Line of the BTS straight to Wat Thatthong.
Wat Thatthong was created by moving Wat Na Phra That and Wat Thong Lang on the banks of the Chao Phraya River because of the construction of the Bangkok Port.
The compensation money was used to buy the land on which the temple was built and the auspicious name from the two original temples was Wat Thatthong.🌟
The temple is spacious, has a large ordination hall, an 84-year-old pagoda, and enshrines many Buddha images in various postures collected from various countries. There are also statues of the Thai kings from the 1st to 9th reigns for worship.

📞Hello Hello, I heard and answered.
Watthatthongphraaramluang is located on Sukhumvit Road and Ekkamai BTS station.
This temple moved its permanent structures from Wat Na Phra That and Wat Thong Lang because the two temples on the banks of the Chao Phraya River were demolished to build Khlong Toei Port.
Later, Her Royal Highness Princess Galyani Vadhana took it under her patronage and granted a new seal.
The important things in the temple are:
✨️Ubosot, enshrining Phra Sappanyu and other Buddha images.
✨️84th Anniversary Chedi, the upper floor enshrines the relics of the Lord Buddha, the lower floor enshrines Buddha images from all over the world and statues of Kings Rama I-IX.
This temple is one of the top places with a large number of cremations.

Wat That Thong, a famous royal temple attraction in Sukhumvit District, Bangkok, is suitable for taking photos and quiet sightseeing
#Bangkok Attractions
Bangkok, Thailand is a world-famous tourist resort city. Thousands of tourists come to Bangkok for sightseeing every day. There are many famous temple attractions in Bangkok. This time I would like to recommend a very famous and beautiful temple in the Sukhumvit area of downtown Bangkok, Wat That Thongวัดธาตุทอง พระอารามหลวง Golden Pagoda Temple.
Wat That Thong is a royal temple located in the Sukhumvit area of Bangkok. Its construction began in 1938 when two historically related temples in other parts of the city (Wat Na Phra That and Wat Thong Lang) were merged into Wat That Thong. On October 24, 1940, King Rama VIII granted the royal land, known as “wisung khama sima”. This event was marked by the presentation of the boundary stone of the Temple. In 2007, Princess Galyani Watthana sponsored the temple and launched a new logo featuring her personal seal and her initials. The ordination hall you see today was built in 1952. It is a royal temple with a lot of historical allusions.
The golden pagoda of the temple building stands solemnly, tall and majestic, and it is very photogenic. The whole temple is quiet and peaceful, without too many tourists. You can come here to calm down and take pictures slowly, away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Bangkok. It is a good spot where you can calm down and visit. The temple is free to visit and no tickets are required.

Pay homage to numerous sacred objects at Wat That Thong.
🏠Wat That Thong, a third-class royal monastery, was established in 1938. It originated from two temples in the Khlong Toei area: Wat Na Phra That and Wat Thong Lang. One of these temples was an ancient temple built during the Ayutthaya period to house the Buddha's relics, while the other was built from a landowner's donation for the family's prosperity.
🏞Later, with the construction of the Bangkok Port, the temple was relocated to its current location.
The interesting and significant features within the temple include:
🛕The Chedi housing the Buddha's relics, relocated from Wat Na Phra That.
🙏🏽The Buddha's relics and a replica of the Kyaiktiyo Pagoda.
🙏🏽Phra Sappanyu, the principal Buddha image in the ordination hall, in the Maravijaya posture.
🧎♂️Phra Phutthachinintorn, another Buddha image in the ordination hall, from the U-Thong period.
🧎♀️A replica of Phra Phutthachinarat, enshrined in the Limpa Phorn Vihara.
🛕The Great Chedi, built to commemorate the 84th birthday of King Bhumibol Adulyadej.
🚄Traveling to the temple is very convenient, whether by private car or public transportation, especially the BTS Skytrain. Get off at Ekkamai Station, Exit 3, on the Wat That Thong side, and walk a short distance to the temple.
