beautiful and historical museum and temple
this place is not as well know as other temples and palaces in that area. we randomly walked into this place during our visit to the democracy monument! from the street, the view is beautiful with the tower and temple. the white Buddha is quite unique. i def feel like this place is overshadowed by other places, it’s a hidden gem, worth visiting and walking around. it has a small prayer hall with 55 Bhikkunis. you should def check out the window and the wall, there are some great works have been done here. and apparently this temple was done by a Chinese designer, which can be noticed from the Chinese design and art here! #tripblazers #bucketlistreboot #mytripvlog

📞Hello Hello, I heard it and answered.
✨️Wat Thepthidaram is located next to Wat Ratchanadda. Its architecture is a mix of Thai and Chinese styles, following the royal preferences during the reign of King Rama III. The first thing we noticed is that the temple roof does not have the gable, raka leaves, and swan's tail like the roofs of general Thai temples. In addition, there are also stucco dolls of people in Chinese and Thai clothing, as well as various animals, which indicate the influence of both cultures.
✨️The principal Buddha image is Phra Phuttha Thewawilas, made of white stone, enshrined in the Vessana Prasat pavilion.
✨️Don't miss the 52 Bhikkhuni Vihara.

One-day tour of the ancient temples and historical buildings in the old city of Bangkok, Thailand, suitable for taking photos📸
#Bangkok Itinerary
Bangkok, Thailand is a world-famous tourist resort city. Every day, thousands of tourists come to Bangkok for sightseeing and vacation. There are many historical sites, temples and architectural attractions in the old town in the center of Bangkok. This time we will introduce a one-day tour itinerary for Bangkok’s old town. You don’t need to buy tickets for all the attractions, you can visit and take photos for free📸. You need to take off your shoes when entering the temple building.
Itinerary introduction: First take public transportation or a taxi to Sao Chingcha เสาชิงช้า. After getting off the bus, we arrived at the first attraction: Devasthan (Brahmin Shrines) เทวสถานสำหรับพระนคร (โบสถ์พราหมณ์) Brahmin Temple. Built in 1784, it was used as a venue for Brahmin and Jain ceremonies. Triyampavai ceremony, Tripavai ceremony and Konchuk ceremony. The temple consists of 3 Thai-style brick-concrete buildings, divided into 1. The Shiva Temple is on the left side, where there is a statue of Shiva standing in the center of the base presiding over the meeting. The lowered platform it houses seated images of Umadevi, Brahma and Shiva and there are statues of Kondi on both sides of the altar. 2. The building in the middle is the Mahavi Ganeshwara (Ganesha) Temple 3. The building on the right is the Panarai Temple. The temple's architectural decoration and structure are exquisite and very photogenic. After visiting this attraction, we came to the ancient building square next to it: Lan Khon Mueang ลานคนเมือง. The city square has a history of hundreds of years. Next to it is the old city hall building, which is a European Gothic art-style building. It is tall, majestic and spectacular. The entire square is very large, and taking photos 📸 is definitely a great way to get some great photos. After visiting the square, continue walking about one kilometer to the last attraction: Wat Thep Thidaram Worawihan วัดเทพธิดารามวรวิหาร. This temple was built in the Ayutthaya era in the early Siamese dynasty. It has gone through hundreds of years of history. It is a veritable historical monument temple and a third-level royal temple. The temple building is tall and majestic, and the exterior decorative structure is full of Siamese cultural and artistic style design. It is exquisite and photogenic. There are not many tourists in the temple, it is quiet and peaceful, suitable for meditation alone. There are public toilets and chairs for tourists to rest in the temple.

【Wat Thepthidaram Woraviharn】
Opening hours: 9:00-18:00
Address: 70 Maha Chai Rd, Samran Rat, Phra Nakhon, Bangkok 10200 Thailand
Admission fee: None
Bangkok, a major tourist destination, is crowded with tourists everywhere.
However, this temple is located in a prime location behind the famous Pad Thai restaurant, Thipsamai, but it is always deserted because of the famous Golden Temple, Wat Saket, nearby.
Despite being a weekend afternoon, it was completely empty, and you can enjoy the majestic and beautiful main hall and pagoda all to yourself.
In the temple grounds, stray cats are napping or wandering around freely, so if you are tired of the crowds and want to be healed, be sure to visit this temple.

📞Hello Hello, I heard and answered. In Thailand, if any temple is built by a woman or built for a woman, it often has architectural symbols hidden in it.
For Watthidaram, King Rama III built it for Krommuen Apsarasudathep, his eldest daughter.
If you look closely, the pediment of the ordination hall is decorated with glazed tiles in the pattern of a pair of swans. According to Chinese beliefs, swans represent noble women.
Inside the temple, there is also a tin-cast shrine with 52 statues of nuns, the only one in Thailand.

📞Hello Hello, I heard it and replied.
In Phra Nakhon District, there are many important temples, but the temple that creates a sense of beauty, grace, and deep inner peace must be Watthidaram.
This temple was built by King Nangklao for his eldest daughter, Krommuen Apsarasudathep. It was originally called Wat Phraya Krai Suan Luang.
This temple must be credited with outstanding craftsmanship. The buildings inside the temple give a gentle feeling, as expected from a building built for women.
The pediment of the chapel is decorated with a pair of swans.
The principal Buddha image is Phra Phuttha Thewawilas, carved from pure white stone, enshrining a beautiful Vejyantha Buabok fiber that is beyond description.

📞Hello Hello, I heard and answered.
Throughout the reign of King Rama III, he restored and renovated many temples, but he built only 3 temples: Wat Bowonniwet, Wat Ratchanadda and Wat Thepthidaram. Things to see
✨️The Ubosot, art style of King Rama III, on the left is the Vihara, on the right is the Sala Karn Parian, enshrining Phra Phuttha Thewawilas or Luang Pho Khao.
✨️The Vihara of Bhikkhunis, the only one in the world, has a group of 52 nuns who received the Ekthattha, cast in tin, in various postures, while listening to a sermon, with Phra Nang Prajapati Kotami Theri, the first nun, presiding.
It is believed that if you want to do any work with women smoothly, you should come and pay respect here.

I was impressed by the magnificent Thai Buddhist temple Wat Thepthidaram! As soon as you enter the temple, the gorgeous golden decorations and exquisite Buddha statues make you feel a strong religious atmosphere, as if you are in a sacred space. 🌟🙏
The environment around the temple is quiet and surrounded by trees, which makes people feel peaceful. Walking along the paths of the temple, I could hear the gentle sound of Buddhist scriptures, which made me feel an inner peace and harmony. 🍃🎶
Admiring the surrounding beauty and works of art in the temple courtyard allowed me to reflect on myself and feel the beauty of life. 🌸❤️
