Visit the Silver Pool Temple in Sukhothai, Thailand
#Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand City Attractions #Sukhothai #Thailand
Wat Traphang Ngoen, also translated as "Silver Pond Temple", is located in the central area of Sukhothai Historical Park, not far to the west of the most famous "Wat Mahathat".
There is a pond to the east of Yintang Temple, which may be the reason why it is translated as "Yintang Temple". In the pond, there are red water lilies that can be seen everywhere in Sukhothai Park, and there are yellow trumpet trees on the nearby trees, all of which are blooming very beautifully. All that remains of Yintang Temple now are the temple base, red clay columns, the pagoda and the seated Buddha statue; the face of the Buddha statue can still be clearly seen.
