Wat Yan Sangwararam has a total area of 366 rai, 2 ngan, 11 square wa. The first land on which the temple was built was donated by Dr. Khajor and Khunying Nithiwadi Ontakarn in 1976. Later, Khunying Nithiwadi and her family donated more land. The construction team, disciples, and devotees of Somdej Phra together purchased more land around the area until the current area was reached. This does not include the area of the royal projects and projects initiated by His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej, which is around 2,500 rai. Within the area, there are various religious buildings, including the Ubosot, the Maha Chakri Pipat Chedi, the Maha Mondop Phutthabat, the B.P.R., the S.K., the S.W., the S.M.W., the S.P.H., the S.S.P.S., the S.P.S., the S.P.P.S., the S.P.P.P.A.R. and the Ariyakarn, the replica of the Buddha Gaya Chedi. The Phra Sri Ariya Maitreya Temple, including Phra Phuttha Maha Wachira Uttamo Phassada at Khao Chi Chan, are also considered to be in the Phuttavas area. For the religious buildings and structures in the Phuttavas area, His Holiness intended to build them to honor and pay homage to the past great kings, King Naresuan the Great, King Taksin the Great, including King Rama IX and all members of the Chakri Dynasty.
