On the return trip, you could take the Guilin High Speed ​​Rail to West Kowloon. But mainland train tickets are too hard to get, and it happens to be the Tomb-Sweeping Day. Finally, we will go from West Kowloon to Guilin, then transfer to Yangshuo, return to Guilin to Shenzhen North, and then return to Hong Kong via the Lok Mazhou Metro. This park is located near famous place West Street. It is not so large, you can spend there around 30 min. There is one pagoda and some sculptures. Rosewood Café and Restaurant can be found smack in the middle of the renowned West Street in Yangshuo,Guilin. The environment is clean, the meals are reasonably priced and the taste is also very good. We stayed in Yangshuo for 3 days and on both nights we went to West street to have dinner ! They have great western and Chinese restaurants! Too 2 would be - Rosewood and Wood fire Pizza ! They also have tons of little shops to buy trinkets and snacks ! I throughly enjoyed the shopping experience and even picked up some tea from a shop that has a Llama infront of it ! West Street is an old street with a long history. The locals call it as a foreigner street as there are more foreigners. You will find mainly tourists and young adults, especially at night. The area is highly commercialised. There are International cafes like KFC and Starbucks that are crowded. The other shops are mainly local eateries, restaurants ,souvenirs and fashion.If you like shopping and eating it will probably take half a day. It is less crowded during the day but more vibrant at night. You will find the street lit with neon lights and road side stalls outside the street screaming of bargains to draw crowds.

The first thing you should do when you get to Yangshuo is check out West Street. It has everything you need, from bars, shops, restaurants, photo-studios to travel agents who can help you book all your activities during your stay if that’s what you’re into! You can also rent ebikes and gas bikes to get you around Yangshuo. I highly recommend this as it just makes your entire experience more authentic. There is plenty of western food available and some really good pizza joints and of course loads of Chinese food and local food like Beer Fish available. As you walk along the streets you will notice lots of venders selling dresses and shirts and some fake tattoos artists too! There are plenty of hotels and hostels around here though I highly recommend staying outside of the city.
