ถนนคนเดินวัวลาย:Wua Lai Walking Street
Atmosphere... Night market that opens only on Saturday evenings!! This street is home to an old silverware community, located near Chiang Mai city gate. It is another check-in point in Chiang Mai that tourists and Chiang Mai locals like to visit.
Wualai Walking Street is smaller than Thapae Walking Street. The entire street is about 1.1 kilometers long, which is just right, not too short or too long. You can walk leisurely, easily, without having to turn left or right. It is a straight path, so you can walk all the way to the end of the street.
If you ask if it is tiring?? I don't feel it 🤣🤣 Because along the way, there are many things for sale, whether it is souvenirs, food, souvenirs, silverware, and local products that you can shop and taste until you forget how tired you are. Plus, the prices are not expensive.
For those who miss Wualai Walking Street on Saturday, go for a leisurely walk at Thapae Walking Street. Sunday is also possible! 😍 There are so many things for sale
🎯 : Wualai Road, Phra Singh Subdistrict, Mueang Chiang Mai District, Chiang Mai 50100
⏰️ : Open every Saturday from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM

En Chiangmai ร้านอาหารญี่ปุ่นขนานแท้
Address: Walking Street Wualai
Atmosphere/Location: 8/10
Highlights: Cold Lemon Soba
Average price per person: 200++
Score: 9/10
En Chiangmai, a Japanese restaurant run by a real Japanese person. I can't speak clearly at all. The restaurant is located on Wualai Road, next to Tu Lu Restaurant.
The recommended menu is the Cold Lemon Soba. It has a well-rounded sour taste. It is very refreshing. In addition, there are authentic Japanese menus such as small fish fried with salt, sweet eggs stuffed with fish, fish eggs, grilled scallops, very delicious, grilled beef with a little fat, very delicious. The restaurant is air-conditioned. There are both table and floor seating, as well as a counter bar. It gives the atmosphere of eating in Japan. Each menu may take a long time to prepare. It is recommended to call in advance.

[Wua Lai Pedestrian Street] A market street where locals and travelers cross paths on Saturday nights in Chiang Mai
Wua Lai Street, located on the south side of Chiang Mai's Old Town, becomes a pedestrian paradise every Saturday evening and is crowded with people as "Wua Lai Walking Street"!
It is more local than the famous Sunday Market (Thapae Gate side) in Chiang Mai, and is not too crowded, so you can leisurely shop and eat while walking around.
⸻

Every Saturday from 17:00 to 22:00
※It is often held even on rainy days
📍【Location】
Wua Lai Street (south side of the Old Town)
・Starts in front of the famous silver temple "Wat Srisuphan"
・A short walk from Chiang Mai Gate
⸻
✨【What's fun here! 】
・Lots of handmade goods, accessories, ethnic items, and other souvenirs that are perfect for souvenirs!
・There are also plenty of local gourmet food stalls! A lineup that will make you dizzy, including Khao Soi, skewers, fried bananas, and coconut ice cream
・It's relatively relaxed, so families and solo travelers can enjoy it with peace of mind
・The illuminated silver temple of Wat Si Suphan, located halfway down the street, is also worth seeing!
⸻
💡【Recommended ways to enjoy】
・If you start after 5pm, you can go around while it's still light and not too hot◎

Dayin Street-Saturday Walking Street
#JanuaryGoodPlaces2025
According to legend, when the King of Chiang Mai established his capital, silversmiths and masters of making Buddha statues were invited from Chiang Rai to gather here. In addition, this avenue was an important trade route in and out of Chiang Mai in the past. The entire street was lined with silver shops, forming a "silver village". These shops all traded in cash and prices were negotiable. However, good times did not last forever. The once prosperous Silver Street now has only about 10 shops left. There are even fewer businesses that actually have silversmiths stationed in their stores, and many of them only sell factory wholesale accessories. There is still a cement cow statue in the middle of the street, which serves as a symbol of the cow that carried goods at the time, witnessing the glorious era of the past.
Although Dayin Street is in decline, fortunately the pedestrian street is open on Saturdays on Dayin Street. Many vendors set up stalls here, which also attracts crowds of people. The street, which stretches nearly 1 km south from the junction of Wualai Rd. and Chang Lor Rd., has been crowded with people since around 4:00 p.m. Due to the large population, the prices and goods sold by vendors are more interesting and cheaper than those at the tourist night market. Some young people design their own goods and set up stalls. Basic items such as vests and northern Thai-style handkerchiefs are priced very low. Only the price of handmade silver jewelry remains at the established level.

#CafeReview
• Address
The shop is located on Wualai Road.
The shop is located opposite the turn before reaching Nantharam Chicken Rice.
⏰ 10.30-14.30 and 16.30-22:00
• Atmosphere/Location
The shop front is on Wualai Road.
It is a 2-storey wooden house.
The main menu here focuses on dumplings.
Recently, they added a Xiao Long Bao menu.
(The highlight is that there is a Chinese chef from Qingdao, Shandong Province)
who makes it himself.
When you sit down, the owner (Chinese)
will come to take your order in English.
(If you can speak Chinese, you can speak it.)
But the menu also has English and pictures.
We can take drinks from the cabinet.
The menu has many original Chinese dishes.
But today, we are hunting for
"Xiao Long Bao and Coke Fried Chicken".
Plus, there are Chinese peppers and condiments on the table.
• Highlight
The Xiao Long Bao soup is delicious.
Authentic Chinese Chef
• Average price per person - 100 baht and up

Wua Lai Street Night Market in Chiang Mai, Thailand - Saturday only
When you come to Chiang Mai, Thailand, you must not miss the night market here
The night market here is very grand, with the entire block set up as stalls.
The night market on Wua Lai Street is every Saturday.
The night market stretches one kilometer from Chiang Mai Gate.
There are also stalls in the empty spaces on both sides of the alleys.
The vacant lots and alley branches are more like the concept of a food court
The food area is equipped with trash cans, which is very convenient and clean.
When you come here, you must experience the style of the Thai night market
