🌟 Enjoy shopping and gourmet food at Yaowarat (Chinatown) in Bangkok!
Yaowarat, Bangkok's Chinatown, is a charming place with a diverse atmosphere😁!! It's an interesting area that has a hint of China even though it's in Bangkok✌
There are plenty of spots to see, such as food stalls, restaurants, and wholesale markets.
I especially found a cute ring at the wholesale market and bought it♡
There's a high chance of finding a bargain❣️
This is definitely an area I recommend for those who want to enjoy shopping and gourmet food🤭
✱There are many cheap hotels around here, so it's recommended for those who want to save money🧡

Chinatown Paradise
#bangkoktrip Yaowarat is one of my favorite places to visit every time I fly to Bangkok. There are lots of amazing things you can do here. From the morning market, to the delicious food at the food street, to the many temples along the way. The morning market is always crowded with people and tuk tuk. There are few hotels along the street where you can stay the next time you visit Bangkok. After a long tiring walk, I would like to visit the Chinese restaurant to have a bowl of bird nests. They are very popular over there. Also buying some dried herbs to make into herbal tea to drink. Apart from there, there are shops selling souvenirs and snacks where you can bring them back to your family and friends. I will strongly recommend this place to everyone. The location is at yaowarat. You can take the mrt train and alight at wat mangkon station. #tripblazers

Wat Kanma Century Temple
The Wat Kanma Tuyaram (Wat Yo Khan Tue) is located at 800 Mangkon Road, Samphanthawong, Khet Samphanthawong, Bangkok 10100, Thailand.
The temple closes in the evening. You can take a MRT and alight at the Wat Mangkon station. Take a 7 minute walk to read the Wat Kanma temple. The temple is built with lots of Guan ying statues. For Guan Ying worshippers, you may want to visit the temple. Though the temple is not big, they have a rich history of more than 150 years.
Along the way, there are shops that sell Chinese herbs. You can purchase dried hibiscus flowers or blue peas flowers, to be made into herbal tea. Just a few minutes ahead, you would reach a mall with a lotus supermarket and few restaurants.

A hidden cafe on Yaowarat Road
HUFU CAFE (Hufu Cafe)
While walking and eating, I felt like eating something sweet. I found this shop in a small alley, not too far from the sign.
There are many hot and cold drink menus to choose from. Inside the shop, there are 3 floors. The top floor is a white area with paintings for taking pictures.
If you see a tiger (a painting on the wall), you have found the shop.

The whole town is Chinese ☺︎ It was Chinese New Year so many people came to visit the temple!
There are Chinese restaurants and stylish cafes, so it's fun no matter how many times you go. Next time I want to go to Yaowarat at night.

I took a free boat from Asiatique to Siam Station. I was very impressed to be able to see the night view of Bangkok while riding the boat. I enjoyed eating my way around Yaowarat Road. When I went to the Japanese Ossuary, I was able to talk to a Japanese monk who was dispatched from Kongobu-ji Temple in Mount Koya.

Yaowarat a
Yaowarat area is the largest Chinese community in Thailand. The Chinese traded with Thai people since the reign of King Rama I, which is centered around the royal pier. While the construction of Yaowarat Road has not begun Until the road was built during the reign of King Rama V to promote trade And please be graciously graciously graciously named "Yaowarat Road" (Yaowarat Road). Currently, Yaowarat is widely known as the largest gold trading center in Thailand And is a destination for foodies Because Yaowarat in the daytime, you can only look at gold shops, Chinese herbal shops, fruits and Chinese restaurants. But if visiting Yaowarat Road will become a paradise for foodies Because both sides of the road will be full of various restaurants Both Chinese food, seafood, including sweets and beverages.

Ambience/Location - Yaowarat at night, there are a lot of people. I didn't think there would be this many people. There are policemen who will wave cars to cross, very safe, very impressive. There are a lot of food, more than a hundred shops. During this time, there are Chinese New Year offerings and cheongsams for sale.

chinatown sacred tour (and yummy hopping)
Bangkok chinatown is always famous for food and temple. it is impossible to leave yourself hungry in this area.
Every new year, it is a must-do activity to go to Leng Nei Yi temple for good luck. however, this year, due to the pandemic situation, lucky souvenir is not available.
after temple, we filled our tummy with delicious duck noodle soup near the temple side exit. it is the first time I tried this shop. meat and everything is just nice. I will definitely revisit.
in the evening, I saw Dek Somboon shop which i wanna try its dark soya sauce soft serve for a long time. luckily, it is available! it tasted like salted caramel ice cream. luv it! My friend tried plum sherbet flavour which is very refreshing.
there are much more food and dessert to explore in this area.
until next time...

[Bangkok] Here's where to find handicrafts
#0yentripnovember
Grandparents living in Bangkok
If you want to buy handicrafts, this is the place to go!
Fabric is also available at a price you wouldn't think of in Japan
Others
Bead accessory parts
Thread, cotton... you can get all the handmade items here!
⚠️As you can see in the third picture,
it's super crowded with people, so be careful with your luggage!
---
Sampaeng continues on from Ratchawong Road, the main street leading to the pier. There are many shops selling auxiliary materials for handicrafts, and it is an area that Japanese wives often visit to buy materials for handmade crafts. Fabrics and ribbons can be purchased from 1m or 1 yard, and buttons and beads can be purchased in small quantities, so it's easy to buy, and there is a wide variety, so it's fun for those who like handicrafts! Many stores open early in the morning, but close at 5pm. Also, be careful as there are a lot of pickpockets. (from womBangkok)

[Thailand Sweets Tour] a) Pink Rabbit + Bob
If you head south from Yaowarat Road in Chinatown towards the river and walk along Scrap Metal Street, you will see new and stylish individual shops popping up one after another, which is fun to just look at.
This is a cafe on such a fashionable street. It's hard to satisfy your craving for sweets in Thailand, so I stopped here for coffee and cake and was very soothed☺️
The cakes are about 800 yen, but they seem to be homemade, and they also serve Mariage Freres tea, so this is a shop that is particular about its selection. There are many sweets on the menu, so it's fun to decide what to choose!
The interior of the store is very elaborate, with an antique feel, and any angle is picturesque. The toilet is so cute that it makes you feel like Alice in Wonderland😍

Raw marinated crabs
When you’re visiting Bangkok, be sure to head to Yaowarat (Bangkok’s Chinatown) to try some Thai style raw marinated crabs!
There’s a long line of queue at this place but things move quite quickly, with a station to order and a station to bag and prepare the sauce.
Pro tip: If you’re looking for a place to eat immediately, find a random local store and offer to buy something from that store so you can sit and enjoy yr crabs

I went to Chinatown in Bangkok. I wasn't planning on going there originally, but the hotel was nearby and I had some time, so I went and found it to be much bigger and busier than I had imagined. There were a lot of food stalls and it was cheap.

Take a break and sip coffee in the old capital
Walk around Yaowarat, a charming street with a retro feel.
The hot weather is not good. You have to stop by a cool coffee shop decorated with classic antiques and indoor plants, giving it a very classy vibe.
The shop has a variety of menus. You can try dirty coffee, plus delicious pastries and cakes. Most importantly, the cocoa here is very strong.
You may have to rely on public transportation because there is no parking, but we are not afraid because we plan to walk around Yaowarat anyway.
Price is around 120-300 baht.
