Luoyang Yingtianmen South Square is the core area of the Sui and Tang Luoyang City Ruins Park. It is located at the site of the south gate of Ziwei City. Relying on the thousand-year history and the concept of modern cultural tourism integration, it shows the harmonious coexistence of the prosperous Tang Dynasty atmosphere and ecological landscape. The square is dominated by the Yingtianmen Ruins Museum. The restored city gate building complex is arranged in an "A" shape, with a broad and solemn base. The Jinshui River and four stone bridges in front of the gate cross it, forming a lively scene of clear water reflecting the city tower. The South Square is not only a site protection and display area, but also a popular landmark for Hanfu enthusiasts to take ancient style photos. On the east side of the square stands the "Where the Japanese Envoys to the Sui and Tang Visited the Capital" monument, which was jointly established by Sino-Japanese Friendship Groups and witnessed the glorious history of foreign cultural exchanges during the Sui and Tang Dynasties. Surrounded by green plants on both sides of the moat, together with the giant red and green peony sculptures, the imperial city lights and other elements, a visual picture of "clear water and red clouds". As a hub connecting Mingtang Paradise, Jiuzhou Pond and other scenic spots, South Square is an important window for tourists to experience the culture of the prosperous Tang Dynasty and the charm of the ancient capital.
