Sardinia, Italy 🏝️Sunshine and Beaches
I have been to many sea islands, but like Sardinia just a glance has taken my mind!
✅About Sardinia:
The second largest island in Italy after Sicily
The island is dotted with 7,000 unique prehistoric megalithic fort sites
There are endless coastlines, pure blue waters, white/pink sandy beaches
✅Transportation:
✈ Fly to Sardinia from major cities within Italy, landing airports are Cagliari, Olbia and Algelo
🚢If you want to travel to Sardinia by boat, you can head to the main port from Rome, Naples or Alexandria
✅ Main photo spots:
📍Pink Beach | Spiaggia Rosa
Spiaggia Rosa Beach is one of the only places on earth with pink sand, the pink sand nestled with the azure clear waters in fantastic beauty
📍Cala Luna |
Charming Calaluna has crisp white sandy beaches, gorgeous caves, and clear turquoise waters. The water here is perfect for snorkeling, with some snorkeling areas suitable for visitors of all ages
📍Olbia | Olbia
Olbia is an ancient city with a long history that became an important port in Roman times. It is now home to Sardinia’s airport and port, and it has some of Sardinia’s most famous, and also clearest, sandy beaches
📍Cala Gonon
Cala Gonone is a small, very safe coastal town in southeastern Sardinia, with a high quality of tourists. The main thing is that the beach of the jelly sea is not crowded like private beaches
📍Cala mariolu
It’s too beautiful here, super invincible to recommend, and you can dive. No reservation is required here, probably 50 euros per person for 30 minutes, including underwater photography and video recording. They will also take you to a depth of 3 meters, if the ears can not stand it can reach 1~2 meters.

⚠Travel Tips:
1. Some road signs are painted, self-driving, easy to find the road, and the road is not very open, many roads are very narrow
2. Some beaches have limited flow, reservations and other regulations, to understand in advance
3. In cala gonone be sure to rent a boat to go out to sea for a whole day, have many shores to dock, and enjoy sailing on your own
4. Be sure to bring food, water and snorkeling goggles on board the boat (you can feed the sardines in the sea).
5. Before going to sea, be sure to check the weather and wind. When the wind is strong, the waves can be more than one meter high, which will affect the sea plan
6. Bring sunscreen, a hat and sunglasses during the strong summer sun
