Umaka: A Yakiniku Restaurant That Grills Your Meat for You
From the moment you see the exterior of Umaka, it feels like you've been transported to Japan. Umaka is a restaurant specializing in aged Wagyu beef, but it also offers Jingisukan, a Japanese-style lamb barbecue dish popular in Hokkaido, Japan.
The basic side dishes include pickled onions, Cheongyang chili peppers, homemade soy sauce, salad, green peas otoshi, and miso soup.
We tried the special set, which included skirt steak, chuck flap tail, boneless short rib, and three pieces of cheese. Just by looking at the marbling, you can tell it's high-quality aged beef.
The staff grills the meat for you, making it a great place to have conversations while enjoying your meal.
