Trip to Shuangliu, China 🇨🇳
It was a trip to Shuangliu, China 🇨🇳 It is more than just the home of Chengdu’s airport, it’s a district filled with beautiful parks, historical sites, and amazing local food 🥘 We explored the best places in Shuangliu and highly recommend this itinerary for a fun and relaxing trip 🙌
We started our day at Huanglongxi Ancient Town, a 1,700-year-old riverside town known for its traditional wooden buildings 🪵 cobblestone streets, and stunning bridges. Walking through the town felt like stepping back in time, and we took some amazing photos 📸 by the river and the stone arch bridges. If you visit in the morning ⛅️ you’ll get to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere before the crowds arrive.

A trip to Chengdu wouldn’t be complete without seeing giant pandas 🐼 so we visited the Chengdu Panda Base, just a short drive from Shuangliu. Watching the adorable pandas eat bamboo and play around was an unforgettable experience 💯 The best time to visit is in the morning ⛅️ when the pandas are most active. For the best photos, we recommend heading to the nursery area, where you can see baby pandas up close 🙌
📍No. 1375, Panda Avenue, Chenghua District, Chengdu, Sichuan, China
We went to Guosetianxiang Theme Park, one of the most exciting amusement parks in Chengdu 💯 It has thrill rides 🎢 water parks, and carnival-style games, making it a great stop for families and adventure seekers 🥰 One of the best places for photos is the European-style castle at the entrance, it looks like something out of a fairytale 🙌
📍No. 168 Jinqiao Road, Shuangliu, Chengdu, Sichuan, China
Shuangliu surprised us with its rich culture, delicious food, and stunning nature. Whether you’re looking for historical sites, thrilling amusement parks, or peaceful nature escapes, this district has something for everyone 🙌🙌🙌
