We booked a three-bedroom loft apartment, and it was exactly as shown in the pictures—everything was clean and tidy. From the bedroom windows, you can see mountains and lakes on three sides, and from the living room balcony, you can see the village of Hallstatt. The rooms are equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay and cooking. The owners provide essentials like tea, coffee, salt, sugar, and basic cooking oil. The apartment also has many games, puzzles, and books that my children loved. They also have a sun deck by the lake, which is a great spot for a quick picnic. The apartment is very close to all the places you want to visit in Hallstatt, yet it is very quiet and away from the tourist hustle and bustle. Hallstatt Lahn (bus/boat station) is a 4-minute walk from the apartment, and we had no trouble dragging our suitcases from there to the apartment. There is a children's park 50 meters from the apartment, which the kids loved. Supermarkets and restaurants are also nearby. The owners are very nice. They live on the first floor. They helped us move our luggage to the second floor (where we stayed) and let us use the washing machine (+ dryer) where we washed all our clothes. They even brought some bread so the kids could feed the swans on the sun deck. I will definitely stay here again the next time I visit Hallstatt.

The salt mines in Hallstatt have a very long history. There are also many installations in the tunnels, like a natural indoor museum, allowing tourists to learn about the stories of the past. There was also a wonderful light show that depicted the life of the prehistoric people of Hallstatt in the dim salt caves and salt lakes. I personally felt that it was very thoughtful. Came here for a night whilst solo backpacking. A day for me is enough to see the highlights of Vienna. Night life was okayish to be honest. But sightseeings are so pretty. The architectures are next level and would highly recommend everyone to visit the city!! I went solo and met amazing solo travelers there. I was never alone. One thing that we like the most when we go abroad is walking around convenience stores. We get to walk around and see food, local products, and get excited about things that are different from our home country. This is the charm of traveling abroad. Today, we will take you to Unimarkt. Everything here closes very early. From 6:30 to 7:00 p.m., they start to close. So we have to hurry. There are a lot of products here: vegetables, fruits, bakery goods, bread, condiments, drinking water, soft drinks, fresh food. Schönbrunn Palace (German: Schloss Schönbrunn [ʃøːnˈbʁʊn]; Central Bavarian: Schloss Scheenbrunn) was the main summer residence of the Habsburg rulers, located in Hietzing, Vienna. The name Schönbrunn (meaning “beautiful spring”) has its roots in an artesian well from which water was consumed by the court. In 1569, Holy Roman Emperor Maximilian II purchased a large floodplain of the Wien river beneath a hill, situated between Meidling and Hietzing. The former owner, in 1548, had erected a mansion called Katterburg. The emperor ordered the area to be fenced and put game there such as pheasants, ducks, deer and boar, in order for it to serve as the court's recreational hunting ground.
