Wat Phra That Chom Cho, worship Buddha and see the view of Thoeng District
Wat Hong Thong or Wat Klang Nam is located in Bang Pakong District in a mangrove forest area by the sea. There is a walkway connecting the temple on the coast to Phra That Kongkha Maha Chedi Pricha Prabhakon Prachan Sonil Anusorn and the Ubosot in the sea. The chedi has 5 floors with paintings about Buddhism and Thai kings and enshrines various Buddha images. The top floor is a golden chedi containing the relics of the Arahants. You can see the beautiful view of the sea and the land from a high angle. The walkway stretches out into the sea to “Phra That Kongkha Maha Chedi”. Along the way, there are signs and messages and morals to read for fun. In the middle of the walkway at Wat Hong Thong, there is a statue of Phra Aphai Mani, a giantess, Phra Aphai, and many other characters from literature. The hiking trail to the summit is about 700 meters long and starts near the parking area and service shops. From the summit, you can see the Mekong River on the Laos side and have a clear view of Phu Chi Fa peak, which is over 25 kilometers away.

For those who are looking for a rest stop, a cafe in a gas station on the main road between Chiang Rai and Thoeng Districts, I recommend it.
Atmosphere/Location - The shop is decorated in black tones with brick blocks and glass. There are seats in both the air-conditioned zone and outdoor seats in the middle of the garden. Silver Oak trees, grass contrasting with the rock garden
Highlights - The design of the shop front is decorated as a large wall with the shop's name. It looks beautiful but unique.
Another point is the garden behind the shop with camping-style props with a bamboo fence and small mountains as the background. It's like being in the forest.
