From November to April each year, the lights turn on promptly at 17:00 every day. Trees, ponds, and buildings are all equipped with light strips and other facilities. When the lights are on, the park completely transforms into another scene. It's stunningly beautiful, like a fairy-tale world. Free-roaming birds: The botanical garden's environment is one of harmonious coexistence between humans and animals. Cranes, geese, and ducks are all free-roaming, and can be seen everywhere in the park during your visit. 👍Most Recommended: Small Animal Area: In the central area of the park, there are capybaras, land turtles, rabbits, and other small animals. Each type of animal has its own little garden, where visitors can feed and touch them from zero distance. There are vegetable packs for purchase by voluntary donation in the garden, with each bag containing several large leaves. Aviary: This is an area for various rare bird species, also allowing zero-distance contact. Shop: The entrance and exit of the park are at the same location, with a shop near the entrance. The shop sells souvenirs, drinks, and light meals. 📝Note tips: The feeding time allowed in the park is until 16:30 (rabbits, squirrel monkeys), 17:00 (capybaras). If you want to see everything, be sure to plan the order and timing well. 👎Least Recommended: The park's sightseeing car. There is a paid sightseeing car in the park, but it is recommended not to take it, as the area of the park is not super large, and walking is completely OK. ❤Recommended Reason: The Southeast Botanical Garden is Japan's first botanical garden and also one of Okinawa's heavyweight attractions. It can truly be said to be a destination suitable for all ages. Children can learn about the diversity of plants and feed small animals. Traveling together, you can easily take photos that capture the harmonious coexistence of humans and nature. Mizuen is a popular bakery in Yomitan with a perfect atmosphere. There is a donkey on the sign, but there is also a donkey a little up the hill at the back of the store! Cape Zanpa is located in Yomitan Village, in the central part of Okinawa's main island, about a 1 hour and 10-minute drive from Naha Airport. The 30-meter-high, 2-kilometer-long cliff is a famous tourist attraction. The untouched natural coastline is also a paradise for local anglers. On clear days, you can see the Kerama Islands from Cape Zanpa. The white lighthouse is an iconic landmark of Cape Zanpa, standing about 31 meters high, equivalent to a 10-story apartment building. The lighthouse at Cape Zanpa is open for visitors, and if you are confident in your physical strength, you can challenge yourself to climb to the top! The beautiful 2-kilometer-long cliff at Cape Zanpa, combined with its location on the western side of Okinawa's main island, makes it a perfect spot to watch the sunset. Cape Zanpa is also a popular spot for wedding photoshoots. On the day I visited, there was already a couple taking their wedding photos.

I went to a restaurant called "Yomitan Monogatari" in Yomitan Village, Okinawa! 📍2481-1 Namihira, Yomitan Village, Nakagami District, Okinawa Prefecture This is a restaurant where you can enjoy delicious Okinawan cuisine! The restaurant does not allow people over 20 years old to enter, and the interior was warm and stylish! I ordered a lot of things, such as sashimi made with Okinawan fish and somen noodles with sea grapes, and everything I ate was delicious!! The spring rolls and fried chicken were especially delicious, and I ordered them twice!! I visited 'Zanpa Cape' in Yomitan Village, Okinawa. 📍1861 Uza, Yomitan Village, Nakagami District, Okinawa Prefecture This tourist spot features a tall lighthouse on a rocky cape! It's a very popular place where you can also see whales, and there were many people there!! If you don't climb the lighthouse, parking is free, so you can basically enjoy it for free! There are also food trucks nearby selling soft serve ice cream, zenzai, hamburgers, and more, making it a very fulfilling experience! I went around 5 PM in January, just before sunset, and saw a beautiful view!!

The interior is beautiful with high ceilings, cute lighting, and stylish tableware, making it a very satisfying stay! In Okinawa, I chose Hotel Nikko Alivila, which is located on the beautiful Nirai Beach. The hotel offers guests a stunning view of the sunny beach, and its rooms have a balcony facing the beach with bright colors. I also swam in the large indoor pool with European decor to relax and tried the hotel's massage service. It was very healing. The hotel offers a variety of dining options, with Sawa Restaurant serving Japanese and Okinawan cuisine. Gosamaru Restaurant serves dynamic teppanyaki, and Hanahana Restaurant serves a hearty international buffet. I tried them all, and they were very good, but a little expensive. The hotel is about a 15-minute drive from the city center. If you just want to relax, it's a great choice. There is a white church next to the hotel, with lush vegetation, and you can take great photos anywhere. If you want to shop, you should consider a hotel in the city center.
