Noticing my parents were older, they deliberately slowed their speech and answered questions patiently. This respect and consideration made my parents feel truly cared for.
The details in the room particularly touched us! The anti-slip shower stool, specifically prepared for older guests, greatly reduced safety concerns during bathing, and this thoughtfulness gave us, as their children, immense peace of mind. After a day of sightseeing, the provided traditional Chinese medicine foot bath bucket was a brilliant touch. My parents soaked their feet, relieving fatigue and promoting better sleep, and they both raved, 'This is wonderful!'

Unlike hotels in bustling downtown areas, it's very quiet, ensuring excellent rest quality. AAnonymous UserI stayed here alone for four nights. The room layout was decent, giving off an old-school five-star hotel vibe, and all the facilities worked well. Plus, there's a street-facing balcony, and it was quite refreshing when the breeze blew in. The breakfast had a wide variety of options, but they weren't particularly refined. The service across the board was excellent, from the front desk to the restaurant and housekeeping staff. The hotel's main entrance is right next to a night market on the left, and West Lake is just across the street, making its location superb and offering good value for money. An added bonus is that during the Chinese New Year period, parking was free, which was a huge convenience.

GGuest UserThe room matched the online photos perfectly! The front desk staff were all very enthusiastic and even offered me water when I was leaving. There's complimentary tea and coffee in the lobby. It's about three kilometers from West Lake, and you can grab a shared bike right outside. There's also a subway station right by the entrance! You won't be disappointed booking here. I forgot to take photos of the room.

MM519593****For my trip to Ningbo, I chose the Pan Pacific Serviced Suites, and the service exceeded my expectations. Even before arrival, I had a dedicated one-on-one butler, Miya, who asked about my room preferences and arranged the room in advance according to my requests. This saved me time, as I was able to check in immediately upon arrival.
Miya also offered excellent recommendations for popular tourist spots in Ningbo once she learned I was here for leisure – that was fantastic!
Upon reaching the front desk, the staff were very efficient; check-in was completed in about five minutes, which was great and didn't waste any time. The room offered great views, and if needed, kitchenware could be provided for cooking. It was all very well arranged, and I loved it.
What truly deserves special praise are the swimming pool and gym. The facilities are very well-maintained, and they use excellent brands for the fitness equipment.
The hotel's breakfast buffet was extensive, including both Chinese and Western options, as well as local Ningbo specialties. The taste was superb, and the restaurant environment was wonderful. I especially enjoyed sitting by the floor-to-ceiling window for the expansive view. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Ningbo!

__WeChat41221****My expectations were fully met, and the hotel lived up to the hype. The only minor drawback is that check-in isn't until 3:30 PM (though earlier check-in is possible if rooms are available), but this hotel is just incredibly popular.
The hotel boasts numerous rooms with an exceptionally high occupancy rate and a variety of room types. Stepping inside, there's a magical sense of calm. For the same price, you might only get a standard room in Shanghai, but here we enjoyed a lake view suite.
The service was also top-notch; my family felt right at home, praising the hospitality. It was money well spent.
Even during the holiday, the swimming pool and hot spring weren't overcrowded, which speaks to excellent management, as reservations are required. Since it's winter, swimming was a bit chilly. However, there's also a sizable, slightly warmer children's pool area, which is absolutely fantastic.

LLydiaaa_After comparing many options, I chose voco primarily for its convenient location, comfortable stay, and excellent value for money. Firstly, the service was outstanding. The complimentary scallion pancakes were incredibly fragrant, and I ate a lot of them! They even gave me a small gift when I checked out. I had booked a Deluxe Lake View room, and having seen photos online of a layout with the bathtub facing the window, I specifically requested that. The front desk was very helpful and managed to switch my room. However, it turned out the corner room they gave me was on the other side of the building, so the bathtub faced the road instead of the lake. Plus, it was on a lower floor, which made it awkward to open the curtains while bathing. But since it was close to Chinese New Year, I didn't bother asking for another change. Although the room was a bit on the small side, it was generally very comfortable.
However, there were quite a few issues with the facility details. The refrigerator and cabinet didn't quite fit together, the wooden door wouldn't stay closed, and the faucet in the sink was significantly off-center, making a mess when washing with both hands. There was a panel on top of a wooden box that had to be pulled out to open the lid. The gap between the bathroom door and the floor was too small, making it impossible to lay a bath mat.
Separately, I purchased the 178 RMB single dinner at the Xiaguang restaurant. The seafood selection wasn't particularly great; the salmon and small seafood items were decent, but the crab legs were very dry and tasted extremely unfresh. As for the scenery, the Qiandao Lake view is, of course, unparalleled. The sunset was indeed beautiful, and the public areas offered fantastic views.

The butler was both professional and friendly, always there when we needed something, yet also providing us with ample personal space—the service balance was just perfect. The hotel's location is also ideal for families; our child's highlight every day was visiting the squirrel park downstairs. Breakfast was delicious and the commute was convenient. We will definitely be recommending this hotel to our friends and look forward to our next visit!
