The Nubian Village has many narrow alleys, so if you're traveling by business car, you'll need to pay attention to the route.
The transportation is a bit far from the pier. Tuktuks are popular for short-distance travel within the village.
Breakfast service is quite leisurely, so if you're in a hurry, it's best to inform them in advance. They thoughtfully provide bags for takeout breakfast, but dining in offers a much tastier and more abundant meal!
Occasionally, there might be an inconvenient water outage, but it usually returns to normal after a while. If you report it to the front desk, they'll provide bottled water as a temporary solution.
Even with the same room type, the level of newness can vary between different floors. This is because, according to their customs, they only build upwards when they have more money, so the houses aren't built all at once. The higher the floor, the newer and better the facilities.
The restaurant upstairs is delicious and reasonably priced. I recommend eating there whether you're a guest or not!
The guesthouse is very cozy, and no one will ask you for tips. Instead, they genuinely welcome you and offer any assistance you need. The owner, in particular, is incredibly kind.
This wasn't the most well-equipped accommodation I stayed at during my trip to Egypt, but it was definitely the warmest, most memorable, most grateful, and most like coming home. If I ever visit Egypt again, I'll be back here. :)
Overall, the experience was just okay. We could take the complimentary boat shuttle between the dock and the hotel every day, which was a nice little Nile River cruise. The room facilities were a bit old but clean enough. The pool staff were quite enthusiastic. The only downside was breakfast. Perhaps because it was close to Ramadan, the dining area was overflowing with people. The food selection wasn't extensive, and the quality was just average. You even had to queue for a long time just to get coffee from the machine.
Everything in this hotel was amazing ”the view , cleanliness , staff , and food ”
you feel like it's not just a hotel , but like you're with your family and you never want to leave
they have a really nice restaurant , i highly recommend trying the food there
specially thanks for Rowan & Aya for their hospitality
I had an excellent stay at Malindy Ka Nubian House in Aswan. The hospitality of Mr Mohamed was truly outstanding, and the entire team was very friendly, helpful, and always prompt in responding to any questions or requests. Mr. Mohamed guided us very well during our stay and helped with everything we needed in Aswan, including local travel tips and arrangements.
The Abu Simbel tour arrangements were very good and budget-friendly, which made the experience smooth and comfortable. The location itself is peaceful and quiet, giving a beautiful experience of Nubian culture and lifestyle. The artistic paintings and decorations both inside and outside the property were beautiful and added a unique cultural touch to the stay.
The room was very neat, clean, and comfortable. Even a late-night dinner was quickly arranged for us, which we truly appreciated. If guests have any specific food preferences, it is better to inform them earlier so they can check the availability and prepare accordingly.
For travelers arriving at Aswan Airport, using the Indrive app can also be very helpful for transportation.
Overall, everything was perfect, and we had a wonderful experience staying here. I highly recommend Malindy Ka Nubian House to anyone visiting Aswan.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Top 5-Star Experience!
The hotel is located in a rather remote area, making it a good stopover for those driving. The breakfast was poor, with nothing particularly appealing. The water park was closed, and the surrounding environment was unpleasant. I wouldn't recommend it for families with children.
I’m trying to write this review to be fair to everyone who wants to book this hotel, first of all the hotel wasn’t clear on which room I have booked even though I showed them my room details which is nile view but again never got the room i had to pay around 20 USD extra per day to get the nile view, second the location is odd and confusing even for locals especially if I order a ride I can’t get them to come to the hotel’s entrance, sometimes I had to walk up to them, yet after that the staff were nothing short of accommodating and super especially musa the receptionist and Mohammed the handyman, the food is so and so but ppl are accommodating and super.
This is a very contradictory B&B hotel that I don't know if it is worth recommending. Its shortcomings and advantages are very prominent. It is suitable for Internet celebrities to make photos (the following photos are all original photos without retouching), but it is not suitable for anyone who has certain requirements for ”accommodation” itself. If you can find any cheap + clean + similar scenery alternative hotel, it is recommended to change it, but if it is just for taking pictures and scenery, it may be ranked at the top in Nubian Village.
First of all, you have to be able to tolerate:
1. The hotel price is not cost-effective in the peak season, and the B&B offers the price of a five-star hotel.
2. Poor room facilities, rough-style furniture and narrow rooms, worrying bed sheets, bathroom shower water overflowing and drainage is useless, no slippers, toothbrushes, hair dryers (phone front desk can provide).
3. The breakfast is self-service and extremely simple and unpalatable, unlike some people who commented on the set and inexplicably praised it.
4. Tolerate or pay more to continue to tolerate the complaints of the chartered driver to drive into Nubian Village, and then contact the hotel by yourself in the middle of the night to change to a three-wheeled motorcycle in the deserted and dark mountains for 15 minutes to doubt life and reach the mountaintop hotel.
5. Other prices are very unreasonable. We originally wanted to book dinner for the New Year's Eve party, but it cost 100 US dollars per person...
What did we get here?
1. The balcony of the room can see the unbeatable sunrise on the west bank of the Nile. We witnessed the first light of 2025 here at 6 am.
2. The various poses in the cultural buildings of the Nubian Village are very photogenic.
3. The desert next to the hotel is very photogenic.
4. A very special cultural experience of a group of tourists jumping up and down the mountain in a row of three-wheeled vehicles.
5. The hotel service staff is relatively friendly. Finally, it is explained that Egypt is not a country where tipping is allowed. Carrying luggage is a basic service of any hotel in their country. No one asked for tips during the entire stay.
The service was excellent, but once a booking is confirmed, changing the dates is virtually impossible. They offer airport pickup, and both the restaurant and its service were great. While the room was small, the air conditioning, hot water, and bedding were quite comfortable. It would be perfect for solo travelers!
Nukud guest house enjoys a location in Aswan, 11 miles from Aga Khan Mausoleum and 6.7 miles from Nubian Museum. The property is around 7.4 miles from Aswan High Dam, 7.6 miles from Kitchener's Island, and 6.6 miles from Unfinished Obelisk. This pet-friendly bed and breakfast also has free Wifi.
At the bed and breakfast, units are fitted with a wardrobe. All rooms are complete with a private bathroom and air conditioning, and selected rooms also feature a balcony.
The bed and breakfast offers a vegetarian or halal breakfast.
Guests can relax in the garden at the property.
Tombs of the Nobles is 12 miles from Nukud guest house. Aswan International Airport is 6.8 miles from the property.

The best hotel I stayed in Egypt the past 20 years!
We had an absolutely AMAZING TIME! From our airport pick up (which I recommend). Even though it was 2am we were still greeted with fantastic Hibiscus tea from Edres he was fantastic. We were shown around even at that time. In the morning we asked for a call to see the sunrise and that was fantastic as well. In the morning we had a great typical breakfast and then a fantastic tour as well. Rowan and Aya also were wonderful. I would recommend this place to see the true Aswan and tour the Nubian Village. Also, the lunch was fantastic as well. Next time we want to spend more time. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay.
I am really enjoying staying in this traditional Nubian house, the service is great! The owner always ready to help the guests ! The nubian room is clean and nice! And the traditional breakfast is very tasty! It’s located near the Nubian village so you can enjoy this ancient people close. I really recommend this house!
The scenery from the room is fantastic also the room is spacious but the way to hotel is so dangerous and have no main road uneasy to walk to the main road. The service is excellent, I've requested the birthday celebration for my husband and they decorated our room including the birthday cake! If you order room service or even have the meal at the restaurant and need to pay by card, they charge more 5% for the transaction fee.
Oh my goodness, I don’t even know where to start from. My experience at The Zen wellness resort was exceptional. Food, ambiance, vibes, services and even staff members were 10/10. I would definitely recommend for anyone especially if you are into relaxing well during your vacation l.
Located in the middle of a Nubian village, this hotel is very different to the polished world of resorts and cruise ships that most tourists will see when they come to Aswan. There is a market in the area where you can buy spices, teas, and jewelry. The aesthetic and vibe of the place is bright and colorful, the people are super friendly and there are a lot of camels. Nubian Palace is not just a hotel, but also a coffee shop and restaurant. The food is AMAZING! They even packed us a breakfast box for our early morning flight.
AAnonymous UserExcellent hotel in Aswan! The people are very very nice and the food is good here. Love the tranquil vibe and enjoy the Nile River. There is a farm here and the vegetables are sent to you table directly. Fresh food ever. Love the concept of this hotel!
Lovely hotel right on the banks of the Nile. The people were nice if a bit awkward. The food menu was tired. The massage is nice but over priced. However, all of Aswan is over priced and it’s hard to find a massage in a Muslim country so we take what we can get. While I think they get a kick out of Crocodile lake it a little sad and serious PETA people could be upset. Gorgeous view though. Great pool and good bar!! Very clean. Comfortable bed and TV has lots of channels. WiFi is not great in your room as it is a brick building but better in lobby. Thanks so much for the boxed breakfasts and ice got our cooler!! I RECOMMEND to the hotel adding the menus to the google docs QR code. Would alleviate a lot of awkwardness.
