"Hübsch gestaltetes Boutique Hotel mit sehr bemühtem und freundlichem Personal. Die Zimmer waren makellos sauber. Uns hat gefallen, dass man kostenlos Wasser bekommt, das mehrfach am Tag nachgefüllt wird. Leider wird rund um das Hotel gebaut, so vor allem direkt nebenan Richtung Meer. Der Baulärm war störend und die Sicht auf das Meer ist schon jetzt stark eingeschränkt."

"Location location location! This spot is perfect to soak up everything Mirissa beach has to offer. It’s right by the main beach in the town with options for Snorkling, whale watching, dining, drinking, parrot island & coconut tree hill just minutes away. The room was lovely, spacious & clean. We had a very small problem of monkeys coming onto our balcony during the night & rearranged our chairs & drying clothes for us but the friendly staff took care of everything in the morning. The perfect hotel to enjoy Mirissa."

"A very high-quality hotel. The student interns provide excellent, lively service. They arranged everything for us, from snorkeling to a safari tour. It's also within walking distance to the beach, and there are many restaurants nearby. We will definitely come back here again."

The rooms were spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed with a coastal vibe. Waking up to the sound of waves and the sea breeze was an absolute highlight. The staff were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile, making the stay even more enjoyable. The food was delightful—fresh, flavorful, and with plenty of options to choose from. I especially loved their seafood dishes, which were prepared to perfection. Another great feature was the location. It’s close enough to Mirissa’s main attractions but far enough to avoid the hustle and bustle, giving you the best of both worlds."

"Lived a couple of three days. A small simple hotel. Comfortably located across the road from the beach, right opposite Parrot Rock. Very kind hostess and her husband, always helped in all requests. Delicious breakfasts. Behind the window - the proteins jump and the birds sing, everything in green, the cafe. On the beach every day release newborn turtles. There is a reef with fish near the popuga rock. Only burn the cream from the sun, we were very quickly burned and sat in the room, good is air conditioning and fan. If you go right as you go on the road, there is a high staircase to the temple with a view across the district. In general, a good nice place"

"My wife and I stayed here during our vacation in Sri Lanka, choosing it because of the high Google ratings. The location really impressed us. The hotel is literally a step away from the beach and less than five minutes’ walk to town, which made it very convenient. Sitting on the balcony overlooking the beach and listening to the waves was easily the best part of the stay. The lobby was simple but acceptable, and there is a seafood restaurant right next to the hotel. At check-in, there was a small hiccup. I booked through Trip.com, but they couldn’t find my booking at first. After about ten minutes, they managed to sort it out and confirmed that the booking came via Agoda. The receptionists were friendly and welcoming, even offering us a drink on arrival. Our room on the second floor had a great view of the sea. The shower had good water pressure, although the bathroom could use better ventilation. The toiletries seemed diluted, so we ended up using our own. Unfortunately, the air conditioning became a real problem. It leaked so badly that the room flooded twice, soaking my shoes. Despite my request for a pail to manage the water, they initially only gave floor mats, which was very frustrating. By the time they finally sent a pail, it was too late. We barely slept that night because of the constant dripping sound. Overall, the location and friendliness of the staff were strong points, but the poor handling of the air conditioning issue really spoiled our experience."

"Absolutely beautiful colonial-style house with antique furniture and real character! Everything was clean and carefully presented. We were greeted with refreshing drinks and shown to a stunning room with TWO balconies and its own little attic. We really enjoyed the delicious and varied breakfasts, which much better coffee than we drank elsewhere. The pool was also a huge benefit after a hot day exploring Mirissa. The Spice House is very near the beaches and plenty of nice restaurants and cafes. Its staff were friendly and helpful - and we even had a nice chat with the owners one evening. Definitely recommend!"
