One of the highlights was the breakfast. It was outstanding—rich, diverse, and beautifully presented, with a wide variety of delicious options to suit all tastes.
The service throughout the hotel was consistently excellent. Every staff member I interacted with was polite, helpful, and dedicated to providing the best possible experience.

Shams Al-Basra hotel is a 4-star hotel located in the middle of Basra’s leisure district. Just a 30-minute driving from Basra International Airport, the hotel offers modern accommodation, air-conditioned rooms, free Wi-Fi in all areas, and a modern restaurant.
All the rooms and suites are fitted with wooden furniture and printed carpeted floors. Each is equipped with a minibar, LED TV, wardrobe and a desk. The suite includes a living room with sofa and a private kitchen. A spa bath is included in some suites.
Shat Al Arab River is just within a 2-minute walk from Shams Al Basra Hotel. Free private parking is possible on site.
