We had a very nice stay, we stayed 3 people in one room. The room we stayed in was very big and had its own unique style. It was very clean. The hotel is very close to the South Gate of the park. It's a little hidden away from the road, but they were very quick to come and pick us up and drove us to the park entrance every day free of charge. Breakfast eggs come from free range chicken on the ground and they were excellent. Over all the food was very good. It's a small hotel run by a family and they are all very nice and helpful with planning your stay. Location is beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay.

No complaints. The room was pretty compact, but I can't say I didn't have enough space. The layout makes it work. The bathroom is a tight fit, though. Didn't really make use of the hotel's amenities, but I checked them out, and they seemed to be as advertised. The location was pretty good; not super close to anything, but also not particularly far. Staff are welcoming and enthusiastic. Honestly, at the price point, it's actually a bit of a steal.

We had the best service of our trip at this hotel- they truly go beyond and above. It was only a 15min Didi from the train station, also the bus shuttle from HSR to the city is right in front of the hotel. The location is perfectly situated at one side of the main bridge, but a nice 5min stroll away such that you are away from the noise on the main strip (in front of the river). Also, no mosquitoes. We initially booked a riverfront hotel but I am SO glad that we changed to this hotel after actually walking the whole tourist strip on foot. Legit the cobblestones near the river are terrible, and cars can’t get in so it’d have been a nightmare. Next, Xiao Dai （小代） who helped us and the manager were all so sweet. 小代answered all our WeChat questions extremely promptly (literally 1-2mins), and when we asked about the free laundry self use machine onsite, she offered to have us leave it in our room and do it for us so we could go out and explore. I thought this was truly above and beyond- she picked the clothes up from our room, washed them (separately as well for colours and whites), hung them and sent us a photo, dried them and returned them to us folded and freshly laundered. We were simply floored by this level of service. They are so so so kind and I can’t recommend this hotel enough for their kindness and eagerness to ensure your comfort during your stay. We stayed on the 7th floor in a suite and it was very comfortable- the bed itself and pillows were just right. Sheets felt high quality, pillows not too stiff and high, duvet was fluffy and nice. I liked that the toilet is separated from the shower and vanity- the soft but bright filtered lighting for the bathroom vanity was amazing for getting ready (for the girls who are sick of hotels with dark lighting and can’t do their make up). The room was spacious and although some aspects were a bit outdated, it was clean large and comfortable - we were so happy with our room. They also gave our group of 3 girls 4 room cards which allows for each card to breakfast. The breakfast ayis were so nice and made eggs freshly your way when asked. The cucumber and radish pickles were yummy and we really liked the corn soup and congee as well as all the vegetable dishes. The selection was good for us, as we like clean and simple, easy to digest and nutritious foods in the morning. Oh yeah they also sent us to the HSR on check out without charge, in the hotel’s car. They were so prompt in getting us to the HSR and the driver was really considerate, safe and careful. Literally the most calm drive we’ve experienced in China. Side note- the gym is massive and looks largely unused but the equipment is good, there are weights and cables and everything. There’s also a pool table and table tennis. A yoga room complete with a good amount of gear and mats.

Our holidaying at Zhangjiajie was memorable not just because of the most astounding natural beauty of the place but also because of one of the most memorable experiences at the hotel we stayed in: ‘Harmona Resort and Spa’. The warm and friendly staff here created a very welcoming atmosphere.  We experienced excellent customer service with friendly and approachable attitude displayed by every member of the staff. They had the ability  to anticipate needs of guests and respond promptly. Though we did not know Mandarin, we never felt isolated because of the extra length the staff went to translate using technology.  The staff also handled specific requests quickly and were excellent in resolving issues. We had problem with our electrical plugs and adapters. Cherry from the Front Desk patiently spent hours and found a solution that allowed us to charge all our electronics on the local system.   The staff particularly at the restaurants displayed cultural awareness and showed sensitivity  to our vegetarian meal requests.  Special mention must be made of Front Desk Staff particularly Cherry who positively responded instantaneously to any of our requests.     Housekeeping Staff also responded immediately to our request for sorting out the WiFi issue.     I and my wife would like to specially thank Hq Du, an extremely pleasant and helpful lady at the restaurant where we had our daily breakfast. Donghua and Fang ant this place  also went out of the way to make the daily breakfast an experience to remember. All the three anticipated our needs and were always friendly and cheerful.They walk the talk in customer service. When my wife did not go for buffet breakfast as she was working out, they insisted on packing the breakfast for her.  Also, on the day we were leaving, they packed take away food for the road. This was highly thoughtful of them.  We would also like to thank Roland, Yuan Quioyun and Lora from the Chinese restaurant, who prepared for us off-the-menu Chinese vegetarian dishes which proved to be very delicious. Overall, we had an incredibly lovely experience at this resort and would strongly recommend visitors to Zhangjiajie to stay at this place.  - **Feedback Mechanisms**   - Encourage staff to share experiences and feedback for continuous improvement. - **Recognition Programs**   - Acknowledge and reward exceptional service to motivate staff.

I had a great experience at this hostel in Wulingyuan! The location is perfect—right near the entrance to the national park and surrounded by plenty of restaurants and food stalls, which made it super convenient. The host was amazing! When I asked for a different room due to some loud snorers in my original room, they were really understanding and helped me move right away, which made a big difference in my stay. Plus, the host’s dog is super cute. Highly recommend this place!

Great location just a min from the ticketing entrance. The room we booked has a balcony with a nice view of the water fall - though not directly overseeing the water fall, it's rather much more quiet away from the noise of karaoke at the bars along the river bank. Room is clean, amenities are complete and owner is very nice to offer us a ride to the train station when we depart. Thanks .. we have a very relaxing and comfortable stay 🥰

Exceptional Homestay Experience in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park Rating: 5.0 I recently stayed at this homestay in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park with my sister and brother-in-law for 4 nights. As visitors with minimal Mandarin skills, we were delighted by the warm hospitality and personalized services provided by our host. From the moment we arrived, the host made us feel at home, serving us homebrew tea and homegrown organic peanuts! They went above and beyond to ensure our trip was enjoyable and stress-free. As DIY visitors, we didn’t book any tours. The host offered great guidance after learning about our wishes. They helped us purchase admission tickets and organized transportation for us every day. This made our daily trips to the national park and other tourist spots incredibly easy and convenient. The place is quiet and absolutely beautiful. We were surrounded by the mountains. The building materials are of superb quality and the insulation is very good, despite the cold weather. The bedding was very comfortable and we all had a good night's sleep. The highlight of our stay was truly these tailor-made services, providing us with recommendations for daily trips, food, and transportation. We enjoyed plenty of delicious healthy food, including a variety of fruits such as grapes, oranges, pomelo, to name but a few! The vegetables and some fruits (like kumquats, figs) were organically grown on the farm. Every meal was homemade and tasty. We even got to try their own specialty tea Mei Cha (莓茶), which was a delightful experience. On a particularly rainy day, the host proactively brought umbrellas to us, ensuring we stayed dry and comfortable. At some of the tourist spots, guides had been arranged to ensure our smooth entry. These thoughtful gestures added a personal touch to our experience, making us feel genuinely cared for. Overall, the owner’s dedication to making our trip enjoyable and successful was evident in every aspect of our stay. I highly recommend this homestay to anyone visiting Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. The personal touch, yummy organic food, and convenient transportation made our trip unforgettable. Thank you to the host for an exceptional experience!

Visited Zhangjiajie for 3 nights, chose this hotel because of the proximity (just across the street) to Tianmen Mountain gate entrance. Do also check out the travel agencies righr at the hotel ground floor for all your attraction tickets, guides and private car transport at great prices!!! Right outside the hotel, there are restaurants, covenience stores and even Mcdonalds for those who wish to have fast food and not used to the local delicacies (across the street less than 5 mins walk). From train station to hotel is about RMB 20 by car. Hotel to Wulingyuan is about RMB 100 by car, to Yellow Dragon Cave is RMB 140. To Grand Canyon is RMB 200.
