This was our last leg of our China trip. The 4 days 3 nights stay at Manyuan was wonderful. The team of staff we met was thoughtful and helpful, and the lead staff 彭谊stood out as a true attentive person. She guided us to book DiDi online Taxi and recommended places for dinner. In addition to enthusiastically recommending us places to go and buying tickets for us for the WuLingYuan National park and ZhangJiaJie Great Canyon with discount, we could feel that they were very concerned about our daily life. My wife said that every day when we returned to the hotel, she felt like she was back home when she heard the friendly ”You're back”. Our female butler 缘缘 helps monitor my online 淘宝purchase that delivered to the hotel. Another two staff worth mentioned was 晓晓 who guide us on the route in the national park of places of interest and skip others if time constraints. And 陈双凤who help us to setup the herbal foot bath. We have chosen Manyuan for its non smoking, clean, spacious rooms that overseeing the stream and sitting there with a glass of wine. It is also easy access to WuLingYuan National Park East gate. There are plenty of Chinese selection for the breakfast. My wife and I especially enjoyed and appreciated the coffee machine, which hardly available in other hotels. We are deeply grateful that we were allowed for late checkout with a small fee due midnight flight. I would highly recommend this hotel as it is new and clean and very convenient as it is next to the cable car station route A for Tian Men Shan! Below is a super duper delicious Cha Yan store which you could possibly get the best bubble tea to give Cha Gee a run for its $$$. All amenities are provided and the rooms are huge!!! There are free tea, lemon water and snacks on level 1 of the hotel and 24 hrs massage places are just next door!!!

Pick-up/drop-off service at train station provided upon request. Friendly and helpful front desk. Quick check in/out. Clean room with standard amenities. Breakfast is simple with some variety but is 7-9am only. Self service laundry available. Eateries and grocery across the road. 20mins walk to Tianmen cable car station. Air-cond setting is a little weird, not able to go below 22C. Overall, stayed with satisfaction.

High price high standing. We had an amazing stay. Location: walking distance from East entrance of the park (can cross the river through a charming wooden path) + walking distance from Wulingyuan center and cute streets. Room (rating the suite with bathtub): best part of the stay. The view on the river+city+mountain is stunning, can even be enjoyed while taking a bath. Room is very spacious, ultra modern (automatic curtains, many lights, hanging chair, fancy bathroom), it has all necessary equipments and the bed is super large and comfortable Staff: extremely friendly and helped us anytime of the day (WeChat and front desk) to prepare our trip, share recommandations, arrange special needs. Service is way above average. Breakfast: the one (and only) disappointment of the stay, it looks like a canteen and clearly not up to the hotel’s standards. Nothing important as you may want to leave early to enjoy the park anyway.

The host were very friendly and super helpful. He suggested us a good restaurant nearby. The inn was at very good location, in a small beautiful road with full of restaurants. The room was a bit small and in an old building.

My husband and I stayed here for two nights and chose it for the fantastic location close to the cable car for the Tianmen mountain national park (only a 5-8min walk away). The amenities were fantastic and the room larger than what we expected. The hotel offers a hotel breakfast for a fee which we opted for and Im glad we did! It was a great way to experience local breakfast for foreigners like ourselves. The staff did not speak much english but we were able to communicate very well via wechat translate & message. Our room was also a bit warm due to the central heating, but reception was very accommodating and got a fan for our room which helped a lot. The hotel had also let us know there was construction which was fine but they even provided us with earplugs which we thought was very considerate. Overall, it was a fantastic stay at Zhangjiajie - would definitely recommend!

Strategic location - only 2 mins away from the 黄兴步行街. Excellent service - I arrived earlier than the check-in time and they have managed in order for me to check in earlier. Great effort. Prompt response - They will ask you to add their WeChat. Anything you need could send a message through WeChat and a reasonably fast response. Cleanliness - Clean, they will clean your room everyday even though we were staying for 3 nights. Trash was also taken care of. Amenities were also refurbished. Wonderful Hospitality - they offered a check out souvenirs and ask if we need anything on our way to the railway station. Definitely worth your money.

Easy to find. Great location. Near to various shopping and eateria. They also upgraded our room for free. The room is very clean and nice view. The service from the counter/information also very good. Breakfast also good. They also provide free luggage delivery to the airport. We regreat that we didn't book for more nights till the day departing to the airport.

This is an apartment building where different hotel operators take out different floors and we stay at the 10th floor facing the cable car base station (felt so safe staying here knowing where you should go for your journey to Tianmendong on the next day ). My room has a gorgeous view of the mountain ranges further away. It was such an awesome moment to watch an intense sunset with the sky turning from Orange to pink and yellow. Bedsheets and big towels were clean and comfortable On a separate note, I later realised those avatar peaks are all inside ZJJ national park some 1 hour away (separate zone). The famous Tianmendong near to this hotel turned out to be rather touristy and lesser iconic and I will choose to skip when I come back again

Although hard to find initially, this hotel was adequate for my needs over two nights. The hotel is located conveniently near to a few subway lines and shopping malls, but that's about it. There's not much to do around the area, most tourist sites or worthwhile restaurants are about 3kms away or further and need a taxi ride/subway ride. The hotel itself feels pretty clean and modern, my friends rooms felt quite clean and modern but my room was old, dirty and weirdly designed. I think it was a family room previously and instead of doing any real renovations or decorations they just removed the extra bed. Some of the walls have childrens drawing on then in pencil, others are just filthy. The space of the room is massive but there is only one small table and chair. My friends who paid less or the same had two chairs or even a sofa. My room felt weird overall. Breakfast was standard, I'd recommend the noodles made to order over the premade buffet. The staff were friendly and helpful. Overall my stay was good, but I really really hope they do something about the room I stayed in....

First of all, it is really misleading on the sign on the wall to locate this hotel. It is a floor in a huge apartment building. On the ad from outside, it says 23rd floor, then we came to the 23rd, it looks like some deserted ******* house. There was a few rooms and there was the sign of that hotel outside. Then there is one door saying open for business with their hotel sign on it. We were ringing the bell but no answers. We then came downstairs again. Luckily there was another ad saying on 18 floor, but in the elevator, only 17A floor. We guess it is and came there. Finally it is in that floor. When we came in, the reception desk is among a few other rooms nearby. Vary cramp. We booked a room that is near the reception desk, so we decided to pay extra to upgrade to a room further away, otherwise, it would have been very noisy. Then a man was smoking right in the waiting area, near the reception desk. But only until we complained that the receptionist reminded him. The whole hallway smells smokes. The room is not cleaned well, stains are everywhere. I feel so dirty that I couldn’t sleep that night. If you come here, try Hotel hotel, not these ”one floor in apartment building hotel”.

Very friendly and extremely helpful staff. The receptionist helped us book entrance tickets and gave us great suggestions for the forest park and the journey in Zhangjiajie. I enjoyed the breakfast prepared by the A'yi s with an amazing view. Our room and balcony had a view towards the garden where we could rest and enjoy the traditional farming and gardening views.

Our stay here was nothing short of incredible. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with top-notch service and warm hospitality. A special mention goes to Dandan, who went above and beyond to ensure we had a seamless experience. She was incredibly proactive, always offering assistance before we even had to ask. The whole team really took effort to communicate with us. They will treat not just like a friend but like a close relative who visited their hometown. That was literally how we felt when we were there. One of the highlights was the thoughtful amenities, including a massage chair just outside our room—an absolute treat after a long day of hiking. Dandan provided us with detailed guidance (with maps) on the best routes for exploring Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, Grand Canyon Glass Bridge and Tianmen Mountain, ensuring we made the most of our trip. She even kept us updated on the weather and gave valuable advice on how to dress appropriately for the changing temperatures at higher elevations. The hotel also offers fantastic perks such as free airport pickup and drop-off, a complimentary ride to the train station and Tianmen Mountain Cableway, and an amazing breakfast featuring the best Hunan-style noodles we’ve had. This was truly one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had, thanks to the incredible service and attention to detail. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Zhangjiajie!

Love this place. Everything is within walking distance. There are a lot of food options around the area. Hotel is clean with robot service at your finger tip. There is also laundry room and gym. Access to the lift and room is via access card so it is quite safe.

It really is a luxury hotel for a cheap price. I had the cheaper room with view on a concrete wall, but the features are great. Bluetooth sound system going through the room, large recreational space, modern and spacious bathroom. Too bad the staff engaging was not friendly. But apart from that, it’s probably the best hotel I’ve ever been in this price range.

The hotel is conveniently located within 5min walk to the subway. 平安老街is right behind the hotel where you can get food round the clock. Good eateries like 費大廚，笨蘿蔔，are all within walking distance from the hotel. The room is huge with curtains. Hot water with good pressure. The room is nicely insulated from the busy roads.

We booked this hotel because it is located near Changsha South station which is the arriving station from Fenghuang Gucheng high speed rail. It is a good location from the hotel to the international airport. This turns out to be a good location for both as we managed to roll our trolley from the South station to the hotel easily and of course a call cab to the airport. However, this hotel is far from city centre and costs more to travel there. So be better to stay around in the nearby shopping mall 吾悦广场 for dining. Room is clean and tidy and well maintained and can match any 4 star above hotel internationally…

This time, the experience of staying at Beichen Guohui Hotel was very good. Xiao Zhou at the front desk upgraded us to a high-floor river view room. The night view was superb and we could see the Xiangjiang River light show. Here, I would like to thank Manager Li. When we checked in, Changsha was about 30 degrees. At first, the room could only be heated. After hearing our needs, the hotel manager, Manager Li, immediately went to coordinate and gave several solutions. He also adjusted the air conditioning problem and took the initiative to go to the room to help us test the air conditioning in person. The service attitude was very good and really helped us solve the problem. It is really the hotel with the best service and facilities I have stayed in recently~ In terms of facilities and geographical location, the hotel is in a good location, not far from anywhere, and it is not as noisy and congested as May Day Square. The hotel has only been open for a few years and the facilities are very new. If I have the opportunity to come to Changsha next time, I will choose this hotel again.

This is my first time checking into InterContinental Changsha. First of all, I have to say the experience was amazing. From check-in to the service, was absolutely 5 stars. The front desk was absolutely amazing. The view from the room was great and the size of the room is top notch. I am definitely coming back for future business trips.

The Xuanyuan was terrific. The young girl operating it was such a cutie and made us feel so welcome. She let us know in advance we would be collected from the railway station and got us into our room as soon as possible. I am sorry I didn’t get her name but she went out of her way. The room was on the top floor with balcony, has all the modern appliances and fittings, ducted air conditioning and good shower. In departure we were supplied with a terrific home made Chinese breakfast. The b&b was situated just outside the entrance to the old town which was great.

Beautiful view, room was very clean and spacious and the hotel staff service was great. Train stations drop offs and pick ups were included which made it extra convenient.

Stayed in a 2 double besd river view room for one night. Staff at the homestay are informative and helpful. Helped arranged pick up and drop off from train station at reasonable price. Room is clean but a bit disappointing with the towels provided. Looks old, overly used and thin. The room soundproof was not great. Our room was same level as the lobby and street and just next to the stairways that leads to other rooms from the lobby. Can hear other staffs and guests walking up and down early in the morning. Read reviews of many old homestays in furong with view of waterfall that the room will smell of sewage but at Tusi Xuanfu it was good. No sewerage smell. Only complain is that can smell other people smoking outside from our room and the water pressure in the shower was very weak. The free chinese tea set while enjoying the view of the waterfall was bonus. The breakfast was simple, just noodle soup, mantou and instant coffee. Noodle soup tastes nice especially for a tourist like me. Would conclude that the price of the room I stayed is expensive compared to the quality of the room. The view from the courtyard is GREAT, just not from the room because the room only has view of the platform, and river but not the waterfall.

Owners are very kind, friendly and ready to help you. I added their wechat once booked. They will pick up us which the place under 3 choices. and he help us take the luggages to hotel, that is not far from oldtown entrance. The location is very good. Not loud and fuss. Very quite to rest and relax. The front view is so amazing. You can walk around 10-15 minutes to downtown. Owner provide e-map to you. You can left luggages once checked out and walk around old town. Then once you will go to railways, they will help you take the luggages to the old town entrance.

The room was clean and immaculate. They added a personal touch by escorting us to the room and leaving a bowl of fruits and some little snacks. Only gripe (and it was minor), was that the big bottle of body wash was virtually empty. We could have asked for a top-up but didn’t.  The view from the balcony, which we had to pay extra for, was simply gorgeous. We sat out there till late in the night.  The staff were courteous. The auntie ( not sure how one should address an elderly person in China) was fabulous, always smiling, always courteous. She easily got an A* for service from us. Overall, we are happy to recommend this place.

Good comfortable hotel in Fenghuang. It was in a great location because it was just far enough away from the river to not hear the loud noises at night from the nightclubs, but close enough that we could step outside and immediately be in the old city. The beds were comfortable and the staff were happy to provide extra pillows and bottles of water upon request. A very nice stay.

Very big room, staff so friendly they help us book tour to miao village and have free for Chinese costumes only pay for photographer. Room same as picture in trip, I got room on 4th floor no elevator. Sound from restaurants around hotel too noisy until 23:30 then it quite time still can accept. Recommended this room for nice view.

We contacted the hotel a few weeks prior to arrange for a pick up at the fenghuanggucheng train station. They picked us up from the train station for free. As soon as we arrive, the boss greeted us and the staff helped bring our luggage to our room. We were also shown different rooms when we arrived, and they upgraded us to their suite room free of charge. The staff are always nice , smiling and helpful. Great location, hotel located away from the major noise but right in the action. We have been travelling around the Philippines, South Korea and China and decided to stay in Fenghuang old town for two nights, and we are grateful that we got some much needed rest. There's a few cheap breakfast options around the hotel. Highly recommended hotel, we would stay here again the next time we come back to Fenghuang old town!

The hotel was excellent. Spent 3 days 2 nights there. Although Furong Ancient City/Town can be covered in 1 day, fortunately the service and cleanliness of the hotel made it comfortable for us to spend two nights in a pleasant and relaxing manner. The receptionist and bell “lady” were excellent and made great arrangements for us just like a 6 star hotel . The drivers who drove us to Rainbow bridge and also to the Fenghuangguchen station were also excellent. Hotel restaurant was great
