This was our first stay in Jeddah, and the level of service at this hotel far exceeded our expectations. They treated us as family, gave us tours of the huge hotel and the Corniche. We were greeted with a welcome drink and a fruit basket. The lobby is incredible with live music in the evenings. The restaurant may be a little over priced but with will prepared food and wonderful service. The live band was excellent. The bed was very comfortable and the room had nice amenities. The shower had low pressure and odd temperature settings. Overall, one of our favorite stays. We will be back. I wouldn't consider staying at a different hotel. This felt like home.
The location is very good, right next to the floating mosque. The sea view room can also see the sailing club.
The service is also very good. The front desk helped us call a buggy bus to take us to the mosque (although it is only a few minutes walk)
There’s a genuine issue with the lifts - before and after prayer times, expect to wait 10-20 minutes. The room I booked had a kitchen but no utensils, making it impractical to cook. The breakfast buffet offers very limited choices - usually just one gravy dish, with the rest mostly sauces and salads. The dining area staff were few and unresponsive, and it’s hard to get assistance when needed. Food quality also falls short of what you’d expect from a 5-star hotel.
On the positive side, the hotel’s location is unbeatable — the entrance to the Mataf is right in front, and there’s a food court and shopping mall within the same building, so everything you need is under one roof.
Loved our stay at Hilton Jeddah. We were upgraded to the newly renovated rooms on level 5 which did not disappoint. Thank you to the reception team, Rawad, Samir and Waleed, and to the female staff on the ground floor who helped us with where to go and go - I forgot her name - but she was lovely and made our stay even better.
The location is central and the view on the Red Sea is great. Would stay here again
The ground-floor reception and two direct exits to the Grand Mosque make this hotel incredibly convenient and a big reason I would choose to stay here again. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with plenty of food and shopping options nearby, and the housekeeping staff are attentive and helpful. The dining area is large and well organised, with three buffet stations. The wide selection of pastries was a nice touch, though the breakfast dishes were mostly repeated and long queues often formed at the egg station. Including local desserts like kunafe would add a lovely local flavour. It was also a little sad to see food being wasted during breakfast, and having recycling bins near the lifts could help promote more sustainable practices.
Excellent atmosphere with ambiance and amazing breakfast with a wide variety and amenities include prayer room as well as meeting rooms a kids area gym and pool with jacuzzi.

Very Good
AAnonymous UserPrice: Very cheap for a 4-star hotel. Good value for money.
Location: Quite far, located in the an Naseem area, but like the vive there.
Shuttle bus : very excellent and very punctual.
Room: Overall okay, but the toilet is quite small.
Breakfast: Has a good variety, but the menu is almost the same every day. I stayed for 7 nights and ended up eating nearly the same items daily.
Staff: Generally okay, but there was a serious incident that affected my stay. One night, a bellman attempted to open my room door 2–3 times. Fortunately, I had engaged the inner lock, so he was unable to enter fully. He was accompanied by other outsiders, which was a clear breach of guest privacy and safety.
I immediately made a complaint to the reception. They offered a room upgrade, but the room change process took a very long time. I waited from before Maghrib until after Isya, and eventually had to go to the reception myself to follow up.
Wi-Fi: After changing to the new room, the Wi-Fi signal was very weak. I had to sit near the lift area just to get a stable and stronger internet connection, which was very inconvenient.
NNahimhaiderIt was about 15 mins walk from the haram, restaurants are nearby. There was a water boiler, tea and coffee in the room. The bathroom was clean and equipped.Try to book a room with a city view. Overall I was satisfied.
GGuest UserJumeira Jabbal Omar is a beautiful hotel Maashallah. The hotel, is very modern, clean and has an array of shops in the local building for quick access. It is a 4 minute walk from the haram and is in close proximity to gate 79 umrah entrance and also to clock tower.
The staff are very friendly and helpful.
Whilst the haram is close, you should still try to get to the haram early for prayer times as sometimes certain routes are closed thus redirecting mutamireen to alternate areas which may not be where you intended to be.
The one negative about the hotel is that it is located in an area of the haram that is not easily detected on google maps thus unable to order an uber from this hotel as a pickup point. This is however the case with several hotels close to the haram.
This was otherwise a lovely stay and in shaa Allah looking forward to returning soon.
GGuest UserI REALLY REALLY REALLY recommend this hotel. It is very clean and the overall service is amazing.
The shuttle bus to and from the haram comes every half hour, making the travel easy. It is a 5/10 minute walk to the masjid from the drop off point.
My elderly mother and father were able to stay here with ease and were very pleased likewise
Definitely worth the value AND more!
Thank you dearly Novotel for the pleasant stay.
GGULREZ SADIQ HUSSIAN SHAPOOMövenpick Hotel Makkah delivers a consistently strong four-star stay, anchored by an exceptional location steps from Al Masjid Al Haram. The property is well-managed, with comfortable rooms and dependable housekeeping standards.Service is professional and accommodating, particularly given the high guest volumes throughout the day.Facilities and dining are convenient and well-organized, though peak times can be busy.
Overall, it is a highly reliable choice for comfort and access, rated 4/5
GGuest UserOur stay was magnificent , everything was excellent Rooms, staff, services and food.
Very much recommended and for sure will come back….Thank you for the outstanding experience

MMas Yunanmy family and I stay at Pullman hotel to perform Umroh. The hotel located directly in front of Masjidil Haram and it is very helpful, especially for my little daughters.
anything we need is ready in the mall located in the building. The house keeping staffs were all very polite. One think to be improved is the elevators, sometimes we need to wait for the elevators, because the people visiting the malls are also using the elevators.
MM274823****The hotel is huge, but there was only one person at the front desk handling check-ins. I had to wait in line for at least half an hour to check in. You can't even get into the parking lot without having checked in first.
GGuest UserSecurity staff, specifically the younger ones are quite rude. They aggressively single you out if you don't look stereotypically wealthy and demand your hotel card at C level.
The pictures here are after I told them to clean the bathroom. Not sure what the cleanliness standard is at this hotel when it comes to bathrooms.
I also pointed out to what looks like an insect breading nest, the cleaner spinner me a story and said it was paint.
Now that I've got the negatives out of the way. We lived the location. The room itself was up to standard, just one day, I had to call numerous times to get it cleaned.
The food at the restaurants were top quality. Really enjoyed it.
