Among all the hotels I've stayed at in New York, this one is by far the best in terms of location, facilities, and service. If you're looking to stay in the Times Square area, this is truly the top choice. It's also very close to the subway entrance. Upon arrival, there's a $30 tax, but you'll receive a $10 voucher to use at the bar and restaurant downstairs. There's a supermarket right across the street from the hotel that has everything, even Chinese food!

Check-in was simple with friendly front desk workers who offered us bottled water from a refrigerator in the lobby. The room was very clean and well-equipped with tea, coffee, a refrigerator and microwave. I especially liked the fact that the floor was not carpeted but wood laminate, which is much easier to clean. The pool looked brand new and was open late. Breakfast was perfectly adequate, coffee, tea, yogurt, fruit, cereal, milk and protein bars with bags to pack for takeaway or to eat there. The location was perfect to visit The Corning Museum of Glass, which was under 10 minutes away.

I had a very bad experience with Suzanne, one of the receptionists on the checkout morning. She did not have professional manners and was not willing to give any information when asked about the deposits I made. I was surprised to witness her abrupt communication skills which are rare in hospitable sectors. I think the staff working at receptions are an image of the hotels and Suzanne’s behaviour and manners compromised the Seneca Hotel and Resort’s reputation.
The reason I write this review is to improve the staff performance and I do not have any intention to damage the particular staff’s career.

Great stay at YOTEL New York Times Square. The vibe felt modern, efficient, and a little futuristic. The rooms are clean, sleek, and surprisingly comfortable, especially the adjustable SmartBed—it was perfect for relaxing after a full day exploring the city. The floor-to-ceiling windows also added a great touch, letting in tons of natural light and offering a cool view of the city. One of the highlights was definitely the location. Being so close to Times Square made it incredibly convenient to get around. The rooftop terrace is a great spot to unwind and take in the skyline. The overall atmosphere of the hotel feels energetic yet comfortable, making it a great fit whether you’re visiting for fun or business. All in all, great recommendation by Trip.com.

I didn't expect that double tree brand room amenities is so basic and worst. Firstly don't provide kettle and secondly no bottle water given in the room. Thirdly no slippers.

Shabby and rundown hotel, simple breakfast with muffin as the main course. Additionally, the sound proofing in the rooms we're extremely poor as we could hear the sounds of our neighbours resulting in bad sleep. On the other hand rhe location was great as it was next to the highway and the enormous mall with attractions rhat will keep you entertained for days.

This hotel is really close to the Javits Center in New York, about a 10-minute walk, which was super convenient for my business trip. There are also convenience stores nearby, making daily life very easy. Of course, the facilities can't compare to hotels in China, as most hotels here are quite old. However, the environment and cleanliness were good, and the room was comfortable. For a week-long stay, they cleaned every two days, and it didn't affect service even if I didn't leave a tip, which was nice as it's not mandatory. Overall, it's quite friendly for Chinese travelers.🤭

The area feels relatively safe during the day, and the surrounding streets are lined with various restaurants, making dining very convenient. However, the room facilities are quite basic, perhaps a notch below what you'd expect from a similar-class hotel in China. The breakfast, consisting mainly of bread and pastries, isn't particularly elaborate. This hotel is probably best suited for business travelers or tourists.

If you're looking for an affordable star-rated hotel with well-maintained facilities, this is definitely your best bet. I only paid a little over 900 RMB per night when I booked.

LLucidLucyThe room itself was decent. Although it was a Hudson River view room, I couldn't see the Statue of Liberty. I had to ask the front desk for water, which was free and unlimited, but this wasn't mentioned during check-in. The soundproofing of the room door was terrible; I could hear every little noise from the hallway clearly. However, this seems to be common in New York; I stayed at a Hyatt a few days ago that was renovated 25 years ago, and the soundproofing was just as bad there.

GGuest UserThe price was quite a good deal for New York, especially with a discount. The facilities and decor are up to Hilton's standards, but!! It was incredibly, unbelievably crowded. Expect to wait about an hour just to park, with only one staff member working. Checking in at the front desk, buying coffee, and even storing luggage all involved long queues. It seems like a lot of airline crew stay here too, so definitely factor in extra time for everything. There are tons of hidden fees. The deposit was given as a voucher, luggage storage cost extra, and even the in-room mini-bar items were charged. Given the location and the total price of $150, I guess I'll just put up with it.

The room itself was spacious and well-arranged, with a perfectly soft and comfortable bed. The cleanliness was impeccable, with attention to detail evident – no strange odors or dust anywhere. Restaurants, shops, and public transportation were all easily accessible nearby. My only minor suggestion would be to offer a wider variety of breakfast options, but overall, it's excellent value for money and highly recommended. I would definitely consider staying here again.

Friendly and professional staff;
The location is excellent, within walking distance to the Empire State Building, Times Square, next to the New York Public Library and Bryant Park, and close to various bus stops at the subway entrance.
The surrounding security situation is safe, and there are no passers-by lying on the ground;
There are several Sichuan restaurants on the left and opposite of the store door, which are suitable for Chinese stomachs; there are also several bakeries nearby.
In short, because it is a newly renovated hotel in 22 years, even if it is not so famous, it is worth recommending.

AAFAH550The hotel's location is excellent, right near Fifth Avenue, and Grand Central Station is just downstairs. It's also convenient to find food nearby. The only downside is that the room is a bit old. The room itself is quite spacious, but the bathroom is too small and inconvenient to use. Everything else is fine. Of course, the room rate was very expensive during the World Cup.
