The Egyptian massage and sunset cruise were also fantastic. It was such a wonderful hotel that I'd love to stay here again on my next trip to Aswan, Egypt."

As for the services, there are literally uneducated people in the tourism industry working at the reception, such workers should not have contact with the client at all or should undergo training. "The hotel is located on a hillside, and there were packs of stray dogs on the road leading up to it. Overall, the hotel's decor is actually quite decent, but the rooms are more like guesthouse standard, especially the bathroom. The bath towels felt like they'd seen better days, I'd suggest bringing your own disposable ones. Other bedding seemed clean enough. The biggest issue, though, was the water – whether it was in the bathroom or for the coffee at breakfast, it had a very strong, unpleasant odor. It's about an 8-minute walk to the Old Waterfall Hotel and the Carrefour Chinese restaurant, which is fairly convenient."

First of all, you have to be able to tolerate: 1. The hotel price is not cost-effective in the peak season, and the B&B offers the price of a five-star hotel. 2. Poor room facilities, rough-style furniture and narrow rooms, worrying bed sheets, bathroom shower water overflowing and drainage is useless, no slippers, toothbrushes, hair dryers (phone front desk can provide). 3. Finally, it is explained that Egypt is not a country where tipping is allowed. Carrying luggage is a basic service of any hotel in their country. No one asked for tips during the entire stay."

"Benben is a beautiful place and the service is top notch. Why the 3 stars? Our room jacuzzi was way too hot to enter. On the first day they send someone over who added cold water so we could enjoy it. Then on the second day as we are coming back from our day trip and want to relax, we find out our jacuzzi is again way too hot. It’s not fun to wait for them to fix this issue when we want to go in right now and not in an hour or so. Also as a 5 stars hotel, the hot water kept running out in our shower after 15 minutes which is quite crazy. It shouldn’t be like this. Or else we loved everything. The food is really good, and as I said the staff/service is amazing."

"Lovely hotel right on the banks of the Nile. The people were nice if a bit awkward. The food menu was tired. The massage is nice but over priced. However, all of Aswan is over priced and it’s hard to find a massage in a Muslim country so we take what we can get. While I think they get a kick out of Crocodile lake it a little sad and serious PETA people could be upset. Gorgeous view though. Great pool and good bar!! Very clean. Comfortable bed and TV has lots of channels. WiFi is not great in your room as it is a brick building but better in lobby. Thanks so much for the boxed breakfasts and ice got our cooler!! I RECOMMEND to the hotel adding the menus to the google docs QR code. Would alleviate a lot of awkwardness."
