October is probably the off-season in Matrouh, with fewer guests and cheaper prices. The hotel is about a ten-minute walk from Cleopatra Beach. The hotel is considered clean for Egypt, has its own beach, and the environment is quite beautiful. The breakfast is plentiful, mainly featuring white food, but the taste is good. Hotel security is strict; every time you call a taxi, the security guard meticulously registers your information and asks where you're going and when you'll be back, ensuring guest safety – this is excellent. Overall, this hotel is very good for Matrouh.
The only downside is the yellowish shower water, indicating poor filtration, so it doesn't feel very clean. However, this is acceptable, especially in Egypt, particularly in Matrouh. Overall, it's a good hotel.
The hotel has a great atmosphere, and the owner and staff are incredibly welcoming! They provide hot water and hairdryers for showers, and you can let them know if you need anything else. The hotel guide even took us sightseeing for a day – the service was superb! They helped us bargain for things and tickets, and even took us to the station to buy tickets for us. They were so incredibly kind 🥺, I'll definitely come back again!

Rixos Alamein, a modern, luxury all-inclusive resort boasts a prime position on the unspoilt, northern Mediterranean coast. El Alamein is an up and coming destination and therefore offers a quieter retreat than its better-known sister resorts on the Red Sea. Rixos Alamein offers guests a treasure trove of activities and entertainment to indulge in, creating wonder and enjoyment for all guests.
Because it is the off-season for tourism, the surrounding shops are not open. Fortunately, there is food in the hotel. The service is pretty good. You can order food and it will be delivered to your door. The sea in the hotel is also very beautiful.
The hotel staff were incredibly nice, and the environment was good too. Toiletries were provided. They even upgraded our room when we arrived late at night, which we really appreciated! For breakfast, there were a lot of Western-style food options.
Staff service attitude is very enthusiastic and friendly, I forgot to inform the front desk staff need two beds, after entering the room, the staff immediately called the front desk to notify the change, he sent us directly to the new room, another staff gave us the room card, very high responsiveness, saved a lot of time.
The hotel rooms are clean and spacious, the toilets are well-equipped, and it was the first of the seven hotels I stayed in during my travels in Egypt that had slippers available and the bathing equipment was branded ELLE, which enhanced the image of the hotel.
The inquiry desk colleagues across from the front desk were very professional, and I answered questions about transportation times to the city center and restaurants, etc., and the answers were clear and accurate.
The breakfast restaurant is also the richest I have encountered, whether it is the variety of juices, the variety of bread and cheese, beyond my imagination.
As for the swimming pool and beach, since I spent all my time exploring the nearby tourist attractions, I didn’t have time to experience it in person, I could only watch it from the balcony of the room, but I felt that the beach part should be good.
The ATM machine in the hotel lobby is a good facility, which is very convenient for guests.
Only some shops are missing.
The hotel as a whole has been comparable to many international brand hotels.

Amazing
AAliHamidoúThis is my second time staying at this property, and it continues to exceed my expectations. I opted for the sea view room this time, and the scenery is truly indescribable; the beauty of the view is something you have to experience in person. The service remains top-notch across the board. I would like to specifically commend Moataz at the front desk for his professionalism and class. Additionally, Another Moataz at the outdoor lounge was exceptional. He is the epitome of authentic service and creates a magnificent atmosphere for every guest. His ability to connect with people while maintaining a high standard of hospitality is impressive, and he clearly possesses the leadership qualities of a manager. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a perfect stay.

MMR M-HAmazing place, really clean, really spacious. Plenty to do.
I advise take a car with you as it is about 1-1.20 hours from Alexandria.
Also book the hotel between July- end of august.
There is a indoor pool which is heated and an outdoor pool which is cold, they also have a beach, gym, sauna, jacuzzi but the time I went the jacuzzi and sauna was not on or available.
The have a room that has two small snook tables, a outdoor football 🥅 ⚽️ pitch/court, basketball ball 🏀 court and a tennis/Badminton 🏸 🎾 court.
Water park, late night entertainment.
The women called Sara at the Concierge is very helpful very professional. Hospitality was amazing from her think she was the manager. She even allowed me to have a late check out without any charge but the staff in very helpful. Very friendly.
The hotel is very spacious and the rooms are very spacious.
The food was fine but nothing spectacular.
MMarawanGood luxury hotel, about 2 hours away from main city Alexandria. Was quite empty when we visted (1st week of October). The room was very clean and comfy, beach was great and the staff are very pleasant. We didn't get to try the pools but they seemed good too. Selection for breakfast and dinner was good, if not exquisite.
My only small remark is that at this price range, I have stayed in more luxurious hotels in Hurghada, with all-inclusive access and better reataurants. It's a small nitpick, but I had to say it, since most hotels at this price range are quite close in quality and only the small details differ. I do understand the closeness advantage for north coast hotels vs Hurghada so that must be factored into the price.
