"Choosing Mana Island was the right choice! I had a wonderful, fulfilling stay on this remote island. I enjoyed snorkeling in the crystal-clear waters, and there were several events planned throughout the day, so I was never bored. Snorkeling is available on both the north and south sides, so even if the wind or waves are bad, you can still swim on either side. You'll have to take a boat from the main island to Mana Island, but be aware that it's incredibly expensive. (As of August 31, 2025, the one-way fare was 12,000 yen. 😂) If you're going, I recommend staying multiple nights! Diving with Aqua Trek Mana, a Japanese-based resort, requires you to either stay at the hotel or take a day trip."

Welcome to our private island. Its our pleasure to greet you with songs-generous smiles and a happy Bula Welcome home. Our traditional bure bungalows styled with vaulted ceilings of hand-painted tapa cloth offer air-conditioned comfort. Stroll brilliant beaches scuba dive to divine depths and dine on award-winning fusion cuisine at Restaurant 1808. Share every joyful moment with your children in an atmosphere graced by embracing Fijian hospitality.

"The hotel facilities are relatively old, probably because I stayed at Six Senses first and then this hotel, so there is a clear contrast. Fiji taxi drivers are dishonest and don't give change. The service attitude and concept of Fiji hotels are really different from those of Southeast Asian hotels. In short, it is not worth the money. The housekeeper is still very enthusiastic and can speak Chinese, so communication is very convenient."

"Beachcomber Island Resort is an incredible place to stay, mainly thanks to its outstanding location. The island itself is absolutely stunning — the beach, the pool, and especially the crystal-clear turquoise water are beyond beautiful. It truly feels like a tropical paradise and is perfect for relaxing or enjoying the ocean. That said, there are several issues regarding the rooms. Cleanliness clearly needs improvement — the bedsheets were dirty, and housekeeping only came once during a four-night stay. The bathroom also had noticeable problems: the shower area wasn’t properly sealed, which caused water to leak underneath the tiles, leading to an unpleasant sewage smell. There were also cockroaches in the room, which was disappointing. Additionally, depending on where your room is located, it can be quite far from the reception. The staff, however, are extremely welcoming, kind, and always willing to help. Their attitude is definitely a highlight of the stay. On the downside, the service can be quite slow at times, and requests are occasionally forgotten. Overall, despite these inconveniences, I would still recommend Beachcomber Island Resort 100% for its value for money. In my opinion, it’s one of the best islands to stay on in Fiji if you’re looking for a beautiful setting at a reasonable price."

"Four of us stayed at Muskoka Resort on Malolo Lailai Island for three days. This tropical island hotel is very special, with unique ethnic decoration style, rich and diverse meals, and various special activities. We stayed for three days and every day was very fulfilling. What surprised us most was the free snorkeling activity of the hotel. Under the guidance of the teacher, we saw colorful fish and corals, which was an eye-opener! Most of the service staff on the island are also very enthusiastic. When we met on the road, we always said enthusiastically: ”Bu La!” (Fijian ”Hello!”). "We stayed on Serenity Island for four nights and took the last boat (5 pm) back on our final day. We had booked the boat pickup from the marina through the hotel, assuming it would be ready upon our arrival. However, we later found out that it didn’t actually depart until 6 pm. The restaurant food was fine, but the menu never changed, apart from the chef’s special offered at lunch and dinner. If you’re staying for more than a couple of nights, as we did, you’ll likely find yourself repeating the same dishes. During one lunch, we waited an hour for our meals — mine arrived first, and I had finished eating by the time my partner’s dish finally came. We were only made aware of a few tours during our stay and were disappointed to discover, on the day of our departure, a newly displayed schedule of weekly activities such as cooking classes and Fijian language lessons. Unfortunately, we didn’t see any of these offered while we were there and felt we missed out on some great experiences we would have loved to join."

As the day unfolds, discover flavours that travel just as far—most notably at Curcuma, the Mamanuca Islands’ only Asian-Indian fusion restaurant, alongside relaxed, oceanview dining at WaiTui House and sunset cocktails at Sala Lounge & Bar.From sunlit afternoons by the infinity pool to evenings shaped by culture, connection, and shared moments, every experience is designed to bring you closer to the natural beauty of the island and the warmth of Fijian hospitality.

"I saw some reviews saying this Sheraton is better than the one on the main island, and I agree, especially regarding the rooms. The beachfront rooms we stayed in had amazing views and felt very private. However, this hotel is much smaller than the main island's Sheraton. The buffet food was just okay, but the à la carte options were decent. For those on a full-board package, lunch and dinner can be ordered à la carte, with three courses per person. The Sheraton's service, environment, and hygiene were all excellent."

"Matamanoa Island was the highlight of our 2 week Fiji trip. Thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay on the Island - this was the true Fiji you dream of, warm/hot weather, blue skies, sunshine, lapping clear blue ocean, snorkelling off the beach, beautiful infinity swimming pool, relaxing meals & comfortable accommodation along with friendly staff. Great overall resort experience & enjoyed the relaxing evening entertainment, staff singing/guitars & serenade singing as well as knife throwing/dancing & fire show. The restaurant is only one which some may find a little restrictive but after travelling around Viti Levu & other resorts for 10 days prior, not havibng to choose or decide where to go to eat was actually kinda nice. Breakfasts were American style, fruit & pastries/choices of cereal/starters & then cooked options of egg styles & fish - we ate a lot of fish !! All brought to your table & included in room rate. Great substantial breakfast, making you feel very lazy for the rest of the day. We did some snorkelling of beach (I stayed close to shore) but hubby went out further to reef & saw some big fish/starfish etc. We took out the hobbycat briefly one afternoon, would liked to have had time to do again. Took the guided snorkelling trip one afternoon - with 20 of us / 2-3 guides. Out to deeper reef...I was very nervous but stayed close to hubby & guide & after a while really relaxed & thoroughly enjoyed - really recommend this little trip. A friend from NZ who had just been, also recommended this trip. Others on island were doing the Village trip to another island but we just ran out of time & had seen quite a few villages on Viti Levu. I could have easily stayed 5-7 nights - was just really wound down & just loved it."

Hygienic: The island hotel inevitably still has some sand, especially the outdoor bathroom and swimming pool, and some small bugs. But basically it is still very clean, and the housekeeper will slippers when he enters the door. Environment: The environment is super good, the beach villa booked, the beach and the sea are out. Facilities: The room has two indoor and outdoor bathrooms, and the outdoor bathroom has a bathtub. There are one large, two small and three lounge chairs by the pool, and there are exclusive beds on the beach, where you can lie down and watch the sea. There are plenty of activities, free paddle boards, kayaks, water bikes and snorkeling masks, free ice cream every day, and open-air cinemas at night. Snorkeling, motorboats, cooking classes, yoga classes and more are also available for a fee. By the way, the massage is super good, the housekeeper said it is the first of all hotels in Fiji. If the island fee is a boat, it is 440 Fijian dollars per person, and the price of the island is the same. Service: Everyone will say Bula when you see you, everyone will ask your name when you first see you, and will definitely remember you next time.

We really enjoyed our stay at Serinity sands glamping. The glamping tents are brand new and really fancy!  The infinity pool was stunning with sea views. The sunbeds were the comfiest. The decor around the pool/ restaurant is stunning.  Great to have access to a gym whilst on the island.  We loved the turtle feeding & the activities they provided each day! We really enjoyed having a tea and cookie in the afternoon also, was a nice treat! The staff were very friendly everywhere we went and always helpful!  Thanks  Matt

Stayed for 2 nights and felt that the house was clean. There was no hot water for showering on the first day, but there was hot water on the second day. The living environment is good, you can see the sea from the window, and the hotel has good greenery. The food was generally good. I had four main meals, one was simple, and the other three were rich and self-service, with meat and vegetables, moderately salty. Breakfast is a little simple, with juice, milk, bread slices, etc. You don't have to pay extra for the fried eggs you want. Drinking water is provided for each meal and is provided by yourself. The service attitude is also OK.
