This hotel is absolutely gorgeous! From the lobby and guest rooms to the views and facilities, the value for money is simply impeccable!
Since I was traveling solo and had no language barriers, I used a combination of public transportation and hiking through farmland and up mountains. It was quite a journey, but the scenery along the way, especially the sudden appearance of the sea at the end, was incredibly refreshing!
The hotel actually provides a free shuttle bus to and from the hotel. For pick-up, you need to contact them in advance (I didn't have experience with this). For drop-off/drop-off, you just need to book the night before. Why bother with public transportation?
Excellent value for over 1600. The front desk staff spoke good English and gave us a room with a view facing Legoland. The hotel facilities are very kid-friendly, and the restaurant serves food that children love. Don't forget to open the safe in your room – it comes with a bag of LEGO toys! For dining, I recommend the street behind the hotel, Maker's Pier, which offers a wide variety of choices. The hotel also has a children's pool where kids can play and even build their own life raft. Be sure to book in advance; reservations for the afternoon or evening slots open at 12 PM, and each session is 30 minutes long. There's also a small children's playground next to the restaurant.

The room is quite spacious. The furnishings felt a bit dated but the housekeeping crew did a nice job of keeping the room very clean. My only complaint was that you cannot turn on the air con during winter time, because the thermostat was locked. Even after we had turned off the heating, it was still hot and stuffy. The window can only be partially opened, so the staff brought us an electric fan.
Thumbs up to the staff for their impeccable service. All our requests -- whether it was making a dinner reservation, fixing a leaking faucet or booking a taxi to the bus terminal -- were attended to promptly and competently.
The hotel is in a convenient location. There is a 24-hr drug store and a FamilyMart just around the corner. The bus terminal at Oasis 21, Sakae Station(Subway), Sakaemachi Station (Meitetsu Seto Line), Hisaya-odori Park, Mirai Tower and several department stores are only a few blocks away.
The drop-off point for the airport limousine is right in front of the hotel, though you have to go to the bus terminal to board the bus bound for the airport.
The check-in process was a bit of a hassle. It was my first time staying at a motel in Japan, and I wasn't familiar with the procedures. When I got to the front desk, there wasn't a single staff member, which I understand, as motels are usually quite secluded. However, the front desk didn't provide any instructions on how to check in. I wandered around for a while before finally finding a phone next to the machine in the exit corridor (since the entry and exit corridors are separate). I tried calling it, and thankfully someone answered immediately. I told them I was there to check in, and someone quickly came to help me… This was a great experience, and I'm so glad I found that phone; otherwise, I don't know how long I would have had to wait to check in…

The service at the reception on the 18th floor and in the rooms was excellent, and the swimming pool and gym staff were also great. However, the service at the Wu Ren (懷石料理) and Italian Cava Nova restaurants was really lacking. For Wu Ren, which is supposed to be a top-tier kaiseki restaurant, the sommelier and the servers bringing dishes had poor English and seemed unwilling to communicate. It felt like they just wanted to drop off the food and leave, expecting guests to read the menu themselves. While this might be acceptable in other casual restaurants, is it the standard for a kaiseki establishment? The hotel should clarify if this is indeed their service protocol. The Italian restaurant was even worse – they offered virtually no service. They were initially friendly, but as soon as they heard English, they immediately said there were no tables available, shooed us away with a gesture, and turned their heads and walked off. The hotel also needs to confirm if this is their standard service procedure for this restaurant.

Extremely convenient and nice location! So close to all different trains /lines. So close to department stores.
Rooms are clean, no smell at all, good ventilation in the washroom, epic view from the windows (probably we stayed for 5 nights, so rooms from higher floors were given :D)
If I have to be picky: the pillows are a bit too soft
otherwise not much else to complain
Will definitely stay here again if I visit Nagoya in future!

Hilton Nagoya
📍 **Location:** Conveniently situated in the heart of Nagoya, the hotel is just a 5-minute walk from Nagoya Station. This prime location offers easy access to the Shinkansen (bullet train), subway, and Meitetsu lines, making it incredibly convenient for exploring shopping areas like Sakae and Osu Kannon, or visiting Nagoya Castle. With convenience stores and drugstores nearby, it's perfect for both business and leisure travelers.
True to Japanese hotel standards, the cleanliness is impeccable. Both the guest rooms and public areas are well-maintained, showing no signs of age or wear and tear. Higher floor rooms offer stunning panoramic views of the Nagoya Station area's nightscape.
The front desk staff are professional and communicate fluently in English, and room service is prompt and efficient.
On a separate note, we encountered a minor issue during our stay. However, two managers were incredibly helpful and quickly resolved the problem to our complete satisfaction. Many thanks to them for their excellent assistance! 🙏
The facility is suitable for the years, but the building is large and large. It is far from the parking lot and there is a difficulty. There are minimal accessories in the room, so there is no problem. The food was deliciously cooked and I was satisfied.

I really like TIAD's decor, which is why I chose it over a very well-located Marriott. It's right above a subway exit. To get to Nagoya JR Station, you need to transfer twice, so a taxi is more convenient, costing between 1900-2200 JPY. The hotel's amenities are outstanding, including a Bioprogramming hairdryer (though only 4D). They provide London EH toiletries, and the bedding is incredibly comfortable. There's even underfloor heating in front of the sink. Overall, the experience was great, but the turndown service could be a bit more attentive.
The view of the sea from the window of the room was superb. However, I wanted to go out to the balcony, but it was a pity that the door did not open due to the sea breeze.
It was difficult to understand where the toilet in the room was flushed. I thought it would be a better hotel if it was renewed.
The large communal bath was pleasant. The windows of the Western-style room were devised not to condensate, but they did not function for about half.
3 I went by person, but the triple bed room was very good.

GGuest UserI had a very good trip, this time I use it for the second time, I used lunch with my child many times before, I will use it again. Thank you
GGuest UserI stayed alone in a triple-bed room, but it was spacious and comfortable. I wasn't able to eat breakfast this time, but it was delicious the last time I had it. The breakfast area was also spacious, so I could eat without worrying about others. The lobby was also spacious and comfortable. I think it would be more popular if there was a large public bath on the top floor.
