This hotel is absolutely gorgeous! From the lobby and guest rooms to the views and facilities, the value for money is simply impeccable!
Since I was traveling solo and had no language barriers, I used a combination of public transportation and hiking through farmland and up mountains. It was quite a journey, but the scenery along the way, especially the sudden appearance of the sea at the end, was incredibly refreshing!
The hotel actually provides a free shuttle bus to and from the hotel. For pick-up, you need to contact them in advance (I didn't have experience with this). For drop-off/drop-off, you just need to book the night before. Why bother with public transportation?
Fantastic theming in the rooms and hotel generally. Great for our 2 and 4 year old boys. The gifts inside the Treasure Chest are great. The breakfast buffet was also quite good. We also spent two nights at Disney Resort Toy Story hotel and found the Legoland Hotel to be better. The only things I think could be improved would be the sound proofing of rooms - our kids slept at 8pm and you can hear all the kids/people talking and walking in the hallway outside. The water play area also gets booked out literally one minute after it opens (12pm) so we had no chance to use it even though I was on the website at 12.09pm. It feels a bit like false advertising of a hotel feature when it’s not even possible to access.

An older, established hotel with spacious rooms, perfect for a family trip. The lobby is quite grand and had a lovely Christmas atmosphere. The room came with an air purifier and carpeted floors, and you could open the window slightly. A heads-up for families with kids: be aware that the TV has paid content; accidentally selecting it will incur a charge. It's a bit of a walk to the subway station, and also a fair distance from the Sakae shopping district.
I made a reservation just because it was cheap, including Vijiho, but it was a very comfortable space. Since it is an adult hotel, the bed was large and I could sleep comfortably. It was good to have breakfast and choose Western or Japanese food.

The airport shuttle drops you off right at the hotel entrance. Since I arrived early, the front desk attendant kindly offered to store my luggage. When I returned in the evening after exploring, I checked in. My room was on the 16th floor, as requested, and the bed was set up exactly how I wanted it. Despite facing the street, the room was incredibly quiet; I couldn't hear any noise from outside or the hallway.
The hotel is conveniently located just a 6-7 minute walk from Fushimi Station, which is only one stop away from both Nagoya Station and Sakae Station. The hotel exudes an old-money charm, but it's exceptionally well-maintained, elegant, and spotless. The staff greeted every guest warmly. The room was quite spacious, and having a walk-in closet was a great bonus. It was cleaned daily, and the mini-fridge drinks were complimentary. The toiletries were Bulgari.
Across from the hotel is Shimo-en Park, and the airport shuttle stop is right by the park, making it very convenient for families with multiple pieces of luggage or elderly members. Overall, the Nagoya Kanko Hotel left a profoundly positive impression on my trip to Nagoya.

Absolutely fantastic! As someone who's stayed in numerous five-star hotels, this one still managed to impress me! The facilities are incredibly well-maintained. Check-in and check-out were a breeze, with no long queues or waiting, and the service easily handled the large number of guests. The views are unbeatable, and the location is super convenient. There are various train and subway lines right downstairs, making it incredibly easy to get to city attractions, shopping areas, or even other cities. We went to the airport directly from the first-floor exit via a sky bridge straight to the Meitetsu line – no umbrella needed, it was so convenient! Plus, Takashimaya is downstairs, offering one-stop shopping and dining. You can shop, drop your bags off in your room, and then head right back down to explore more. I highly recommend this hotel, especially for first-time visitors to Nagoya and those who rely on public transportation. It's a truly hassle-free stay!

Hilton Nagoya
📍 **Location:** Conveniently situated in the heart of Nagoya, the hotel is just a 5-minute walk from Nagoya Station. This prime location offers easy access to the Shinkansen (bullet train), subway, and Meitetsu lines, making it incredibly convenient for exploring shopping areas like Sakae and Osu Kannon, or visiting Nagoya Castle. With convenience stores and drugstores nearby, it's perfect for both business and leisure travelers.
True to Japanese hotel standards, the cleanliness is impeccable. Both the guest rooms and public areas are well-maintained, showing no signs of age or wear and tear. Higher floor rooms offer stunning panoramic views of the Nagoya Station area's nightscape.
The front desk staff are professional and communicate fluently in English, and room service is prompt and efficient.
On a separate note, we encountered a minor issue during our stay. However, two managers were incredibly helpful and quickly resolved the problem to our complete satisfaction. Many thanks to them for their excellent assistance! 🙏

An absolutely delightful stay at TIAD! The staff were exceptionally warm and attentive, the room was spacious, spotless, and felt brand-new (everything shines!). Also loved the complimentary breakfast with its wide variety of fresh, delicious options. Already looking forward to returning!
The view of the sea from the window of the room was superb. However, I wanted to go out to the balcony, but it was a pity that the door did not open due to the sea breeze.
It was difficult to understand where the toilet in the room was flushed. I thought it would be a better hotel if it was renewed.
The large communal bath was pleasant. The windows of the Western-style room were devised not to condensate, but they did not function for about half.
3 I went by person, but the triple bed room was very good.

It’s a great hotel located in the heart of Nagoya - Sakae is a great spot to see attractions and plenty of food options nearby. You can see Oasis21 and Mirai Tower, the ferris wheel and the restaurants nearby. You can do Lawson runs and enjoy the overall comfort of the hotel. The Breakfast is awesome and I highly recommend getting it. Grindelwald was nice as well!
We booked a family room with 3 single beds. The room is spacious with a separate bath room (With separate bath tub and shower area) and a room with toilet and wash basin. It also comes with a closet! Overall, the staying experience is excellent. Staffs are very nice and friendly. I guess the only minor thing is you need to change lifts as the main lobby is at 15/F of the Central Tower (Their rooms are above 15/F).
Room we got was big and comfortable for our family of 3. Room was a bit dated but still very clean. Housekeeping was good. Hotel lobby has nice Christmas decorations.
Our stay was excellent, mainly thanks to the fantastic location close to tourist spots and the shore. The facilities are well maintained, even though the furniture and building are a bit old. Most rooms are traditional Japanese ryokan style, offering a wonderful atmosphere, and it seems nearly all have ocean views facing Takeshima Island. I didn’t get a chance to visit the onsen, so I can’t comment on that. The breakfast has a wide selection, mostly Japanese-style dishes, and most guests appear to be of older age.
The view from the room, the onsen and the pool is wonderful, it's worth the experience! The amenities are okay although the building is old it looks like it has been renovated the rooms are new and the beds are very comfortable! Excellent dinner and breakfast!
