"The hotel is conveniently located on the island, right next to a beach where you can swim, and there are many diverse cafes nearby. The hotel has everything you need: its own cafe, a swimming pool, Wi-Fi, and they organize any excursions and transfers. The staff are very attentive and always smiling, doing their best to accommodate all your needs. I recommend booking a ground-floor room; it's much larger than the others and has direct access to the pool. We really enjoyed everything and will definitely be back."

Whitewashed timber villas with thatched roofs are perched in the lagoon and linked to the island by wooden walkways while the suites are tucked into the fragrant gardens A white-sand beach rings the island and the reef has its own dedicated shipwreck

"This was my wife and I's first time in the Maldives, and it was also our honeymoon. We chose Centara as our hotel for this trip. From the moment we arrived at Male Airport, we felt the warmth of the staff. I especially commend housekeeper Shifan for his dedication to guest care and professionalism. He also visited our room every day, rain or shine, to make sure we were comfortable. His actions were truly heartwarming. The hotel's facilities were comprehensive, but our favorite was the water sports center. My wife and I both enjoy diving, and the hotel offers a wide variety of snorkeling excursions and water activities. The staff is attentive and helpful in providing recommendations tailored to your needs. For those who enjoy diving, the island's dive center has excellent diving spots and a shipwreck site."

"Our recent stay at Radisson Blu Maldives was nothing short of extraordinary, and we simply have to give credit to the incredible team that made it so special. My family and I, along with an extended family member, celebrated our anniversary here, and every single staff member went above and beyond to make it unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, the airport pickup and drop-off service was seamlessly managed, setting the tone for the rest of our stay. The buggy drivers around the resort were always prompt, cheerful, and attentive. We were especially touched by the personalized attention to detail throughout our stay. Chamara and Chef Bandara went out of their way to understand our food preferences and customized menus, even tailoring options specifically for our kids — a thoughtful touch that made mealtimes so much easier. Nujoom and Retheesh, our waiters, served us with warmth and genuine care at every meal. A special mention to Mahavir at the bar, who continued serving us with a smile even past his closing time — that level of dedication truly stood out. Haittey from the admin staff ensured our entire holiday ran smoothly, handling every request effortlessly. Housekeeping, especially Depa, deserves a huge thank you for beautifully decorating our room for our anniversary celebration — it made the occasion feel truly magical. The restaurant staff, in general, were consistently attentive and friendly, and honestly, there are so many more team members who contributed to making our trip perfect that we can't name them all. Radisson Blu Maldives isn't just a beautiful property — it's the people who make it a truly world-class experience. We left feeling like family, not just guests. Highly, highly recommend this resort for anyone looking for a personalized, luxurious, and heartfelt Maldivian getaway. We can't wait to return!"

The Maldives is one of those places that continues to pop up on every travelers’ bucket list. And for a very good reason! If you’ve always dreamt of living a lavish Robinson Crusoe life on a faraway tropical island, then LUX* South Ari Atoll is just the spot for you. Swim alongside whale sharks, hang out in your bungalow on stilts, ride your bicycle along the jetty, dine at speciality restaurants, dance the night away, partake in marine conservation...whatever you love, you’ll find it at LUX* South Ari Atoll.

"It was my first time to visit Lux Maldives. Although it was an all-inclusive package, I was asked to pay an extra 500+ USD for lunch without any notice from the hotel or the housekeeper. The seaplane time we were notified before going to the island was 15:30, but when we arrived at the Lux seaplane lounge, we were notified that we could only fly at 17:00. After arriving on the island, the butler told us that the first two days were all-inclusive. We could enjoy any restaurant except Italian and Japanese restaurants for free, including bars and cafes, etc. Since we arrived on the island at more than 6 o'clock in the evening, dinner was included that night, and the next day's breakfast, lunch and dinner were all included in the all-inclusive package, and the day after that was breakfast and lunch. Since the children got up late the next day, they went swimming after breakfast, and went back to the room for a nap when they were tired of swimming. When they woke up at about three o'clock, they packed up and went to beach rouge for lunch. Because the butler would send the business hours of various restaurants for the next day the day before, we saw that beach rouge's business hours were 12:00-17:00, but when we paid the bill, we were told that we had to pay more than 500 US dollars at our own expense. I asked the butler myself and was told that lunch after 14:00 in the afternoon would be at our own expense. OK, no problem, if the hotel or butler informed us in advance when checking in, we would definitely pay attention to control the lunch time before 14:00. However, without any notice and without our room rate including lunch, and the restaurant's lunch hours clearly stated 12:00-17:00, you insisted on asking us to pay for it ourselves. Of course I couldn't agree. This is clearly your dereliction of duty. Why should I pay for it? It's too deceptive. It feels so bad 👎 The experience was very bad, and you didn't let us leave without signing the bill. Obviously, you didn't inform us during our stay, and we strictly abided by the lunch hours issued by the housekeeper. When checking in, it was also clearly stated that lunch was included in the room rate that day. I can't stand it 😓 I will defend my rights to the end! Another thing is that we experienced a storm the night before leaving the island. The room we stayed in was a romantic water pool villa, which required us to walk a long way every day. Buggy was not responsible for picking up guests from the water villa, so we had to walk or ride a bicycle by ourselves. That night, it was stormy and windy. We waited in the restaurant for a long time but it didn't get better, so we decided to go back to the room with an umbrella. On the way, my child and I were almost blown off the pier and fell into the sea, and there were no protective measures on both sides of the pier. Thinking about it afterwards, I was really scared. If I couldn't hold the umbrella and was blown into the sea by the wind, I would never come back. Because the wind and waves are huge, those who want to book a water villa must be cautious!!!"

We stayed at a nice villa, which was in great condition and well equipped, it also provided us privacy and quietness. The food was nice, but not great. I would recommend to have more options for fruits and vegetables, other than that the seafood was very good. The whole resort is very well maintained and stuff is taking great care of its condition. Do not read negative comments on internet - I can guarantee you that they are not honest and genuine. I would recommend it Fiyavalhu 100%!"

"We stayed at the water villas for 7 days. The villas: The view is nice. The beds are comfortable. Although, They are quite old inside, probably built 10 years ago, and need some restructuring. Mainly, our bathroom had a constant bad smell. This smell goes through the shower water and stays with you afterwards. Activities: We tried to get on a snorkeling safari for 7 days in a row but it was constantly canceled due to either lack of enough people or unreasonably overly protective staff that was worried for some weak wind. Same happened for the house reef, which was also closed for many days due to some weak wind. We also wanted to rent a canoe but were not allowed to because of the wind. This is very disappointing as the weather was incredibly good, with sunshine most of the time with +30°. The resort is in general too worried about safety and we were very bored of this as a rather active couple, it felt like a golden prison. Food: The food is great but it’s the same every single day. Furthermore, they charge a fortune for basic soft drinks Transportation nightmare: To reach out the resort you need a seaplane or domestic flight from main airport. However, the departure dates are only known the day before. For our arrival, it was a disaster: we called the resort for a week in a row to get some estimate of the dates clarifying that we cannot fly before 9 am because we cannot be physically there in the airport earlier. The staff confirmed to us to not worry and that they will get us an afternoon flight. The day before our trip to the resort, we received some automated email saying our flight is at 8am. I immediately called the resort to solve this and they assured me it’s solve and that our seaplane flight will be at 5pm. The next day we arrive at 3 pm and at the gate they told us that we missed our flight because we were booked for 10 am with a domestic flight instead of a sea plane. A total nightmare. Thankfully they managed to shift us to the 5pm flight after some escalation. Really bad way To start our holiday. For the return seaplane flight, it was a total nightmare again. We asked many times for an estimate of the departure time from the resort, requesting a late checkout. They assured us that they will do it. For all days no reply on any estimate of the departure. On our last night, at 9pm they informed us that our flight will be at 6am the next day, with checkout at 5 am, which means waking up at 4 am to get ready. We basically were in shock for the short notice and for such an early flight. All our requests were completely ignored. Thisis unacceptable from a 5 star resort. We asked for rescheduling and they denied it initially. Finally after many discussions and after we escalated to the head manager, we were finally rebooked for a normal flight at 11 am. General advice, this is a resort for families. The staff is very inefficient and disorganized. In general they are conflict avoidant which leads to inconveniences. They say yes to everything without actually doing it. As an advice , escalate to managers if needed, they are the only way to get a real answer"

"This is my second time to Maldives Hotel service attitude is very poor 1) Poor arrangement of seaplane I was the last seaplane to arrive on the island, unfortunately I encountered a seaplane delay It was dark when we arrived at the island. 2) Downgrade Room I have booked a water massage room and paid in full! But when the last seaplane arrived at the island, the hotel said that the room I booked had been sold out and could not be provided to me, so I was arranged to stay in the most basic sand house. It was not until the next day that a water villa was available for me to stay in. It’s neither reasonable nor fair. In the end, I spent several hours arguing with the hotel, and the hotel manager also showed up before they were willing to refund the difference. It was originally intended to be a celebration of the anniversary, but the hotel's arrangements ruined the mood of the celebration As it was already dark, the hotel staff said they would introduce the island facilities to me when I changed rooms the next day. The facilities were not introduced until the second day. I don't know what activities there are on the island. I don't even know the restaurant's opening hours. Hotel hardware support The hotel has a beautiful environment, new and clean rooms Sharks can be seen within the hotel area There are many colorful fish Diet There are 3 restaurants and 2 hotels in total 1 is a buffet (breakfast, lunch, dinner) 1 is a Western restaurant AI only choose 3 dishes (dinner) 1 is a Japanese restaurant AI does not include additional charges (night)"

"The administrative handling was terrible. They messed up our personal information; if we hadn't proactively checked, our departure flight wouldn't have been booked in time. Furthermore, even after knowing our international flight arrival time early on, they waited until after the free cancellation period had passed – and even just a week before our check-in date – to inform us that there would be no transportation available to the resort upon arrival. They then demanded that we arrange our own accommodation near the airport or suggested we change our flight. On top of that, they refused any refund for the first night's stay that we couldn't use due to their staff's incompetence, and didn't even offer a basic apology. On the day we were finally able to check in, we were left waiting at the airport for over an hour before staff picked us up to arrange our seaplane check-in. Another couple was also waiting for a long time, looking completely lost. From booking to check-in, there were countless email communications, but in the end, it all amounted to ineffective communication. In stark contrast, when we transferred to another resort later, everything from check-in to check-out and even departure from the international airport went incredibly smoothly. The experience was the complete opposite of what we had at Lily Beach Resort. This stay was extremely disappointing. If it weren't for the Maldivian ocean, this resort would be utterly worthless. The staff's efficiency and their arrogant attitude were utterly laughable. The buffet food quality at the resort was also quite mediocre."

This was my wife and I's first time in the Maldives, and it was also our honeymoon. For those who enjoy diving, the island's dive center has excellent diving spots and a shipwreck site.

The resort is beautiful, but the service was disappointing compared to other places I’ve stayed. Staff professionalism needs improvement. I booked a Half-Board Water Villa, but only breakfast and dinner were included—drinking water at dinner wasn’t complimentary. The food selection was limited and not particularly tasty. Service felt inattentive. I had to introduce myself multiple times, yet our butler still got my name wrong. On checkout day, we even received a message that felt like we were being rushed out—quite impolite. One male staff member also made guests uncomfortable by asking for their contact details, which felt unprofessional. Buggy service was slow. Once at the lobby, the receptionists ignored us and continued chatting even after the buggy had arrived, until the driver had to come find us himself. It was frustrating. The underwater restaurant is photogenic, but hot and full of fish. Food was average—bring sunglasses, a hat, and lots of sunscreen. This was my fourth luxury resort experience, and unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend this one. Beautiful property, but poor service. Not worth the price. Needs improvement.

It is a very well-kept resort with various environmental sustainability certifications, very quiet (there are no noisy activities, apart from some music after dinner in the bar area). The strong points are the services and care of both the common areas and the rooms, an excellent restaurant which varies the menu daily with ”themed” ideas. On the island there is an excellent diving center professionally managed by Euro-divers, perhaps just a little expensive in prices, especially in the case of family packages or other combinations that include a certain number of dives. The island's reef has a good variety of corals and fish and is easily accessible from several points.

The administrative handling was terrible. The buffet food quality at the resort was also quite mediocre.

It was my first time to visit Lux Maldives. Because the wind and waves are huge, those who want to book a water villa must be cautious!!!

The rooms at Moofushi are not luxurious, but everything is very comfortable, the food is very good, the view, the water and the service are really good, it can be regarded as a hexagonal fighter, snorkeling is highly recommended, Alizee's dishes are great, the red and white wines provided by the all-inclusive package are very well selected 👍, a perfect holiday

Very good. My daughter and I both think this is the best hotel on this trip. The price-performance ratio is also very high. The food in the restaurant is very delicious. The only downside is that there is a waiter in the restaurant who has been courteous and does not want tips, but asks us to buy him a hookah. After we refused, he went to buy it himself and signed our room. When we checked out, we found this matter and communicated with the hotel. The hotel will refund the money to us.
