"The Hilton Garden Inn Christchurch Airport is a true treasure. Its English castle-like estate and beautiful sprawling gardens are perfect for photos. Upon check-in, we were greeted with warm cookies. The room was spacious, the king bed was comfortable, and the heating was excellent. They offer a free, large parking lot and it's conveniently located near the airport and the Botanic Gardens. The breakfast even caters to Chinese palates with fried rice and dumplings. Plus, there's a heated pool and a gym. On the downside, the building shows its age a bit, breakfast isn't included, and it's a bit of a walk to the city center. This hotel is definitely a top choice for those traveling by car."

"The room was big and warm, but! After heavy snow, they didn't clear any of it, so all the paths around the hotel were covered in snow. Our car got stuck trying to drive in, and we had to trudge through deep snow just to get to our room. After it froze, it became very slippery. There was absolutely no hotel service to speak of; only one Indian front desk staff member. Due to the heavy snowfall, we couldn't get into Lake Tekapo and check in on the first night. When we tried to discuss a refund, they flat-out refused. Later, Ctrip helped mediate, but the hotel just stopped answering their calls. In the end, Ctrip covered the cost themselves and successfully processed the refund. I really want to praise Ctrip for their handling of this situation and their responsibility – they are a reliable platform!"

"Airport shuttle [round trip]: I called the hotel for a pick-up from the airport, and they picked me up right at Gate 1. If you're not sure where Gate 1 is, you can ask the airport staff. In the morning, you just wait at the front desk to be taken to the airport to pick up your rental car. Facilities: The hotel has a long history, which is detailed in a description next to the front desk. Despite its age, the room facilities are quite good, and I'm very satisfied for the price."

"This hotel location is superb right opposite The village city central. Everything is good EXCEPT no air con which is really hot in summer month …all 4 of us didn’t sleep well as is too hot- they only provide a standing Fan. I think winter month stay is ok."

"We stayed in Tekapo for two days to stargaze and visit Mount Cook, and chose to stay at Godley. Overall, it was a great experience! 👍 The location is fantastic; it's right by the lake, and our room offered lovely lake and mountain views. The Church of the Good Shepherd is also just a stone's throw away. There's a large supermarket within a few minutes' walk, and both the Intercity bus stop and the stargazing shuttle are conveniently located nearby. The room was quite spacious and had heating, which made it wonderfully warm at night. On our first day, the front desk even invited us to the hotel's evening concert, which was a very thoughtful touch, though we couldn't make it due to a schedule conflict. If I ever get the chance to return to this charming town, I'd definitely consider staying here again."

"I had a great stay there. I arrived very early but I could leave my backpack in the reception and also use the facility such as kitchen. The staff was very helpful. Some rooms have very nice view. It was best place to chill. Also you can rent a bike around $5/1h or $15/4h. I enjoyed the ride to the Mt Fyfee carpark and did a little hiking:)"

"Suitable for taking children. Our room sleeps 5 people, 3 single beds and 1 double bed. There is a kitchen in the room, the pots and pans are all complete, and there is a refrigerator for your own simple dishes. The hotel is very close to the city centre. Remember to bring toiletries, shower gel, shampoo."

"The room decoration is very new, there is a row of bungalows at the door, facing the small garden is a two-story building. The bed was very comfortable. It is the best decoration motel we live in.
