Mercure Ankara Kızılay
4.4/537 Reviews
There are smoking rooms, and all rooms on the 2nd floor are smoking-friendly. I stayed in room 203, the room at the very end of the 2nd floor. The room was not big, but very clean and well-lit. The hotel is in a good location, in the city center. Just a few hundred meters away from the hotel, turn left and walk to a shopping mall, bazaar, and dining are also convenient.
The Green Park Ankara
3.9/5118 Reviews
I have visited the hotel for a business meeting and I got very pleasant surprised by it and its staff. The people in the hotel and the staff at the reception were very supportive and helped me with some urgent issues that appeared at the time of my stay. I am very satisfied and would love to come back if I have the chance.
Anadolu Hotels Esenboga Thermal
3.2/513 Reviews
It is away from the city. I think it is inconvenient for personal use. There is nothing around. It feels like a house in the field (hotel). 2 people have 3 beds. King size w bed and single 2 beds. The room is quite large. The room has water and carbonated water service, but there is no hot water pot or coffee tea service. The most troublesome thing is that there are no cups. It is more inconvenient than I thought to have no cup. I asked the front desk for a cup but I couldn't deliver it until the end. The disposable slippers with the name were attached. The hotel itself is clean and nice, but the service is one now. The pool and sauna are said to be free to use until 10 hours.
Ibis Ankara Airport
4.4/543 Reviews
It is an Ibis. Red and functional as expected for the base level of Accor Hotels. Clean room and ensuite shower room. Basic seating. Comfortable beds. Efficient heating and air-conditioning. Breakfast and evening meal available in the open plan cafe / reception area with prices a bit high. Staff helpful and friendly. Bookable on line with prices varying between web sites. Located on the main road to Esenboga Airport which is a 30 minute walk or 5 minute taxi ride away. By taxi the route is initially in the wrong direction before a U-turn.
Gordion Hotel - Special Class
4.2/560 Reviews
The hotel is charming. There is a really nice Scottish pub inside the hotel itself (Old Harpist). Average breakfast. Staff are really friendly and helpful. The hotel is close to many eateries and pubs in Tunali. The rooms are pretty small. The bedding is good. However, the walls are not soundproof and thus if you wish to have a restful sleep it may go wrong in case you happen to have a noisy neighbor in a close by room. This is the reason why we moved to a different hotel in the area after two nights. Otherwise it's value for money.
Divan Cukurhan
4.7/5108 Reviews
Divan Hotel in Ankara offers a unique blend of history and modern luxury, having been meticulously restored and transformed from an old horse market into a sophisticated hotel. Perched on a hill right in front of the iconic Ankara Fortress, the hotel is conveniently close to the city center yet enjoys a peaceful setting away from the hustle and bustle. The rooms and decor exude historical elegance, providing a luxurious retreat for guests. The staff are both professional and friendly, ensuring a warm and welcoming stay, while the housekeeping is impeccable. Special thank to the front office staff who even offered and arranged our taxi back to the train station on the departure. Traveling from Istanbul to Ankara by high-speed train, we found ourselves in a completely different environment, moving from the tourist-filled streets of Istanbul to the serene and historically rich ambiance of the capital. We will definitely go back to stay in the hotel in the future.
Business Grand Hotel
3.5/539 Reviews
We stayed with my family to take a break during our holiday journey. We had some reservations at first, but we had a simply perfect stay. We had our breakfast in front of Anıtkabir, the rooms were nice, the staff were all polite, I would like to thank the hotel manager Mehmet and all his employees.
Holiday Inn Ankara - Kavaklidere
4.6/585 Reviews
This hotel is ideal for anyone coming to Ankara looking to stay in a comfortable and modern hotel that is located in a good part of the city and close to many attractions, recreational avenues and restaurants as well as walking distance from a vibrant part of Ankara known as Kızılay. The entire staff is very friendly and ready to assist throughout the day. The whole atmosphere of the hotel is very relaxed and the rooms are quite spacious and tastefully decorated. My biggest concern whenever I travel is the cleanliness of the room and the rooms in this hotel are definitely very clean and the standard seems to be consistently maintained. They also have Starbucks available in the hotel which is another plus point for days when you just want to grab some coffee and don’t want to go too far. The breakfast buffet is pretty good with a mix of Turkish delicacies and other continental items. The service is fast and everyone is very attentive as well. They have a great seating section spread over 2 floors and even a small space outside for the cooler months which is great. The hotel is located in the Embassy district so if you’re coming to Ankara for any official work or to apply for visas, it’s advisable to stay near the embassy in case you need to go back and forth for documents or any printing/photocopying services which the hotel is also able to assist with. I think all the major embassies situated in Ankara are within 7-15 minutes away from the hotel. Holiday Inn hotels are always good value for money and this one certainly is worth your time and money if you want affordable luxury accommodation in the capital city! Would definitely recommend it to all types of travelers going to Ankara in the near future
Mövenpick Ankara
4.3/581 Reviews
Front, upper rooms offer fantastic view. All personnel was very kind, respectful and friendly, especially Anil, in the restaurant. He did always exceed my expectations... Hotel is located next to a mall in a busy business location. I would come back.
Bugday Hotel
4.1/596 Reviews
I stayed for three nights, and could not have been happier with the comfort of the room, the COVID-cleanliness and precautions they took, and - most of all - the service from the staff. I needed help with an international call and in booking a ferry after I left the hotel: they helped with both. And they didn't need to ... my international call didn't go through from the room (probably my goof), and they placed the call for me. When I had tried to book a ferry to Istanbul on a website that kept finalizing the transaction in Turkish, they helped me sort out the inputs. AND when my US credit cards were not accepted, they even booked using a corporate card, and added the expense/no surcharge, to my room. Finally, when I left my camera in cab after leaving the hotel, they worked with my (future) tour leader in identifying the cab, holding the camera for me, and mailing it to me forward on the trip. They didn't have to do any of this: I'd already left the hotel ... but they were excellent in helping me out. The location is good, per the other reviews, but what really makes them stand apart is how they genuinely take care of the hotel guests both in general property conditions as well as making the stay a comfortable one.
