Went here for a birthday do — the sharing platters went down a treat with the whole group. Staff were sound, place looks well. Decent spot for a feed.

The pita bread was so soft and fresh, honestly the best part. Staff were lovely too, really friendly. Wish I had more room to try everything else! 😊

The little vineyard-covered patio is just magical in the evening. Food was decent, some dishes definitely better than others.

Service was spot on - staff kept the banter going even when the bar was packed. Didn't have to wait long for a refill, which says a lot.

Stumbled onto this place on Capel Street and honestly glad I did. Got the homemade pastry and a fresh juice — pastry was still warm, really good. Place is small but clean, nice vibe for a quiet breakfast. Prices are fair for what you get. Would go back if I'm in the area again.

Stopped by for lunch last week—Donal had the place buzzing as usual. Fish of the day was properly cooked, flaky, not overdone. Bruschetta was decent too, though I wish they'd gone heavier on the garlic. Upstairs room looks handy for a party, but I've only ever eaten downstairs. Solid spot if you're in Monkstown and want something reliable.

Service was spot on - our server kept checking in without hovering, sorted everything quickly. Got the beef cheek and it was proper tender, fell apart with the fork. Place was busy but we never felt rushed. Solid spot if you're in the area and want something decent without the fuss.

The bangers and mash were decent enough, chips were proper crispy. Live music upstairs was the best part though—second floor felt way more relaxed than the crowded bar below. Portion size was fair for what you pay, didn't leave hungry. Wouldn't say it's a hidden gem or anything, but it does the job if you're in the area.

The porridge here was really good—creamy and not too sweet. Coffee did the job too. Nice quiet spot to sit with a book for a while.

Stopped in for dinner last week and honestly the scallops were the highlight—cooked properly, not rubbery at all. The terrace was nice too, though we got lucky with the weather. Menu's pretty short but that worked fine. Lamb chops looked good but I didn't try them. Service was fine, nothing over the top. Would go back if I'm in the area again.

The chateaubriand for two was spot on, and that creamy mash with it was class. Didn't need the fussy service, just the food did the job.

The buckwheat crepes were light and tasty. Plenty of sweet and savoury options on the menu too. Portions are generous for what you pay.

Lovely spot right on the canal, bright and cozy inside. Got the veggie pasta, decent enough but the menu's a bit thin on options. Staff were sound though.

Stumbled in here after walking past it twice — door’s properly hidden. Candlelit inside, really cool vibe. Cocktails were spot on, you can tell the staff actually care about what they’re mixing. Didn’t try the food but honestly the drinks are enough of a reason to come. Book ahead though, place is small and fills up fast.

The light in here is just lovely on a slow Sunday. Had the eggs benedict again, still good. The female manager remembered me, which was a nice touch. Staff can be a bit hard to catch when you need them, but the vibe keeps me coming back. Solid spot for a relaxed brunch.

Stopped in for lunch during a work trip. Seafood chowder was thick and loaded with fish, not the watery stuff you get elsewhere. Beef cheek was tender, fell apart easy. Place was quiet, which suited me fine. Service was quick enough. Slightly pricey for the portion size, but you're paying for the quality. Would go back if I'm in the area again.

Been coming here for a while now and the service stays consistent. Even on a packed Saturday, the guy at the counter kept his cool, got our order right, no drama. We weren't left hanging either. It's the kind of place you don't have to think twice about. Just wish they'd wipe down the tables a bit more often, but that's me being picky.

The Guinness stew was decent, hearty enough for the price. Portion could've been a bit bigger for what you pay, but it did the job for a casual bite.

Stopped in for a bite and the food was grand, though I thought it was a bit dear for the portion. Great spot for watching the world go by, that’s for sure. Nice enough vibe inside. Only wee letdown was no Guinness on tap, would’ve loved a pint with the meal. Still, a pleasant enough stop.

Stopped in for a drink after work, ended up staying for a few more. Bartenders were sound, quick with the pints and cocktails. Didn't bother with much food, just a bit of bar snacks, was alright but nothing to write home about. Stick to the drinks here, you won't be disappointed.

Busy but still felt calm somehow. The staff were on it, never had to wait long. Food was solid — everything we ordered came out right. Loved the buzz in the room, not too loud, just alive.

Dropped in for dinner last week and honestly the food was solid, but what really stood out was the wine list. Safi helped me pick a bottle that paired beautifully with the lamb — proper knowledgeable guy. Service had a nice relaxed pace too, not rushed at all. Only slight gripe, the place got a bit loud later on. Still, a good spot for a leisurely meal. 🍷

Restaurant in InterContinental Hotels DUBLIN by IHG

Solid eggs benedict and the Nutella pancakes were class. No frills, just good food for a lazy weekend. Staff were sound, place had a nice buzz. Bit of a queue but moved fast enough. Reckon it's a decent shout if you're in the area and can't be bothered cooking.

The terrace is the spot—pint in hand, watching the cricket, hard to beat in Dublin. Staff were sound, quick with the service. Only thing, the wine list could do with a bit more thought.

Stopped in for a late lunch last week. Got the duck starter and lamb curry. Spices are really well balanced, proper flavour without being too heavy. Place was quiet enough, service was fine. It's not cheap, but the quality shows. I'd say it's worth it if you're in the area and want something a bit different.

Stopped by for a quick bite and grabbed the carrot and turmeric muffin — actually pretty good, not too sweet. Juices looked fresh too. Staff were sound, sorted me out fast. Place was a bit quiet but that suited me fine. Wouldn't mind going back if I'm in the area again.

Decent spot for Italian, right in the middle of everything. Pizza was pretty good, though the chicken caesar could've used more chicken. Tiramisu was worth getting. Service was friendly enough. Prices fair for the area, so no complaints there.

Stopped in for a coffee and a scone—owner actually remembered me from last month. That never happens in town. Place is small but warm, proper chat while I waited. Scone was decent, maybe a touch dry on the edge, but the coffee made up for it. Nice to have a spot like this nearby.

Food was decent and service quick enough. Portions looked small when they arrived but turned out fine. Slightly pricey for what you get though.

Stopped in for dinner and honestly the pasta was the highlight — you can tell they don’t mess around with the ingredients. I had the tagliatelle and it was properly done, sauce had real depth. Wine list is decent too, nothing crazy but fits the food well. Service was friendly, maybe a little slow towards the end but it didn’t bother me much. Place has a nice casual vibe, would go back if I’m in the area.
