"Hotel is relative clean. Stayed in a single room with a semi double bed. Size is decent but didn’t realised it was behind the lifts, could hear the lift moving through out the day. The shower head position is pretty bad. It’s not on an angle it’s pretty much like spraying directly into your body. It would be great if they could address this. It’s 15 mins walk from the metro station so not closed. Also there was a cockroach in the bathroom. Crawled out of the drain"

Jiaoxiyuan Hot Spring, enjoy hot springs and let you experience the unique relaxation mode in the house Located in Jade Village of Yilan County, Youzhai SPA Health Club offers accommodation with free WiFi. The accommodation offers a bathtub to enjoy hotspring. All rooms have air conditioning and flat-screen satellite TV. All rooms are equipped with a private bathroom with bathtub and hairdryer.

"The hot tub in the room is in an open-air space, which is something to be aware of when booking. The tub is large enough for two people to lie in simultaneously, quite spacious but not very deep. The large floor-toceiling windows offer a fantastic view. Parking is conveniently located just across the street. Tangweigou Park is within walking distance, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. The Chinese-style porridge for breakfast was just average. There's no place to hang clothes in the bathroom."

Hotel near Tainan Station,Tainan
The Shangri-La Far Eastern Plaza Hotel (Xianggelila Tainan Yuandong Guoji Dafandian) is located in Tainan's business district, within easy reach of National Cheng Kung University.

"The hotel is conveniently located next to Tainan Railway Station. As an established five-star hotel, there's no need to worry about cleanliness or service. My room on the 30th floor, facing the train station, offered a clear view of the Tainan coastline and skyline, which was absolutely beautiful. The fitness center, sauna facilities, and pool were all excellent. The turndown service was a thoughtful touch, providing fresh slippers and even tidying up the room again. Holding it to the higher standards of a five-star hotel, I'll nitpick a few areas that, if improved, would make it even better: Firstly, the hairdryer was underpowered and old – a 1200w model from 2018. It took almost 20 minutes to dry my hair, which was quite annoying. Secondly, the front desk hotline. I called the front desk about five times, and twice my calls went unanswered. Once was at 9 PM and another time at 11 AM, neither of which are unusual hours. This kind of issue shouldn't happen. Thirdly, the hotel facilities. Perhaps because it's an older hotel, there were slight signs of aging in the room's amenities, and the main light control was a bit inconvenient. Overall, however, it was a very pleasant stay. The staff's attitude was impeccable, and the price was reasonable. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit."

Hotel near Jiaoxi Station Area/Jiaoxi Hot Spring,Yilan
Ya-nold Hot Spring Hotel is located on Ren'ai Road, near Deyang Road. It's minimalist white design incorporates varied lighting and contrasting colors, creating a modern and stylish international hotel atmosphere. "I love coming to Jiaoxi and visit often. I've stayed at many hotels and guesthouses, big and small, and this time choosing Arnor was a great decision. The hot spring tub in the room is huge, and the room itself is very clean. I usually have trouble sleeping, but last night I surprisingly slept soundly until morning! I especially loved the outdoor hot spring... it was so comfortable and the air was fresh. The front desk staff were also very friendly! Thank you all! I'll definitely be back next time."

GGuest User1. Misleading Entrance Signage Upon arrival, we followed the signage pasted on a pillar that directed guests to a staircase entrance. However, when we reached that entrance, we were shocked to find the door marked with the sign “来宾止步” (“Guests Stop Here”). When we raised this with your staff, we were told that this entrance has not been in use since the COVID-19 period. While we understand that certain operations may have changed during the pandemic, COVID-19 restrictions have ended for more than two years. If the primary entrance has been permanently closed, why has no corrective action been taken and the misleading signage still left there? Carrying heavy luggage up and down a sloped path unnecessarily was frustrating and avoidable. 2. No Staff Assistance or Clear Signage at the New Entrance When we finally located the new entrance, there were no staff members on standby to assist us, nor was there any clear external signage indicating that this was the correct way to access the lobby. The explanation given later was that all staff were away assisting with parking which is not acceptable. At least one person should have been assigned to remain at the entrance, or the last person leaving should have arranged for another colleague to cover the position. In addition, the Operations Director mentioned that there is signage inside the new entrance directing guests to take the elevator to the lobby. However, this logic is flawed. If guests cannot locate the correct entrance in the first place, how could they possibly see a sign placed inside? 3. Poorly Trained and Unprofessional Front Desk Behavior After struggling outside, we called the number listed on Google. Only then did someone finally come out and lead us in. By that time, we were exhausted and upset. When we confronted the front desk staff about why they ignored us, despite us clearly visible outside the “来宾止步” glass door, making eye contact and knocking for help, but they claimed they “did not see us.” This excuse was clearly untrue, as we observed them looking in our direction. Even more disappointing, none of the front desk staff offered an apology even until we requested to speak to the Operations Director and asked him to review the CCTV footage. After reviewing the footage, the Operations Director confirmed that the front desk had not been alert and apologized on their behalf. However, he did not acknowledge that the front desk’s attitude and lack of sincerity were also serious problems. Being “not alert enough” and showing no sense of apology or empathy are two entirely different issues. As an international hotel, the front desk is the first impression of your service. Regardless of the quality of your facilities, this poor experience completely overshadowed the positive aspects of our stay. It also severely damages the reputation of Kagaya Group — a brand that has long been admired for its exemplary Japanese hospitality and politeness. Although we appreciate the Operations Director’s effort to make amends by offering us a meal and gifts (which we declined), it remains undeniable that this incident reflects a failure in staff training and management oversight. We hope that management will seriously review this incident, especially the issues of: - Inadequate and misleading signage at the entrance - Lack of staff presence and assistance upon guest arrival - Poor front desk awareness and unprofessional behavior We trust that Kagaya Group will uphold its proud tradition of service by addressing these problems promptly and ensuring no other guests experience such treatment in the future. Thank you for your attention.

JJohnHarveyExceptional Stay at Hotel Royal Hsinchu: A Standout Choice for Business & Leisure My recent visit to Hotel Royal Hsinchu (Hsinchu, Taiwan) exceeded all expectations, with flawless performance across every critical metric for a luxury hotel stay. Here’s a detailed, verified review organized by your requested criteria: Cleanliness (9.4/10) The hotel sets an immaculate standard. Guest rooms—including spacious beds, sleek干湿分离 (wet-dry) bathrooms with smart toilets, and city-view windows—are wiped down thoroughly daily, free of dust, odors, or stains. Public zones (lobby, restaurant, pool, and gym) are continuously maintained; even high-touch surfaces like elevator buttons and doorknobs are sanitized regularly. The entire property is smoke-free, ensuring fresh air throughout, with no musty smells common in older luxury hotels. Location (9.3/10) Perfectly positioned at No.227, Section 1, Guangfu Road, right on the doorstep of Hsinchu Science Park (ideal for business travelers). It’s a short drive to freeway interchanges, Hsinchu High-Speed Rail Station, and downtown shopping/dining districts. The free shuttle service connects guests to the science park, HSR station, and key local spots, eliminating transit hassle.桃园国际机场 (Taoyuan International Airport) is about a 40-minute drive away, while nearby convenience stores, cafes, and local eateries are within walking distance. Service (9.5/10) Attentive, professional, and warm—this team goes above and beyond. The doormen greet you by name after check-in, front desk staff handle requests (room upgrades, late check-out, local tips) quickly and politely, and multilingual support ensures global guests feel at ease. Bellhops assist with luggage promptly, breakfast attendants refill stations proactively, and housekeeping is discrete yet thorough. The staff’s willingness to personalize your stay (e.g., arranging birthday amenities) truly elevates the experience. Amenities (9.0/10) The hotel offers a comprehensive suite of luxury facilities. Guest rooms come with free high-speed Wi-Fi, premium linens, mini-bars, welcome drinks, and in-room safes. The heated outdoor pool and sauna are perfect for unwinding after a long day; the fully equipped fitness center caters to health-focused travelers, and the Royal Beauty Salon provides relaxing massages and treatments. The on-site restaurants serve an impressive breakfast buffet (featuring both international cuisine and authentic ********* specialties) plus refined Chinese, Japanese, and Western dining options. Additional perks include free parking, business center services, family-friendly rooms, and adapter/board game rentals. Final Verdict Hotel Royal Hsinchu is a five-star gem that balances luxury, practicality, and genuine hospitality. Whether you’re visiting Hsinchu for work (especially at the science park) or exploring the city’s culture and food, this hotel delivers an outstanding stay with zero compromises. I can’t recommend it highly enough and will definitely return on my next trip to Hsinchu.

AAnonymous UserWe had an enjoyable stay overall. The hotel is in a fantastic location, the room was comfortable, and the breakfast offered an excellent selection. However, some service interactions at breakfast felt unnecessarily formal and inconsistent. We were reminded to lower our voices even though we had only spoken briefly after finding our children, while other guests who were noticeably louder were not approached. These interactions made us feel less welcome than expected at a luxury hotel. Overall, it’s a very good hotel, but a warmer and more genuine approach to service would have made the experience even better.

YYingyingcaoThe hotel staff were all very welcoming. Ximending is nearby, and the breakfast selection is great. There are two MRT stations very close by, making it super convenient to get around. Across the street there's a Starbucks and a McDonald's, and on the street behind, there are local eateries.

Mmimi0513Let's start with the positives: The doorman, lobby manager, and front desk staff were all very professional, living up to the reputation of a renowned international hotel. The room was spacious, bright, and clean. Now for the negatives: It lacks grandeur. The lobby entrance is too narrow, making it feel like a busy market when crowded. The facilities are mediocre. The bidet toilet was installed too high; even at 172cm, my feet couldn't touch the ground when seated. The TV was incredibly small, disproportionate to the room size. The most frustrating issue was the poor soundproofing. The guests next door in room 1225 were speaking English, and perhaps they couldn't control their volume, but I could hear their conversations clearly, which was very loud and disturbing. This was extremely disappointing. Due to construction, the Ferris wheel was almost completely obscured. This isn't the hotel's fault, but rather an objective circumstance.

JJLun3388Sweetme Hotspring Resort is a fantastic place to unwind and recharge. The location is excellent, just a few minutes’ walk from Xinbeitou Station and conveniently close to many restaurants. One of the highlights of the stay was the spa experience. Guests can enjoy both the private in-room hot spring and the public spa facilities. The room was clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed for comfort. Breakfast was another strong point, with a good selection of food to start the day right. Overall, Sweetme Hotspring Resort delivers a well-rounded experience with great amenities, a prime location, and a relaxing atmosphere. I will definitely come back again.
