"We had a wonderful stay overall. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and accommodating throughout our visit, which really made a great impression. The breakfast was also fantastic—delicious, high quality, and such a nice bonus that it’s included with the stay.
The only disappointment during our visit was related to the sauna and spa area. One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was to enjoy those facilities. When we checked in, the front desk staff member even told us about the sauna and mentioned that we should call a few minutes before going so they could prepare it for us.
Unfortunately, we later found out that it was essentially unavailable for most of the weekend. On Sunday it was closed for a private event, and on Monday there was scheduled “maintenance” until 16:00. What made this a bit confusing was that we were in the gym area—right next to the spa—throughout the morning and didn’t see anyone doing any maintenance. When we tried again after 16:00, both the sauna and steam room had “out of order” signs posted.
Of course, we understand that things happen and facilities occasionally need repairs or may be reserved for events. It would have just been helpful to know this at check-in, especially since the spa was one of the main reasons we booked the hotel.
That said, aside from this issue, everything else about our stay was excellent. The service, atmosphere, and breakfast were all wonderful, and we truly enjoyed our time here."

"It is a smaller hotel, so you may have to wait a long time for the only receptionist to handle a phone call or other matter, and so ... like me ... you will just stand at the reception for over ten minutes.
The rooms are standard and there is nothing to complain about. The beds are soft, which I personally do not like, but that is a matter of personal preference.
Breakfast is probably standard for the country."

"The Leonardo Hotel Budapest was fine for a short stay. The location is decent, with some public transport options nearby. The room was clean but a bit small and basic. Staff were generally polite, though service could be a little quicker. Overall, nothing special but it does the job if you just need a place to sleep."

I stayed at this hotel for three days. The decoration is very new, the room is large, the service is thoughtful, the location is also very good, and the most important thing is that it is cheap and includes breakfast. It is very OK"

AAnonymous UserCheck-in time was flexible; we arrived early and were immediately given a room to rest, which was a huge plus for those arriving on early flights. Our standard room was on the 5th floor, a typical hotel room setup with good natural light and plenty of sunshine. The mattress was incredibly comfortable. In contrast, the bathroom had a much more distinctive design. A highlight was the small spa pool on the basement level, which had a unique vibe, wasn't crowded, and was very relaxing. It's complimentary for guests. While the hotel breakfast didn't have a huge selection, everything was relatively tasty, especially the Hungarian baked eggs, which were exactly to my liking. The staff were friendly and helpful. Recommended! PS: There was a wedding party on the day we checked in, and the music was quite loud at night, but fortunately, we couldn't hear it much from the 5th floor.

Tthe solo traveler 3it was such a lovely stay! the room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. complementary water was very much appreciated. i tried the in-room dining twice, both times i enjoyed the food a lot. the breakfast buffet was rich and abundant with so many quality food. all the staff were very friendly and helpful. i like to walk a lot when i travel, and the hotel was located in the heart of the city where you can easily reach anywhere you want as a tourist. highly recommend!

GGuest UserAll round the Corinthia Budapest is a great hotel with good prices and excellent service from very friendly employees throughout the hotel. Excellent spar. Relaxed lounge areas.
The bedroom on fifth floor was very nice clean and comfortable. The heating system is set at a high temperature which can become quite uncomfortable in the middle of the night. Loved the Christmas decorations and Christmas Sunday brunch with free flowing beverages.
Very tasty food in the restaurant. The only issues we would highlight is the problem with the hotel being so big that the breakfast restaurant gets very crowded with delayed self service causing the food to become cold by time you sit down. This is also due to many guests leaving the Bain Marie food service warmer lids open as they are rushing to get food. Also the coffee is machines are not good quality or require servicing as the coffee was warm or cold once milk or cream was added. This was the case everyday over 5 days we never got a hot coffee.
Hot food and drinks are very important and this was unfortunately the only let down during our stay.
Hence the reason for a lower review score.
Aside from this I would recommend the hotel.

FfengyiqiThe hotel is located in the city center. There are shops around. You can walk to the attractions. After all, Budapest has many attractions.
Service: Overall, I am very satisfied. Every staff member will ask if you need help and take the initiative to help with the luggage. The plane arrived at the hotel at about 10:30 in the morning. I waited for more than 10 minutes before the room was given to me.
You must also choose breakfast. There are not many types of breakfast, but they are very delicate. Every dish is very good. There are single dishes and buffets. Breakfast is in the hotel’s own Michelin restaurant on the first floor.
Talk about the shortcomings: I booked a Matilda Suite, but I was given the most basic king-size bed room? ? ? I didn’t react until the third day of my stay, so I didn’t negotiate with the hotel.
The hotel is not large, but the facilities are very new.
The sanitation is still quite satisfactory. Some places that are not easy to see need to be cleaned! Overall, it is still recommended!

Hotel location behind the main road, so was quiet and peaceful. Hotel facade and historical interior was beautiful, it was formerly a bath house in the 1800s.

EE.T.For sure, the hotel is in general nice. Very big Pool, nice Spa area. The room sizes are well (25+m2). Furniture are simple, plain usefull (about Holiday Inn style). Size of cabinets good for a 2 weeks stay with 2 persons. I liked the relatively big work desk. 2 armchairs and a small round table for your comfort. The bathroom good. Just thr hose with shower head was too short for tall people.
Cleanness was good. But, be aware,you need to ask for room cleaning. They do not do automatically.
This hotel mainly is for vacation/ family vacation. So, there als is a kids play room.
What I did not like so much, eas the dinner. It was very Hungarian style. Means, a lot of meat and heavy food. I was missing more vegetables. Cooked or fresh, but not so much pickled.
On other hand, breakfast has been great!
Parking at the hotel is free of charge. And the parking lot really is big.
Over all best place to stay in this area.
