Muy bonito y cómodo, para el costo está muy bien. Y cerca de todo lo que necesitaba para el momento. Fui por I trámite de SRE y estaba muy cerca. Y cerca del paseo Montejo donde fuimos a cenar. En realidad está muy cómodo y sin nada de ruido. Las camas y las almohadas estaba muy cómodas

I am form the US and only speak a little spanish. This was my 3rd visit oover a 6 year period and the fornt desk staff has always greated me well in english with my questions. The monring breakfast is the ebst breakfast I have had at any Hampton Inn anywhere in the world ( 6 am - 10 am). The elevator has a security key using your room key, to go up to your room. The rooms are large and the bed is very comfortable. Black out curtains keep the room coole rfor day tiem and dark in the room at night, which i need to sleep better. Also, the room is very quiet with no outsode morning noise form business nor vehicles. Request two keys if you need a cool room when you return at night. Your room key fits in a slot near the door that allows to the AC and lights to stay on. Most nights, I went for a walk for exercise and it is an easy walk to the the Luxury Mall, Costco or the museum with the Convnetion center just down the road. The streets are well lit, police patrol the roads and I felt safe (even saw many women walking alone at night). There is a food cort at the mall and an OXXO convientence store located on the north side of the mall. It was perfect for my needs, the price was right and I will stay there again.

The hotel is very new and is the best hotel for the entire trip. The breakfast is good, the front desk is very good, the room is better than expected, the soundproofing is very good, it is 2km away from the historical center, parking is free, there is a swimming pool on the roof, and the view is very good; the only drawback is that the toilet is designed a bit high, and a person with a height of 160 can only tiptoe 😅

Nice hotel with friendly service. I've stayed in Fiesta Americana hotels a lot and know generally what to expect. This one lives up to the high Americana standards. It is in a good location, near good restaurants, but not in the central area of town. Beds are very comfortable and rooms are nice. The bar had live music on Friday night and the band was great. Across the street is an outdoor restaurant that also had live music at night. The first floor of the Fiesta Americana hotel is all shops, so the actual hotel lobby is on the next floor. At the top of the escalator, in the lobby, there will be one or two people who will approach you and offer to help you with anything. They are very nice, but their goal is to sell you something like a timeshare. We refused to talk to them about that, so we never got the full explanation. We also got a phone call in our room, from the same people, telling us they had a free gift for us. We did ask these people for recommendations of local activities and they were very nice and helpful. Included was a light breakfast and snacks/drinks on the fifth floor. This was very convenient and the food was simple, but good. The only real surprise we had was at check out. We found that there is a charge for the self serve coffee in the room. I never use anything from the mini-bar or anything in the room that has an extra cost. I do not remember seeing anything about the coffee costing something. So many other places it is free/included. The hotel did reduce our charge for the coffee, but be aware that there is a charge.

This Intercontinental is rather different from usual. The location is great but was unexpected that it will be just along the noisy street in an ancient building which before used to be another hotel. So it is rather old (in perception not in amenities). The rooms are specific but good and comfortable. We've checked the Hyatt which is right after the corner but that Hyatt is luxury and as everywhere. And this Intercontinental is special - you feel as if you are in colonial times. The hotel is narrow (in corridors).The open door pool is tiny. The breakfast selection is good but not so wide. So general impression is very good. The personnel is very friendly but not so much and good speaking English. So some time we needed in order to adopt ourselves to this experience but generally we are pretty much satisfied. We've stayed here for 8 night so can judge. :-).

It is the second time that I stayed here, because due to the first and the good impression I had, I decided to repeat, but this time I was disappointed, the hotel has an enviable location right on Paseo Montejo, it has parking, elevator but unlike This time I booked with Expedited A. When they arrived at the place they charged me more than what the app indicated. Honestly, I was too tired to complain, then they gave me a room that looked very damaged, the room smelled... like vomit, the pillows had a smell of dirt... I'm very picky about beds and scents, the bathroom was ultra small. , a micro alcón that was laughable, and the work table was strange.... Secluded in a separate room, super enclosed, and the light turned on and off by itself... The bathtub (so I did not recommend this hotel for elderly or disabled people). It was difficult to hold the handle for the shower... Anyway, this time the exori3nxia5 disappointed me, the reception service was super dry, and when I left they told me that they hoped they would check the room (as if it had damaged something... If damaged I was already there) they forgot about me and never told me that I could leave... While after 5 they attended to others who were leaving the hotel... In the end I. Get out. The hotel has its own thing but this time it disappointed me. I don't think I will return a 3rd time

This places is lovely. Understand, though, that some of the super old furniture is worn. I was there for a month and switched back and forth between two rooms. The first room was a standard double. (The room pics I provide are all of this room). It was a lovely room. The bathroom didn’t make sense though. It was the tiniest bathroom I’ve ever been in. The pic shows the sink and the toilet. Across from that, there’s a shower. the room above this one has the same configuration as the one shown, but the sink is outside of the bathroom, which makes the entry/sitting area of the room more pleasant. I chose not Ask to move upstairs because it’s also hotter upstairs than downstairs… and the bathroom configuration wasn’t that big a deal to me. The first room was overlooking Calle 60. It was a bit noisy on some nights. I actually preferred my smaller room to the bigger suite. Something about it just felt nicer. It needed more comfy dining chairs for the little tea table though. The second room I stayed in was a suite with two double beds. (I am not posting pics of that one because there are too many personal items in the pics I have of that room). It was the corner suite facing both Calle 60 and overlooking the park in front of the hotel. IT WAS NOISY. The second room had more light, More room, and a much better bathroom configuration (toilet and shower inside, sink outside the bathroom). It also had a couch and lounging Chair as well as much better (and much older) furniture. By “better” I mean beautifully worked, with more storage space/specialized storage. However, the floor in the second room (the suite) was really badly damaged over by the bathroom. So from the door the room looks pretty much perfect. Over by the bathroom it looks run down. And that’s just how this place is. That’s why I say it’s like staying in someone’s grandma’s house. Beautiful, comfy, clean, but it’s clearly been used. There are rooms that have newer furniture, but understand that this is an old hotel. ITS GORGEOUS but if you expect everything to be new looking, then don’t stay here. I think they are renovating, but I’m not sure. I hope that they keep the furniture and just have if restored as best as possible. They should also restore the broken tiles. IMO restoration of the tiles and professionally filling nicks in wood would do wonders for these rooms. If I were to give this place a review just based on the look of it I would give it a 4. 3 for the condition and 5 for the beauty and ambience. I am giving it a 5 for three reasons: 1. It’s just gorgeous, 2. It felt like was staying in someone’s home… very peaceful… inviting… comfortable and 3. The staff. Come to think about it, they probably are the reason the place felt so comfortable. They seemed efficient and were pleasant, helpful people. This Wyndham in the heart of Merida was overall very nice with a superb staff on hand. A few snafus to mention… I am handicapped and their own ADA rooms are on the fourth floor. Who know whose idea that was! There is one elevator on each side of the hotel, and if the elevator is out, and you are on the fourth floor, you have to take the stairs because there is no connection to the other side of the building. So… of course, on our second day, both elevators were out. We requested that they move us to a room on the 1st floor. When we returned from our day’s activities, all of our stuff was moved to a new room, even though that room was not an ADA room. All good right? Not quite, as we are getting ready to head out that evening, we see a puddle of water in the bathroom…turns out there was a leak from the base of the toilet. The staff once again helped us to move to another room on the first floor. Overall, it’s also a well-kept hotel. But the building is quite old and could use some repairs. We ate at their restaurant only once, and it was not Wyndham quality food. Their brunch is a whopping 350 pesos, which given the food quality, is extremely overpriced. For breakfast, we strongly recommend going to the very nearby Flores Café. The rooms are nice; our first (ADA) room was actually larger than the room we were assigned on the first floor. The best part about the hotel was the staff. Extremely helpful and apologetic about the elevator situation. I give this hotel overall 4 stars; 5 for service; 3 for the ADA situation and 3 for the food.

I can only say positive things about this wonderful boutique hotel. It’s very unassuming from the outside, but as soon as you enter the lobby, you can tell that they have dedicated a lot of time and effort into making something special. The decor, the tiles, the color choices, the openness and airiness of the spaces were all warm and welcoming. The staff was very friendly. My room was large with 10 foot ceilings, the Wi-Fi was fast and the bed very comfortable. My shower was large and included an open space with live plants and a ceiling open to the outside (screened) so that when we had a rainstorm – and boy, did we have a thunderstorm! – the rain came down directly into the shower area. There is a lovely small pool, as well as little sitting areas and other decorative touches lining the hallways and stairwells, including one area with a hammock that I lay in during the thunderstorm. I only stayed for one night, but I sure wish I could’ve stayed longer.

We were so happy to find such a lovely hotel in Valladolid, that was super nice and modern, but was also beautifully combining the Yucatan traditions and symbols. First of all, the name of the hotel was also special and Waye means hotel de aqui. We have stayed in a lovely room at the first floor decorated in a boho Mayan vibe, that was really close to their rooftop pool. I loved spending time there and also in their front garden, surrounded by their gorgeous exotic plants and also by the super tropical bar. The hotel is located super close to the city center of Valladolid and you have by a walking distance el Parque Central and the Monastery of San Bernardino de Siena. There is a lovely pedestrian street, filled with colourful buildings, flowers and shops really close by, that is called Calzada de los Frailes. If you happen to be in the area and want to visit Merida, Chichen Itza and Tulum, this hotel is in the center of all these locations and you can have nice road trips planned in different locations and tourist attractions everyday. They also have a lovely restaurant called Mundo Maya where they serve breakfast in the morning, but you can also have lunch or dinner there. We’ve had some delicious typical Mexican eggs in the morning and decided to stay also for dinner that was also very good. I loved their guacamole and tacos. Save this destination on your wish list because it is so gorgeous and so worth it.

This boutique hotel exceeded our expectations, it’s like been on jungle. The rooms are very spacious and with all amenities you may need, the outside area has a small pool with sunbeds and a lovely sitting area and an in site cenote. The service is very professional with lovely staff and the restaurant has a very decent menu. Everything we tried was very good. There is also parking provided. We enjoyed our stay very much and is a diamond for the area!
